  1. Really my post is not at all about hotels, it is about the transportation to the pier after 9 pm. I don't see the point in answering a question that is not asked. This hotels thing come from a guy that didn't have an answer but still wanted to say something and asked what I was going to do at the pier at night which is not his business or relevant to the question. These peoples who have no answers but need to say something are spoiling many topics.
  2. if there is no mini van or bus at this time, I'm thinking about using Bolt, should be around 700 bahts, is that correct? I saw some hotel around the pier and I can walk few km if necessary, no problem for this, I can even just wait there, I plan to take the earliest ferry.
  3. And if there is other options
  4. I checked already but I read on a Reddit post about someone finding mini van after the official time so I would like if it's common
  5. Hi everyone, I booked a flight that will arrive at Surat Thani airport on 24 January at 8:30 pm. I would like to save time and take the ferry early the next day. Is there still bus or mini van after 9 pm at the airport going to Donsak pier or near?
  6. so do I have to return my work permit?
  7. now that I'm on visa exemption, does it mean that I have to return my work permit and stop to work until I get my Non O?
  8. Agency: Thai visa service (TVS) in Pattaya Price: 4000 + 2500 (because I'm on Non O) Border: Ban Pakkad
  9. Thank you very much. I will do the visa exempt extension in Rayong then I will move (TM30) to Ratchaburi where my wife and my kids are living now. It will be easier to make my non O there. For the visit I will explain that I work and come back the week end.
  10. Just passed the border, went smoothly, got 60 days. All these extensions are done at my local immigration? Thanks, I will follow the steps from your last answer.
  11. So what about the 2500 for being on Non O? Anyone knows about this? After this I can still do 60 days to visit my wife? I will try to get 400 000 but I need 2 months, maybe extension 1 month, then get out of Thailand, like Savannakhet to make a new Non O.
  12. They want 6,500 bahts. 2,500 more because my Visa is non O and not tourist
  13. Rayong immigration office
  14. But by land it would have been a problem right?
  15. My stamp is moved, I can cross by land tomorrow
  16. They failed to move my stamp in Pattaya immigration. Maybe I have to do it myself at Rayong where I live? They told me to use a flight but it would be the same problem no?
  17. Thank you so much for your advises, let see what the agency offer tomorrow. If I'm stuck in Cambodge or Laos I could still use this services to be able to flight back to Thailand. That's a very good option B. Feel better now.
  18. @Rob BrowderThank you very much for your answer. I'm going to check the link. So I should not panic that much, there is always a solution. The 2000-3500 bahts would be a fee given to the officer at the airport? Mean they would ask me to step aside then I would need to plead my case?
  19. I asked them but they say they don't do this for flight. There is still flight available, I can book at the last minute. I can try by land and of rejected try to come back by flight. Would paying the officer a fee be a possibility? With explanation given. Also the agency may have option but the tourist visa look quite shady, I don't understand how they would do this, at worse I can do this and then go to Savannaket to get a non O, with proof of fund and everything. Agency said it would cost me 2500 on the top of the 4000 for the trip. Tomorrow I will see their answer and could ask another agency too, maybe they have better contact at the border.
  20. So that's not an option right now. It could be one if the non O extension is not possible anymore, depending of my border run. Regarding the funds do they require it for single entry? Any update here?
  21. The agency yesterday said that maybe I should use a flight but someone said in this thread that it would be even less likely to pass by flight. Dr Jack do you think I have more chance by flight or by land?
  22. Oh they say up to 14 days in advance, on their website
  23. How long does it takes usually, how many days before?
  24. Yes doesn't make sense to me too but that's what they told me, let see what they say tomorrow. Maybe they play on my fear to get more money. At this point would it be better to try single entry in Savannaket? Maybe I need another topic if there is no update on the process in Savannaket. Need to book now and do they require proof of fund for single entry?
  25. The agency TVS in Pattaya.
