That's what I meant when I said the girl someone posted was attractive but skinny. A lot here seem to like girls that weigh less than 90 lbs, and are over 5' tall. That is basically a teenager's body, and to me it's just wrong. There are millions of girls with more meat on them that are still as, or more attractive. I don't understand the thinking besides domination. Women are supposed to have curves at any age past teenager. Any smaller makes it like you're with a teenager, and if you're 60 and above??? My ex wife was 5' tall and weighed 95 lbs when I met her. She lost weight and her attraction went away. She looked like a teenager again besides her face.

To put things plainly, as i did earlier to another, NO ONE knows what other people think about anything, unless they are asked, and then they can lie or exaggerate. A man with money can get most any woman he wants, because a lot of gorgeous women, including Asians, are gold diggers. I, and many here who have stated this, have seen hot Thai women with regular, overweight foreigners because they have money. You seem to miss the fact that this culture is world known as far as how the men are. Women here are looked at as slaves, inferior, objects, to them, and they know this, although they will still go with a rich Thai because he's, rich. How can a rich Thai businessman put a foreigner to shame? Maybe the cheap ones, because again, women everywhere are always looking for the best deal they can get, besides those who have low self esteem and think no one can love them. An average retiree still makes more than most locals. The hi-so's make more, and they usually stick with other hi-so's, who these women don't seem to understand, will cheat on and abuse them also. In any event, this isn't putting an average retiree, who is a good provider, good husband and good lover to shame. No one, no matter how much they have, is any better than anyone else who is a good man. The problem is that many women are generally ignorant as far as what makes a good man is concerned, many preferring to stay with some just because they have more money, which is no guarantee they have anything else going for them. The main characters here are the same everywhere, because of how women think. The one with more money is better, no matter if he's a human trafficking, drug dealing, abusive or cheating scumbag. If he's a good family man, all he needs is one good woman, but if you look at Hollywood and the like, most marriages fail no matter how much money is involved.

I posted a link explaining why women go into the trade, seeing the comment on lots of jobs was directed at me. As far as the last line, my ex chose me because her two men she had children with cheated on her and were into drugs. I saw only the fact they didn't want anything to do with their daughters, and that's enough for me to understand why a woman would leave. She has been with Thais after me, and both are drunks that hit her. One threatened my daughter if my ex didn't keep in contact with him, and I plainly told her to tell him he needs to stay away if he doesn't want to be thrown out with the trash. She is now going to visit a Polish man in Germany, and did tell me earlier in our relationship she didn't like Thai men. This shows they will go anywhere money is forked out, at least for awhile.

Maybe they've lived here long enough to know what goes on? Maybe they want better for their daughter than becoming a farmer's wife? Living here all their lives, knowing most jobs are dead end and won't give you a secure future. Of course some weirdos manipulate their daughters to go looking for a cash cow, who will let funds go downstream to them, or talk their daughters to sell the bodies for the same reason.

They are looking for a way out of their past hurtful relationships, hoping a foreigner will actually love and take care of them instead of just using them for sex.

What would you know about what any local might think might be considered a hot girl? You, nor anyone else, knows what anyone on earth thinks. And who cares what they think anyway? Most of them are run of the mill, average looking, much the same as everyone else here too. I, in just 6 years here, have seen many hot looking women with foreigners, including my own ex wife, and many plain looking girls with locals also. What you consider a peasant woman might be hot to another man. Just like in every country worldwide, many hot women end up with fat rich businessmen who have never exercised a day in their lives but have money the girls can buy things with. Women are kinda stupid that way. They'll marry someone they don't like having sex with, just to show off gold on the hands and a nice car to drive around in, instead of being with a decent looking, hard working man who's also a father figure. Take money out of the picture, and you would see more legitimate matches.

The ridiculous age of consent of 15, which some start even earlier. One thing that needs to be done here is fathers actually being close to their daughters. This lowers the chance of young girls having sex with useless locals who's only desire is to bed as many clueless girls as possible, and then leave them once they get pregnant, which has the moms thinking they need to go elsewhere to make money, instead of staying home and taking care of their children. The kids get left with grandma, who is usually too old or busy to do an effective job, and without those fathers, the girls end up looking for that perfect missing dad, and have sex with boys who couldn't care less, repeating this cycle for generations.

I have seen many foreigners with very beautiful wives here. My ex, although disturbed, was considered hot and was the best looking girl around our village. Time and diabetes are taking their toll but that happens to the best. Before I moved here, there was a Thai restaurant I used to go to close to my job. They were from Korat. Every once in awhile I would see Thai women with their husbands and many of them were very pretty. One in particular was with an average looking older man, and their daughter, maybe in his 60's. She was beautiful in every way. A 10, so that also throws your reply out the window.

A lot of women end up there being forced by disturbed parents looking for cash. Women feel a responsibility to their parents here, and that sometimes means degrading yourself. Some are forced into the trade. Some are into a drug habit they can't quit. I'm not into this scene, but I feel for some of them. They aren't ugly unless they are the ones who are the evil ones, using their trade to scam customers into robbery or assault. Yes, most of them have a mental issue, but most of the time they were hurt as children and became that way.

There are of course women who will trap a man with sex in order to get security, and then give less, or begrudgingly, after awhile. These are usually damaged goods. Women who don't like sex for a few reasons, three of which are prior molestation, abuse or depression. A woman, who comes from a secure background and childhood, who is listened to and loved and cared for right will usually be happy to have sex with her mate throughout the marriage, even if she gets angry at him sometimes.

A few thousand, mostly psychiatric patients, are about all of Thailand's homeless problem. One city in America has more than that. There's still an underlying cause, wrong thinking, that gets women into selling their bodies. Low self esteem from not being treated right is a usual startup. It's not that it's just another job, it's demeaning yourself to do something reserved for people who love and care about each other and to get paid for it.

There are plenty of jobs available in Thailand for those that need work. Selling your body for sex isn't necessary, and only comes from a wrong way of thinking, which usually comes from abuse or neglect. Or being forced by disturbed relatives. The ladies prefer anyone who can take care of them without cheating, abuse or being drunk all the time. If this occurs in a local, that's what they'll go for. The problem is, this being a country high in gossiping, word gets around that most Thai men cheat, and a foreigner is a better bet both as a loyal partner and one who will provide, as most make more than the average local ever will. Hi-so's stick with Hi-so's usually anyway, so that leaves the majority of women, who are just getting by or a little better. What Thai women still don't understand, is that a lot of foreigners are cheaters and abusers, and this they'll learn after awhile living with them. An old, shriveled up alcoholic expat with 35K a month is still a better provider than many, and being an alcoholic also matches a lot of locals, as a boring country has to have a pastime to keep people occupied. Women can be happy as long as they come home to someone who's loyal and has enough to get them by better than they were doing beforehand.

Despised might have been a strong word but from what I've been told and seen, it's close. I've never looked at wealth as anything besides corruption and greed, using others or damaging the planet for profit. This of course leaves out the lottery winners and those that actually use their wealth for good, along with some that have made money with a great idea. A lot of people don't understand that a lot of super wealthy families, and world leaders, got that way by killing others or cheating them out of their land. Preying on them when they were in need and taking advantage of them because of it. There are American families that are well respected who had ancestors who started out with 160 acres of land, which is what a lot of land grab got them, then turned that into over a million acres by ridding themselves of neighbors by those before mentioned actions. Texas has quite a few of them. This is before the oil was discovered or cattle were such a huge market. I'm a believer and see that most people who are good don't necessarily have good lives., and a lot are preyed on by those that couldn't care less if there was a God or not.

Men who are Christians and go with prostitutes are actually hypocrites if they say anything nasty about them. Yes, they are Johns. Women who go into prostitution, subtracting the ones forced by human trafficking, have a thinking problem, usually coming from being abused as children, having an immoral mom or dad, or both, or not having a father or good male role model in their lives. Making more money selling your body is never positive thing, no matter what they make, because it comes at a cost. To their psyche, to their kids, and to anyone associated with them, meaning how they are looked at. They might buy land, houses and cars, but behind their basks, they are despised. .

Western men average a bit taller than Thai males, but there are plenty of Thai males that are equal to the western average of 5'8"-5'10". We are certainly bigger, but most of that is from fat (not me lol), and Thais, although usually on the thin side, are not carrying that layer of fat like most western males are. Attraction means just that. Some women like fat males, but most like a muscular man, like a swimmers body. As far as handsome, although I see most Asians looking quite similar in features, there are handsome males in every country, and no country has the top position on this. Western men usually have more money, especially if you leave out the hi-so's that don't work but cheat their way through life by moving money around, are involved in illegal activities,destroy the planet by development, are into corruption or other things not so positive, and having more money is attractive to Thai women, especially if they are poor, but if they are independent, they usually prefer their own, meaning other Thais. Thai women that are the regular everyday type, meaning they work average jobs, live at home, have a kid(s), are single because of being aware of how locals treat women here, live in the country,etc, will look at western men because they see how their peers have been treated by the average Thai male, which isn't too swift. I'm leaving out farmers because farmers that are with farmers are usually okay with their lifestyle if that's all they want. Buddhism looks at women as inferior, and that translates to treating women as secondary, a somewhat slaves, to clean, cook, take care of the kids and give them sex. If the man is loyal, they'll be okay with this, but as happens so much here, where the males leave after sex, and especially after a baby is born, a lot are tired of living this way, and seeing their peers doing the same, they hear that a western man will treat them better, which is usually true but not always, because there are some bad men everywhere. Some Thai men might not like to see us with their women, especially the prettier ones, but that's plain insecurity, and isn't just a Thai thing. Men here are promiscuous because the court system lets them get way with not paying child support, although it is supposed to be added when a child is born. Thai men usually won't go with a Thai women after they've had kids with anyone, western or not, unless they can get sex, because they don't care, knowing they'll be gone soon anyway.

That's skinny. There is no "normal". Everyone has preferences. A woman doesn't have to be muscular but curves, meaning a shapely woman, is a sexier, mature look, and not a thin, bony girl who's never exercised. This girl is attractive, although I prefer a woman with more "meat", but if she doesn't get into resistance exercise eventually, she will lose whatever muscle she does have, which isn't much, and either gain fat, which will make her look worse, or get thinner, which won't be good for her health and a bony woman is not attractive.

Although attractive, she's still skinny, and when she gets older, she will either put on weight and look better,especially if she exercises, or lose weight and look worse.

And looked down on from prejudice and jealousy, one of the main reasons I'm moving myself and my daughter from here. Girls do not do well here, and part of that is from the Buddhist belief that women are inferior. They aren't, and those that think they are, are inferior.

Weight training makes muscles harder. Fat over the top of muscles can always be lost, but if you don't train with resistance of some kind you won't have a good shape, or maintain it. In the gyms for 50 years, I see most of the people that go are overweight, which is why they are there, but many if not most don't realize what you look like is 75% diet and 25% training. Staying out of the sun is mandatory if you want to look younger longer. Here, they are in the sun all their lives if they are rural, and that makes the skin look old. My ex's mom is a few months younger than I am, but looks 20 years older because of that, along with a diet too high in rice, which doesn't help her diabetes.

I have been saying that all along. I said things are getting worse here, and they have been for years. It has nothing to do with being in the gym business as I see women every day, for 62 years in the US, and here for over 6. Women here after 50 look older than women over 50 in the US. They weigh less, but look older. I mentioned reasons for this. Women on average are slimmer here, for now.

40 kilos is tiny, and anorexic looking. A normal women above 5'2" should weigh from 110-120 lbs . We aren't talking about teenagers here but mature women in the 25 and above range. Meaning 50 kg is normal.

I've been in the gym business for over 50 years, training and training others, and have seen what's in and out of the gyms all that time, and know all about obesity percentages worldwide. It's like I said. Things have been changing here for the worse for decades, and obesity here will rival a lot of western countries for those reasons I made. The average Thai woman might be, for now, a tad smaller than western women, but it's changing . The only reason more aren't fat here is the lack of money for good food, but as that increases, so will the dress sizes. There are many more farmers here than in western countries, which mean more are doing daily farm work with that less food intake. I observe because that's my thing, being in shape, and it's what I've been seeing since I've been here. Most Thais are gaining weight, especially after their young bodies begin to age. The same things happen in the west, but again, more gym memberships, more money and more knowledge of diet gives them a better chance of staying thinner. This means things here are approaching what's wrong back home, and will continue indefinitely. People love to eat, but most do not know or care what they are eating and how it affects their bodies. The longer I live here, the more fat women and men I see, especially after 50 but even younger, because most people again, do not know or care about what they are eating. I lived in the US 62 years, and daily saw women in the 50's that still look good. Of course more were fat. Women aren't looking like men because they get fatter. They just look like fatter women. Thai women age rapidly after 50, much more than western women because of the sun and harder lives here. Western women have to their advantage more knowledge of skin care products and are more likely to use them at that age than those after 50 here. Yes, more Thai women are slimmer . for now, than western women, but again, that's changing daily.
