  1. Am I missing something here, as you recently said you just got back from Manila? Does 7 weeks on and off in Pattaya include being in the Philippines? Will next week bring us a post, "Returning from Pakistan where I spent a month learning the local cooking"?
  2. Why makes you think you know what others notice? How can you assume that most others don't hear about the amount of violence and how do you know what's suppressed by the legacy media organizations? Old news. I get my info online from many sources. Do you just make guesses or believe opinions from other armchair quarterbacks? And the news here does get to the US daily, by all Americans that live here and have family back home, including yours truly. You actually think your assumptions are correct and think what I say is wrong, and post a link or video trying to prove your point. Not understanding, again, that the news here doesn't come close to matching what's on TV daily back there. Quite an imagination you have there. I'm thinking I can guess what side you're on if you've ever lived in the US.
  3. Where does one get the idea I said the US doesn't have the violence Thailand does? It always amazes me how some can twist things around to serve their ego, somehow turning what one says into another thing entirely. I lived in the US 62 years, in and around major cities, and know as much as anyone what goes on there. I sold guns for years, had many policemen as friends and customers, who told their own tales. I think I'm quite aware of what goes on as I make it a point to keep up on world news daily. You, and a few others here, base their arguments on a few youtube videos and think they know all of what happens in a country they've never stepped outside in, or maybe never even visited. You come off thinking you somehow know others here, like a few here that like to skim through someone's post and make assumptions based on a few words, albeit twisted around because you can't quite comprehend what we say, to suit your own narrative. Before you reply, or post, try and read with more understanding of what another says, because it seems you're quite confused about what does happen in the US, thinking random violence somehow matches the cowardly acts done here. Yes, innocent people do get attacked everywhere on earth, but this country has a certain flair for groups attacking others 5 or more to 1. This does not happen in the US like it does here. The culture here has a higher percentage of absent fathers who aren't made responsible for paying for the children they make. Back home you don't pay, you go to jail, as my ex did because she didn't keep up with her support payments to me. Absent fathers can't teach their boys to fight fair, so they learn how from other boys in the same type of situation. The US has many gangs, and this accounts for most of the murders happening there, along with suicides adding to the gun deaths. Thailand has gangs also, acting in the same violent manner. Before you post, try and understand what others are saying. And don't assume we don't know what's going on in our countries of origin. And try to understand that only a tiny percentage of what goes on here makes the news, whereas in the US there are hundreds of more TV stations reporting things all day long.
  4. That's what I said. Look at others comments on your postings. A few don't like what you've said either.
  5. This is what I mean by skimming. I never said anything about anyone in a coma.
  6. Do you realize, no matter the outcome on his behalf, that he was kicked in the head by a disturbed, violent local, who obviously doesn't care for or respect life to risk someone's life, most knowing it doesn't take much to cause brain damage or death by doing this? And calling brits morons when you are one shows why you left the country, and brings to light what your agenda is.
  7. Check the comments, instead of skimming, like all narcissists do, to hope for fault when there is none, and never take responsibility when proven wrong.
  8. He always sticks up for locals, meaning he is one, or he gets the brown noser of the year award.
  9. Check the comments instead of skimming
  10. Meter was okay, they saw error on units, corrected it, bill lowered 215 baht
  11. I just posted a picture and added your reply, then mine.. I explained what I did, no intention to do otherwise and I know they understand. If you don't understand that I was telling you, along with others, that you're being blase where a persons safety is concerned, something I don't do, as everyone can see from my posts. Kicking someone in the head and you thinking it's not an intention to kill makes me think you could care less, or maybe you think it was okay to do and isn't no big thing? Your words......lol @ attempted murder !
  12. I just added to it, adding the picture to explain what you said to another, "Where's your proof of intent to kill?" was missing something. I added, "This appears to be an intent to cause major damage or to kill, unless of course he was going for a field goal". I see this picture as someone trying to maim or kill, seeing he was winding up before he kicked his head, which can kill very easily.
  13. At the top of the picture..............Where is your proof of intent to kiil ? This appears to be an intent to cause major damage or to kill, unless of course he was going for a field goal. Your quote and my reply. The words might not have gone through on your side, because it was also from a quote
  14. I don't see the lack of good education as necessarily a bad thing. Millions of people live in poverty , being farmers and the like, and they aren't bad people because of this. We need farmers so we can eat, and if that's all they know, I'm all for it. I don' want my daughter to be a farmer,,and moving to the US will give her an excellent chance of having a great future, because I can get her into good schools and then college. Having the people here get more pay through more democracy would help them yes. Better schools and teachers will help them also, as will having them learn more English, which gives them more chances for a better paying job. As far as disciplining their children, this is something that needs to change because generations have passed down corporal punishment that is even still seen in some schools, although it's not allowed. If you are raised thinking whipping your kids to discipline them is normal, that's all you know, until proven otherwise. It's abuse no matter where it happens, and too easy to use. The alternative is actually talking to your kids and teaching them restraint, respect for authority without bowing down to it, respect for elders, and animals. I won't tolerate anyone hitting my child, especially seeing I don't myself, and if anyone does, they're going down hard. I don't see any big changes in this country until some are taken out and better ones put in, which could take decades to happen. Some are trying, and good for them.
  15. A kick to the head, especially the temple area, can cause brain damage or death very easily. It doesn't have to be excessively hard either. This is why we see so many die daily on the roads here, wearing no head protection. My ex's brother was involved in a scooter accident years ago, wearing no helmet. He was lucky enough to survive, but all he does now is walk around, a little unstable and he falls frequently, and collect firewood and such for grandma. He makes loud, strange noises you can hear 100 yards away, and talks sometimes, but that's his life. Someone winding up and looking to kick someone in the head while lying down, like this maniac is, is looking to maim and or kill.
  16. If you don't know, you're too far gone to try and explain it to you. But, look back at where it originated and your replies, and you might understand why others are looking at you with disdain.
  17. This is reason one why people say never go swimming alone. Anything can happen, from a heart attack to slipping and hitting your head then falling in. Sadly, he was a veteran swimmer, which emphasizes that swimming alone is never safe.
  18. People have but a few choices to vote in a president, and history has proven the choices could have been better, just like here, with the exception being that here those who are voted in, aren't in. I think you're forgetting one important point. There are no true Americans. Everyone has relatives that are from somewhere else, meaning your native country too. As far as 70,000,000 being "mental??? What exactly does that mean, because the US is more advanced in many ways than all other countries, with those Americans again being from everywhere else, at least as far as their ancestry is concerned?. I've known thousands of people, and the only ones I would consider as "mental" are two of my ex wives and a few ex girlfriends, along with a select few other acquaintances. The rest are regular, garden variety "normal" people. How would you know who is mental if you've never met any Americans besides maybe a few here? Remember, you can't go by others opinions, because they mean nothing, and videos only show a tad of what goes on there, and are usually posted because they are outrageous or show violence, because people thrive on both things.
  19. The only way you can see what a country has to offer is to spend time there. Listening to videos or word of mouth is just a tiny representation of what another country has to offer. Even visiting yearly for a couple of weeks only scratches the surface. The US has everything any place on earth has, and every food on earth. As far as Thais liking western food, the main reason the obesity rate climbed from very little to almost 48% of overweight and obesity is western food and sugar laden drinks.
  20. I was referring to those mature enough to have sex. Kids can grow up in a gay household and still be heterosexual by choice. Pedophiles are those that force sex on children, it not being their choice but a coercion by someone who manipulates their immaturity into their sick acts.
