When I'm back home, I will make a post to describe step by step how to make the non O (based on marriage) e visa and the trip. Maybe it will help others like me if there are.

For some reason it didn't work for me. I reload few times and impossible to type anything there. Anyway I passed, the officer was nice and enter my address. Got my visa yeaaah

I mean impossible to fill it, it stays gray. I completed like this, will ask if they ask, my address notification is done already so I suppose it won't be a problem. I will have to notify again in 2 months to make my visa extension.

At the border now. A very nice lady at the copy shop on the Laos border helped me to find another shop to print my visa, took me time to understand that she didn't have computer to connect to the printer. Now I'm trying to fill the tdac but impossible to fill the part where I enter my Thai address, just after "I'm a transit passenger" can't check this too

Oh that's great, I'm filling the application now, they are asking the country of residence, can I put my residence in Thailande with my Thai number? As I don't have number in my country.

They said 3 days in advance, does that mean within 3 days or have to wait 3 days?

Nowhere to print where I am in Vientiane, asked to many shops but seems they have at the border. I'm in the bus to the bridge now, thanks to remind me for the digital arrival card, completely forgot.

Good new I got my visa! Very happy. Do I still have time to cross the border, it's 13:30 border close at 22:00 but is it different when you have a printed visa?

So I'm going to finalize the application. I still have few doubts: - Should every pages of the passport merge into one? -For the location, is hotel ticket + Laos visa page enough - is tabien ban required to be attached to wife ID (I did it in case) passport I suppose is if there is no ID but I don't see how a Thai national would not have ID unless family include non Thai resident, maybe different options -Marriage certificate, kor ror 3 with new passport, apparently not necessary and maybe not possible to change. - Does it matter if the documents are scans or pictures. - About the bus number, is that the big number written on the bus? Or the bus ticket?

That's not what they said but doesn't matter now, I guess they don't always catch up with the regular updates. I'm currently in Laos, they didn't wanted let me enter without proving that I was coming to make a non O. It was a bit stressful but everything ok so far. Now I'm applying and realized that they let my old passport number on my Kor ror 2 updated, so my wife is going to the Amphoe to rectify this and send me the picture.

Thank you for your answer, well said, I found a kasikorn bank near the border on the map, and I need to exchange bahts to dollars. Relying on luck is very stressful for me, I prefer to maximize my chances. The whole process stress me but apparently others went through it without any pain.

Ok one more.thing cleared, thank you. About the 400 k, my statement is from 26 Aug to 25 November, is that ok or should I make another statement tomorrow morning? Immigration in Ratchaburi told us that I have to show one day only for the single entry initial visa and 2 months for the extension.

Regarding the proof of current location, I found this on Google, do they mean the location in Laos or where living in Thailand? What do they want exactly?

Thank you so much for this answer, I would have learn the hard way otherwise. I scanned all the documents, I don't have time to merge the files with the computer at home so I will do it on the way to Laos, 13 hours in bus should be enough time. If you get rejected do they inform you by email and mention which documents are missing? Also I received the 400 k on 26 August, so 3 months will be tomorrow but I made the statement today, one letter to say I have 400k right now and another document that show when the money was received.

I just filled the e-visa and there is no application form required (I suppose that the application is the online process) and you can't submit multiple documents. I don't see where to submit the Tabien Ban ( I thought it was required) They don't seem to require the same things than on the requirement list of Vientiane Thai embassy. Regarding the Document indicating current location, is that the Laos visa? or just a map of the hotel? I don't see where to submit the Laos visa page

Hi everyone, I plan to go to Vientiane on 26 November to get non O visa single entry based on marriage, I have 400k seasoned for 3 months already, I'm currently on visit my wife after tourist (visa exempt), I would like to check if I understand well the requirements. - Application form - 400 k seasoned for 3 months, update of the book bank or bank statement? how recent it has to be? few days? - Ko Ro 2 & 3 original for 3 and update copy from Amphoe for 2? - Passport with Laos visa page - Wife signed ID card - Wife's tabien ban - Passport sized photos Is there anything else? do I need pictures of the family in every room of the house? Regarding the E-visa, is it possible to apply before or do I have to wait to get the Laos visa to prove I'm in Laos? Once the visa application has been approved, they contact you by email and then you pay and give your passport? do you have to wait again or they do the visa immediately?
