That's what I've been looking for... The name of my new band....Anutin and the virus.
Not that I'm working of course. Contrary to my bail conditions, oh, I mean, extension of stay conditions....Just in my mind, I have a band, and this will be its name.

He thinks he was not likely to be suitable as Power Minister. A breath of fresh air, or another episode of Yes Minister?
"I have no ambitions in that direction....
while one does not seek the office, one has pledged oneself to the service of one's country, and if one's friends were to persuade one that that was the best way one could serve, one might, reluctantly, have to accept the responsibility whatever one's own private wishes might be. "

Stats show India having a death rate of 137000 per year. Substantially more than Thailand.
then factor in the number of people per country:
Thailand 69,000,000 plus.....
India: 1,353,000,000 plus.....
per 100,000 people, Thailand: 37.68, India: 10.125......
This is why Thailand is number 2 in the world...

I'm wondering if Thailand has a recall process. I think perhaps the people who voted for him at the last election will be reconsidering their actions.

Gold goes up and down with respect to the currency used to purchase it. It has always been so.
That being said, it has trended upwards in the long term. In June 1999 it was $267.40 an ounce, in September 2011 it was $1827, Friday's am spot price was $1626.35, pm spot price was $1609.85.
Over the last month, gold has been 'volatile', ranging from $1552.20 to $1682.35....
Just saying...

Ah the beauty of the English language. The ability to read a headline, make an assumption and find out, it was another meaning of the word used.
Gutted: How many meanings? I found 3, remove the internal organs of an animal, remove or destroy the internals of a building, and cause someone to be extremely upset or disappointed.

500 baht and a 'wai' should sort it.

The cost of the ceremony alone would outweigh the cost of a a few cheap trolleys.

This is a bit like analysts saying the SET will bottom out 15 points higher than it currently is, and growth will be 3% this year.
I'm with many others, what time and date, so I won't need to water the garden the evening prior.

Rubbish headline. He hopes to promote it as a Covid-9 free race. He cannot promise, nor did he.
He promised effective preventative measures, not a Covid-19 free Buri Ram moto GP.
Errr, someone take me to the loony bin. I just defended the guy.

Krungsri Securities has predicted that the SET Index will fall to 1,355 points following global markets, as investors still remain under pressure from the worldwide spread of Covid-19.
Charlatains. The strapline say it's already closed at 1340.52, so it's waaaaayyyyy past these idiot's predictions. Why does anyone give these so called analysts the time of day.

The theory should match the evidence, not the evidence fitted to the theory.
Speculation leads to injustice.

Now the proposal is to have 20 year old conscripts armed with weapons of war in shopping malls?
Arming security guards?
Why not treat the cause, not the symptom?

How about a head swap for the Governor. He ordered it to be done, he didn't make the complaint himself. And for goodness sake, really? There's nothing more pressing needs to be done?

From these figures,

Remind me what was being said about Chinese and Indian tourists?

Mouth before brain. Why does anyone show any interest in what politicians think, say or do?

Perhaps the lorry driver should have rear ended her, rather than swerve.
Lorry laden with passengers in the bed, trying to overtake on the nearside, a car travelling in the far offside lane. A recipe for disaster.
Sorry, Darwinism strikes again.

Has Thailand had enough of Western tourists and their ‘entitlement’?

How are we measuring value here? Amount of money spent per person per day? I suppose it's as good a way of measuring as any.
Just like Thailand's road death rates putting it at number 2 in the world, if measured as number of people killed at the scene of an accident for every 100,000 people in the country. But well behind India in the actual number killed in road traffic accidents.
