Tommy Robinson: Cenotaph clashes could mark return of far-right figure
James105 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
The pro-Hamas demonstrations are likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress to Jewish people in London. Are you therefore in support of the police pepper spraying and arresting anyone peacefully participating in those marches on the same basis that you support Tommy Robinson being arrested? Or would you prefer the laws to continue to be applied differently depending on the political views of the person involved? -
Tommy Robinson: Cenotaph clashes could mark return of far-right figure
James105 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
It's a shame that the police (for far too long) were only bothered by white pedophiles and not the brown ones. If they had listened to the victims (instead of blaming the victims) of the muslim grooming gangs then perhaps they could have prevented thousands of rapes from happening to these children. If they had done their jobs the likes of Tommy Robinson would not feel the need to highlight this. Maybe the police could have nipped it in the bud early on, which in turn would have prevented you from being triggered whenever you hear his name, as no doubt what he says is yet another uncomfortable truth that you would prefer to pretend is not happening in the imagined utopia you reside in where every culture is wonderful, and every immigrant to the UK is a doctor, scientist or engineer making a significant contribution to the country. The police were simply too afraid of being called racist and this prevented them from doing their jobs properly. The racists were actually the perpetrators of these rapes who were targeting the white girls as they see them as "trash" and "worthless" for their crime of being white. Tommy Robinson probably feels he can safely let the police do their jobs when it comes to white pedophiles as they do not have a history of ignoring this or blaming the victims in this case, whereas there is clear evidence that they did not do their jobs when it came to the scandal of the muslim grooming gangs. I would prefer a world without Tommy Robinson or his ilk needing to say these things, but until people are ready to have adult conversations about the epic failures of multiculturalism in the UK there will likely be more "Tommy Robinsons" in the future. -
Apparently this is satire, but it is hard to tell nowadays...

Tommy Robinson: Cenotaph clashes could mark return of far-right figure
James105 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Once again. Being anti-islam is not racism. There is no blasphemy law in the UK no matter how much you would like there to be so it is perfectly legal (and not racist) to be anti-Islam, no matter what your groupthink tells you to think and propagate on this matter. -

Why are you "deadnaming" him? I thought leftists were opposed to that sort of thing? I know you get your opinions from groupthink and leftist rags as it's pretty clear that you need to be told what your opinion should be on the <insert bandwagon here>, which is why you resort to trite phrases such as "educate yourself". -
Tommy Robinson: Cenotaph clashes could mark return of far-right figure

"I think if people actively tried to seek out what he has done that is supposedly racist, they will find very little evidence of him actually being so, but that requires some kind of effort and it is much easier for people to be told what to think about someone rather than forming an opinion of their own." Like I said, it is much too difficult for some to have an opinion of their own, especially amongst those who use the phrase "educate yourself" which is just a phrase that is used by people who are not able to provide an argument to back up what they have said and are hopeful that by using it that it ends all debate on the matter. Being anti-Islam is no more racist than being anti-Scientology. -
Telling the truth is against the ministerial code? Why is that? Everyone can see with their own eyes the police force is more of an "appease force" when it comes to matters of Islam, BLM etc and only acts like a police force when someone is saying hurty words on Twitter that goes against their leftist political views. The police have not been doing their jobs over the last 4 weeks, allowing hate filled marches on the streets which has been causing Jewish people to not be able to leave their homes as they know all too well that the police will not protect them if/when they are assaulted/killed on one of the "largely peaceful" hate marches. If a politician breaks the "ministerial code" for stating facts in a newspaper article (however uncomfortable those facts may be), then it is clearly not the politician that is the problem here. Considering Sunak was not elected by party members, nor does he have support of the British public either (according to polls) I'd suggest he is failing at the job he should be doing, and I still remain befuddled at how he managed to worm his way into it.

Tommy Robinson: Cenotaph clashes could mark return of far-right figure
James105 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Tommy Robinson is very clearly anti-Islam, which is an ideology and not something you can be racist against. As far as I can make out, in comparison to the barbarians that raped and murdered hundreds of Jews for the crime of being Jewish, he is not quite in the same ballpark as his crimes seem to be quite minor in lying to the bank about a mortgage and a bit of minor thuggery when he was younger. I'm sure when the religion of peace actually becomes a religion of peace and dare I say reforms itself, even the likes of Tommy Robinson will cease to be anti-Islam, in much the same way that he is not anti-Buddhism, or anti-Hindu or anti any other religion. I think if people actively tried to seek out what he has done that is supposedly racist, they will find very little evidence of him actually being so, but that requires some kind of effort and it is much easier for people to be told what to think about someone rather than forming an opinion of their own. Does he have the eloquence of someone like Douglas Murray who sings from the same song sheet? No, of course not. But there is not really much difference between them. -
The Met Police WON'T ban Poppy Day pro-Palestine rally
James105 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
The "actual" right wing extremists have heard your whistles and will show up on Saturday in support of your cause. How does it feel to have Nick Griffen in your corner? Must feel pretty good eh? He will be very pleased that he will be able to join his fellow bigots on an anti-Jewish hate march without the usual vitriol that comes his way. -
Yes indeed, just because Hamas burned families alive, tortured and mutilated children, raped women and paraded their lifeless bodies on the back of their trucks does not mean also that they are the kind of animals that would falsify data on a spreadsheet to garner sympathy from the world's useful idiots to their murderous cause.

Rape claims against Tory MP were not covered up, says deputy PM
James105 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Really? Have they changed the law now so that those being accused have the same right to anonymity as the accuser? I don't recall Russell Brand being given the same legal courtesy here. Has the chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee popped up to demand her colleague be cancelled based on mere accusations or is it better to keep him there as a puppet with this kind of leverage hanging over his head? -
Entertainment Venues to Open Until 4 AM Starting December 15
James105 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Selling alcohol outside of an arbitrary time period that even if enforced does not actually prevent people from drinking at those times if they have stocked up prior is not really equivalent to murder now is it? Stupid and pointless laws are broken every single day by vast numbers of people and if they are not enforced, they should not really be laws. The drinking between 2-5pm is a fine example of a pointless, unenforced law that should be taken off the books so that those that do have to abide by this stupid law are not penalised for doing so. -

What is it with Thailand and their obsession with micro managing opening hours for places that sell alcohol. I don't care about drinking after midnight normally, but for certain sporting events I do like the be in the pub. The last world cup was such a kick in the teeth for any bar owners who were not allowed to open when the majority of games were being played, especially so as they were the sacrificial lambs for the global covid overreaction. Just let bars/nightclubs that are not near residential areas open whenever they want, and ensure venues near to residential areas close at midnight. This does not need to be so difficult. Also remove the stupid 2-5pm or whatever it is restriction as well as the only stores that abide by it is 7/11 and the chain supermarkets so it is completely pointless.- 53 replies

There is nothing irrational about a fear of Islamic terrorism, which is why that word never makes any sense to me. I suspect the 230 innocent hostages being held by Hamas and probably being raped and tortured as I write this would have a fear of their Islamic captors. Would that fear be Islamaphobic or a perfectly rational fear given their circumstances in your opinion? Maybe one day when the religion of peace actually becomes a religion of peace that word would be appropriate, but as of today it is not.

Thats a very leftist attitude to attack the messenger rather than accept the uncomfortable facts listed in that article, which leads to much burying of heads in sand which in turn leads to having trouble understanding why Isreal needs to do what it needs to do to defend its citizens from further atrocities by the monsters on its doorstep.

Any Israelis still alive who were responsible for whatever happened in 1895 then I absolutely agree they should apologise. If they are all dead then the people alive today are not any more responsible than I am for whatever my great, great, great grandparents did during that period. Isreal already tried giving Palestinians support to turn Gaza into a prosperous state, but citizens of Gaza chose hate instead.

What is not just an "apparently" is the stated aims of Hamas. Let me repeat them for you from the hamas charter just so you are aware of the cause you are supporting. The original, 1988 version of the charter emphasize four main themes: Destroying Israel and establishing an Islamic theocracy in Palestine is essential; Unrestrained jihad is necessary to achieve this; Negotiated resolutions of Jewish and Palestinian claims to the land are unacceptable; Historical anti-semitic tropes that reinforce the goals. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamas_Charter#:~:text=The documents promote holy war, goal of completely eliminating Israel.

Let's hope she was already dead by that point. One can only imagine the horrors inflicted by Hamas on her if she did indeed live past that point.

Sadly when kids are used as meat shields and their deaths are used as propaganda for useful idiots to propagate, this will continue. If Hamas cared about their kids they would: 1. Release all the innocent civilian hostages immediately. 2. Surrender all the terrorists that killed innocents on 7 Oct so they can face justice for their monstrous atrocities. The ball is in the Hamas court and only they can put a stop to this. Isreal have a right to defend themselves from these animals committing future attacks and unless they surrender then the only way to do this is with the use of force.

This is exactly my point! You didn't even need to go back that far to find an example (just 12 years), and despite Norway's tough gun laws a determined lunatic was able to thwart them! Obviously since Norway made guns so difficult to obtain there was a lack of "good guys" with guns that could have put a stop to his murderous antics and I've no doubt over the last 12 years of zero massacres the citizens of Norway are in a constant state of terror due to the lack of good guys with guns and are probably too terrified to leave their homes. They obviously have a lot to learn from the USA who continue to (coincidentally I am sure and nothing to do with guns) face these gun massacres on such a regular basis.
-
It's so weird how this keeps happening in a country where guns like this are so freely available, yet doesn't happen in similar countries where guns are not so freely available. I just cannot put my finger on why this might be. If this guy happened to be in the UK or Australia and wanted to go on a murderous rampage then he obviously would have just used his car to enter the bowling alley (somehow) and kill 22 people, or perhaps used a very big kitchen knife to kill 22 people whilst they just stood there patiently waiting to be killed (rather than running away), so let us not pretend that the semi automatic AR-15 killing machine that happened to be used in this case is to blame here.

If Hamas fires rockets from the buildings where civilians live then that is a legal and legitimate target for Isreal to strike. If Isreal also give warnings to those living in the buildings that they are about to strike there (so they can evacuate) in order to take out the rockets being fired at them from that building, who do you think is more to blame for these casualties? Isreal or Hamas? Hamas could end this right now by turning themselves in to face justice for the murderous, barbaric atrocities they committed and return all the hostages. It's within their power to prevent any more civilian losses in Palestine, and if they cared even one iota for the people who live there then that is what they could do.
