  1. Gang violence isn't random, but it is the most prevalent of homicides. There is a lot more random violence here than most anywhere else, especially in the US. Poor countries breed poverty, which means some will do anything for money. Foreigners are attacked here every week. You only hear of some of them. The Philippines has more terrorism than Thailand, so that's much of the violence. There are less robberies here than in the US, but violent gun crime matches it there. Most crime here is Thai against Thai of course, and it also is a lot higher than you'd think. There is more TV coverage in the US than here, so most of what happens here, being local, won't make it to the new stations, unlike in the US where violence is top billing. News here involves snakes in homes, gold store being robbed by people on scooters, traffic accidents and deaths, and things that would never make the news elsewhere. There are many gangs here, and much of what happens within them you'll never hear about. Domestic violence is high everywhere, as is bad parenting, which breeds it.
  2. You, like a lot of others, don't read but skim a person's post, then add your opinion. You obviously haven't a clue about what women need, and i did say need and not want. What is simple is that is a fact. Sex has very little to do with maintaining a relationship but more that sex will happen more if a woman's needs are being met. People cheat although they are getting sex from their partners because they, if they aren't a narcissist that feels they have to conquer and control, are missing something. With a woman this usually equates to a man knowing how to listen to her without making judgements or giving any unwanted advice. With a man, if he is appreciated for taking care of the family, he will continue to give. If both partners are the same as far as treating each other with respect, love, romance, loyalty and protection, sex will happen. I don't go by theories but with what works. I have always had plenty of sex with all of the woman I've been involved with, including my ex wives and now girlfriend. The few things that stop sex happening, if depression is not involved, are anger from not communicating effectively, not being able to meet financial needs, and arguing over them instead of making a plan, looking to others for emotional needs, not putting each other first above all others, and not making one on one time for each other. This is all about communication. You can be the best lover in the world and a woman will not be happy making love with you unless she is heard. A few times, especially in the beginning of a relationship, things are exciting, but after awhile, sex becomes a little routine, unless you add excitement to it by continually using those things a woman needs, plus bringing her to a different place to be together alone,, romancing her throughout the relationship, adding excitement by doing different things. Again, communication is how people stay close. Sex doesn't keep people close if the other things aren't there. Women can fake things very well if they feel not being heard, just to keep the peace. It is not near that simple as you say. People leave for all kinds of reasons, but women rarely will leave a good man even if he's not Don Juan. Happens all the time. But it's because he isn't listening to her. Players get laid all the time, much of the time with married women, because the woman's husband isn't fulfilling her needs for good communication. The woman, being kinda stupid, goes looking for someone to listen to her, and that's all a player needs to do to get sex . Problem is, the player never stays, the woman cheapens herself with a pig, and her marriage is doomed, all because they didn't know how to talk to each other. That's the simple part. Nothing to do with being a good lover. There are untold thousands of nasty, rotten men who aren't good lovers that women will stay with for one reason. Money.
  3. Sure am. Picking the wrong partners happens to almost everyone, until the right match is found. Takes two like minded, communicative, honest, faithful, loving and respectful partners to make a marriage work. Many people come from homes where their parents damaged their thinking, leading to future problems in relationships.
  4. Treating a woman mean is the mark of a narcissist, looking for their own pleasure. Look it up. I've been through a few divorces because I picked damaged goods. Women who were not raised with love but abuse and neglect, who didn't know how to relate to a normal, loving relationship and who sabotaged it because they couldn't let themselves be treated right, it not being what they saw as children. One, the one here I had a child with, kidnapped our child 4 times and I had to divorce here to get my child returned. She hit me because she was mad at her mother and couldn't take that anger out on her, heaven forbid. She to this day wants us back together, although when trust is gone, and I can't trust a partner, I don't go back. My first marriage was much the same, and I divorced her for much the same reasons, and I got custody of our 3 children. The middle one was hooked on pain killers, and it wrecked her thinking. Her doctors over prescribed her and eventually she died from it. I treat women very well. What I fell in love with was my problem. Other relationships I've had were fine, we usually broke up because of different future plans. The one I'm in now is good. Something to read about absent dads.............https://www.bps.org.uk/psychologist/absent-fathers-and-sexual-strategies
  5. Exactly. Like I mentioned earlier, this is one main reason I will take my daughter from here, as I don't want to have to retaliate if someone touches her, because it won't end well for them.
  6. Girls become promiscuous because of absent fathers, no one teaching them their own value by loving them for who they are, whereas boys love them for what they are given. When a girl doesn't have a father that talks to them, protects them and teaches them they are worthy of being loved, they look for that missing perfect father and go from one man to another seeking out the impossible. Men who look at women as objects are narcissists that think everyone owes them something, including women. they learn from their parent(s) abuse, neglect or spoiling, thinking the world owes them for what they went through, and if their mother was overbearing or abusive, they grow up hating females and use them at every opportunity. Christian women ,meaning some, might be promiscuous, but for the reasons before, and not because they are Christian. Women from all religions can be promiscuous or not. Depends on their childhood. If a man loves a woman, he gives out pleasure equally as he receives, no matter what he knows or not. A woman becomes more willing if she is loved, listened to, and looked at as a partner and not an object. Romance should happen all the time, not just when a man wants sex, and if so, a woman will give you all you need. Books teach a lot, but a person has to be a giver first. I don't miss anything in what I give, because I'm whats known as an empath.
  7. I don't make anything up but I do read, for 30 plus years now, all I can about human psychology, child rearing, human interactions, basically psychology and how people relate to each other, and react to each other in all types of situations. Your dad teaching you how to do things to young girls is what's bizarre. At 15, you're too young to be doing anything to a girl at 15, no matter what disturbed consent law says at that age. A father's job is to teach their sons respect for girls and women, by example of how he treats his wife, their mother and not to use but look at them as equals, someone you can date, have a relationship with, become close to, and not for his own pleasure to be tossed aside when he gets "bored" with them, because they are people and not objects. Truth is, if a father is actually present, many don't treat their wives well, and this is the sons role model where he learns how to be a "man", and if he's not present, the boys look to their peers how to relate to girls, and this is usually the wrong ways. Ever wonder why so many young girls get pregnant, by boys who are not going to help out if a baby is born, and will just go on to another clueless girl? It's that attitude, to use all the girls you can to try and prove your "manhood", something that goes on into their adult lives, continuing to use, thinking women are objects for their pleasure, which they aren't. When a woman is looked at as inferior, which they aren't, it gives men the idea they can use, abuse and throw them aside, as they do in countries like this one where Buddhism and Islam are practiced. Of course you think it's rubbish if you come from a history where you were taught, while still a child, that girls were to be deceived for your pleasure. I didn't place my comment about absent minded fathers for those just going to international schools but to all schools here.
  8. I'm teaching my almost 8 year old daughter much the same way. She has told me some of the kids, although she does have a few friends in our village school, have hit her and called her names, prejudiced ones. I told her if anyone hits her, you hit them back, hard. Seems some other half Thai kids here get the same treatment, something taught by their ignorant parents. Another reason why she will be growing up in Texas asap.
  9. Besides the food and typhoons, you just described Thailand, with the exception also, although Thailand is in the top 10 in violent crime, Myanmar is at the top now. Some areas of the Philippines, like all countries, have more violent crime than average., but it's localized.
  10. At 15 boy should know, and have been taught, respect and off limits behavior, by their DADS. This country has about as high absent dads than any other place on earth, and this is why many aren't being taught respect for women. Buddhism also teaches them that girls, and women, are inferior, which tells them they can do anything they want to them. These boys deserve charges, expulsion and a record, nothing less. Hitting your son after he does this will not solve the problem because this is sexual abuse and control, and that's ingrained behavior that needs professional help.
  11. This is, and has been happening weekly all over Thailand for a very long time, both by other students and by teachers, and much of the time nothing or very little is being done to punish those involved, which means less girls will be willing to come forward and name their predators, so this will continue to escalate, because if nothing's done, predators will continue to prey. First of all, believe your daughter what she is saying, and stand by her side. Your daughter should be removed immediately, and the international police should be made to file charges also immediately. Forget local police as they'll do nothing. I know what I would do if this happened to my daughter, and this is reason one why I will leave this country with my daughter as soon as I can arrange moving back to Texas with her. You can google a hundred links about this problem. This is but one...............https://thethaiger.com/news/national/thai-organisations-demand-stronger-action-against-sexual-harassment-in-education
  12. In April, two monks and two novices were accused of hunting wild animals in the Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary in the Isaan province of Chaiyaphum. The five monks and novices were accused of participating in a hunting expedition and entering the sanctuary specifically for this purpose. However, all the accused priests denied the charges, insisting that they did not bring any weapons into the forest. They admitted to bringing some animal carcasses out of the forest but claimed it was to perform a merit-making ceremony for the animals’ souls........................................... No weapons but animal carcasses were brought out of the forest? Is Muay Thai that deadly?
  13. If one doesn't leave the comfort of their moo ban,and travel to different poverty stricken countries, one doesn't begin to understand what millions of other people go through besides what we see on the news, which doesn't come close to what's actually out there. There are thousands of people living in the US that go without food daily, something the locals here cannot fathom.
  14. If he has the Star Trek transporter, he should at least share.
  15. Actually not too far off. This from 2022.........https://blogs.worldbank.org/en/developmenttalk/half-global-population-lives-less-us685-person-day
  16. Am I missing something here, as you recently said you just got back from Manila? Does 7 weeks on and off in Pattaya include being in the Philippines? Will next week bring us a post, "Returning from Pakistan where I spent a month learning the local cooking"?
  17. Why makes you think you know what others notice? How can you assume that most others don't hear about the amount of violence and how do you know what's suppressed by the legacy media organizations? Old news. I get my info online from many sources. Do you just make guesses or believe opinions from other armchair quarterbacks? And the news here does get to the US daily, by all Americans that live here and have family back home, including yours truly. You actually think your assumptions are correct and think what I say is wrong, and post a link or video trying to prove your point. Not understanding, again, that the news here doesn't come close to matching what's on TV daily back there. Quite an imagination you have there. I'm thinking I can guess what side you're on if you've ever lived in the US.
  18. Where does one get the idea I said the US doesn't have the violence Thailand does? It always amazes me how some can twist things around to serve their ego, somehow turning what one says into another thing entirely. I lived in the US 62 years, in and around major cities, and know as much as anyone what goes on there. I sold guns for years, had many policemen as friends and customers, who told their own tales. I think I'm quite aware of what goes on as I make it a point to keep up on world news daily. You, and a few others here, base their arguments on a few youtube videos and think they know all of what happens in a country they've never stepped outside in, or maybe never even visited. You come off thinking you somehow know others here, like a few here that like to skim through someone's post and make assumptions based on a few words, albeit twisted around because you can't quite comprehend what we say, to suit your own narrative. Before you reply, or post, try and read with more understanding of what another says, because it seems you're quite confused about what does happen in the US, thinking random violence somehow matches the cowardly acts done here. Yes, innocent people do get attacked everywhere on earth, but this country has a certain flair for groups attacking others 5 or more to 1. This does not happen in the US like it does here. The culture here has a higher percentage of absent fathers who aren't made responsible for paying for the children they make. Back home you don't pay, you go to jail, as my ex did because she didn't keep up with her support payments to me. Absent fathers can't teach their boys to fight fair, so they learn how from other boys in the same type of situation. The US has many gangs, and this accounts for most of the murders happening there, along with suicides adding to the gun deaths. Thailand has gangs also, acting in the same violent manner. Before you post, try and understand what others are saying. And don't assume we don't know what's going on in our countries of origin. And try to understand that only a tiny percentage of what goes on here makes the news, whereas in the US there are hundreds of more TV stations reporting things all day long.
  19. That's what I said. Look at others comments on your postings. A few don't like what you've said either.
  20. This is what I mean by skimming. I never said anything about anyone in a coma.
