  1. I entered HKT on one of the first days of Phuket Sandbox July 2021. Witnessing  the economic devastation

was walking up Bangla road saw some bargirls washing dirt and  dust off the beer bottles. Probably 18 month old stock at that point!

A couple bars opened for first two or three nights. Then the fuzz shut them down. Enjoyed doing nothing for two weeks actually.

Yes there are foreigners and yes the majority are indeed scum, but you do get unlucky people, and those in the wrong place at the wrong time, or meeting the wrong people that also get caught up in the web.

As scum I mean the foreign thieves, frauds, and violent offenders who are let in the Kingdom without criminal checks.

Life could have been completely different.   One lad from high school got caught with photographs of a small grow and  a short stretch of time. He would not snitch. Now it's sold almost everywhere in the US in a shop.  And some years ago here if I saw some backpackers lighting up in a guesthouse I would run away.  Worst thing about drugs is them being illegal. I would not accept it at the time. My parents were insistent my young friends would drag me down. Well, I think I came very close to being "caught in a web" a couple times.

What's a Farnag? Is it the same as a Farungun?😆

The majority of prisoners are homegrown Thais.

A farnag is a same as a farang. A Falung. A fareng, a fring or even a forlong.

Do you have a record of arrests or convictions for serious crimes or social offenses in the UK?

  4. Sure there are some people who were wrongly convicted and innocent

But why should anybody give a toss about criminal scum that drag all farnags down?

Yes it has, no matter how much you want it not to be true, she was abused and claims daddy abused her. Showering with a teenage daughter is just sick

Interesting.Trump. The convicted  rapist with dozens of other claims of sexual assault. Openly brags of his method of sexual assaults. Denies then but during his legal depositions in his rape trial admits and justifies it

Also interesting . Biden. No legal allegations. Only wild claims from a stolen diary pushed on right-wing conspiracy sites.

I told you why I won’t waste time being your social media puppet. Do your own research

What are you trying to say?

I cant believe your pretense of being so obtuse as to avoid a simple question. I would prefer if you had simply marked “confused” again and went on your not so merry way Once again as simply as I can reckon.

Do you think any likely Trump voters or people who voted for him before will vote for RFK jr. ?

    So, no quotes then?

This isn't a debate. RFKs statements are part of the public record and I'm not going to sit here for 15 minutes quoting online articles anybody can do for themselves, and for you to ignore.

He is a spoiler who will not get a single electoral college vote.

Any vote for RFK jr is a vote for Trump, is the only point I really wanted to make.

Or,  Does Yellowtail  think any MAGA voter will be disillusioned band vote for RFK jr. ?

    • And what is up with the voice?  He sounds like 'ol Bobcat Goldthwaite. Did he have a stroke or throat surgery?

What has he said that you think comes from the Trump playbook?

Vague populism, southern border only a  means to jab Biden. , 2020 election conspiracy theory. Calling the insurrection "activism" and prosecution of that vile bob thereof miscarrriage of justice. The so- called media censorship.  And now "politically motivated prosecution and weaponization of justice department". Not to forget the completely ridiculous vaccine nonsense he has been pushing, like forever.

It really goes on and on. I would say he is a plant of the GOP but that would be too obvious. Even Hannity loves him

RFK's comments are echoing more and more Putin's talking points. He is now claiming Russia invaded Ukraine to denazify.

Could he be one of the politicians getting paid by Russia?

It is strange that he speaks from the Trump playbook but it is D votes he will be poaching. Those in the swing states become votes for Trump. Trump even once suggested RFKjr would be a good Vp  but nobody in MAGA would vote for him as Potus.

Like Trump a dupe, stooge, or useful idiot

double standards , but you knew  that already.......J  hope

It is not a double standard when you are an uninvited guest in the Kingdom. My country is also 30 percent overrun with crims who cannot be deported and should not be executed. These lowlifes, literally 30 percent  plus American males have an arrest record. Some are Presidential candidates. Others, well they will just as soon kill you for a nickel or looking at them funny.

    Disagree,

In all the smaller planes there is very little difference in where you sit unless you pay or have a Gold membership or above to choose your seats with legroom or exit rows free of charge. I would never sit in a middle seat.

That includes the Dreamliner 787 good aircraft, but economy alas, is still economy.

I am flying next month and have purposely arranged my schedule to ensure I am on the A380 from BKK-DOH and DOH-BKK return.

I am 6'3" and 110 kg and no way would I describe the experience as  ' just a tiny seat on a big plane ' It has ample room in my view, OK, it's economy, but it's good economy especially in seat 40A lower deck at the front section. I have flown the upper deck, but personal choice, I like 40A.

Huge aircraft and has plenty of room.

For my return leg MAN-DOH, I have Qcredits on the A350  for the business class upgrade.

Actually there is nothing wrong with TG economy class seats In should not have said tiny. I just don’t think A-380 was anything special and somehow a bit cramped vice the 777 and 747-400 I was used to. I prefer an aisle seat on long flights and window on short.

Tiny is the LCC carriers like Jetstar Japan that somehow cram 180 plus seats on a 737-800. Same for the KE 737-800 they were using low season between ICN and CNX.

Anybody used it yet? I booked a flight to Swampy next week and the plane will be 787-8. So, my question is has anybody used it yet, and what is it like? I will fly cattle class since I picked up a cheap flight.

Cannot remember if I took the TG 787 but I did the A-380. Just a tiny seat on a big plane

Seat manufacturer types and arragements are customer options

    Check the Seat Guru app.

Who are you referring to that hooked up with their non-related step-sister?   Allen did not marry his cousin, nor hook up with his step-sister.

Just asking a question. My step-sister , well when I was about 23 I think she tried to jump me

We never even lived in the same house but she and the gang of high school sluts she hung out with

are 7  years younger and it would have been borderline Pedo and definitely statutory rape, as I see if they are not 17 or 18.

    And I had a girlfriend.

Tip-off from a Concerned foreign national about the suspect....  Hmmm.....    could this concerned foreign national be the 'competition' perhaps ???....   oh how cynical I am.

This 'crackdown on foreign criminal activities' disgusts me... it reeks of xenophobia.....  Why not just a simple crackdown on any illegal activity....  the race, nationality, creed of the person or persons involved completely irrelevant ???

... Answer is obvious - that puritanical Xenophobia rears its head....

One reason this is read meat for the masses is how Thais see "rich foreigners" come here visa exempt of with easily procured visas.

Then some commit crimes, work illegally or even beg in the street

Thais know how it is hard to get visas.

One of my friends was perfectly respectable with a Korean husband. It took her 3 tries to get a tourist visa to go to the US. When she arrived finally she was separated from him to be grilled in a room and told not to "run away".

    ================

There is a REASON why the Dreamliner can maintain a higher cabin pressure, without sacrificing longevity....

    I guess you must know.....

    Right?

    ==============

Anyway, this higher cabin pressure is a major advantage for long-haul flights.

One major difference the 787 is that it is a nearly all electric powered airplane with no pneumatic systems and has limited Hydraulic systems that run at 5000 PSI not 3000-4000 like other Boeings

The air conditioning/pressurization units are basically huge electrically powered compressors. Not traditional packs that from engine bleed air. This saves fuel, thrust loss, and weight. The fuselage is mostly carbon fiber thus I'm guess ing the reason they can run higher cabin pressures. The structural limitation on cabin pressure is called "delta-P" I can't write the delta symbol here. Also the cabin humidity is kept higher. The air in Boeings traditional all metal aircraft is kept very low as it affects corrosion over the service life.

A little more humidity is more comfortable for crew and pax on long flights.

I don't know the English sentence for this saying.
A similar sentence is: "wanneer men iemand kwaad wil doen, vindt men altijd wel een voorwendsel".
Translated to English: "When one wants to do harm to someone, one always finds a pretext".

It simply means that when somebody wants to find a reason to put you in bad daylight (to beat a dog) he/she will find a pretext (find a stick).

Wikipedia gives about the same translation https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Dutch_proverbs :

    • Wie een hond wil slaan, kan gemakkelijk een stok vinden.
      • The one who wants to hit a dog can easily find a stick.
      • Someone who wants to be mean will find things to be mean about no matter what.

So, I think that you should learn English.

Sure one thing we can agree on is Anton’s stock in trade

is vilifying foreigners. The tendency on AN is to justify and molly-coddle foreign criminals because “Thais do more and worse”. It is not Thai criminals who are dragging us down.
