It has become expensive in Thailand.
10 years ago the price for one implant in Pataya was 26k.
No, it wasn't ???? There were just some clinics that used to advertise the price without a crown. Add on perhaps 15k for the crown. The price hasn't really changed much at all. I paid 40k at Phyathai Sri Racha then. They had the best prices and service. Most of the clinics were missing even an x-ray device and implantologists. They just had a roving implantologist do the work.
The hospital had a resident implantologist/maxillofacial surgeon. Same practitioner can be found at https://web.facebook.com/estebangsaen/
Dr Suwangatte.

Doesn't explain why bell peppers are 159 baht per kg at Makro Cash & Carry and 129 baht per kg at Makro Food Service; 10 kms apart.

"yobs"?? I thought it was only one Irish guy who the security guards said "fell" to the ground. There was an independent witness who told of what happened and would have no reason to lie. Even the police did not believe the security guards version of things. This is my final say.
Good. Don't feed the Troll. He admitted as much earlier.
Now it is clear that the security guard punched a customer in the face. The apologists have either gone quiet or have moved into full racist insult mode. Quality.

If you are driving; park in their car park ???? You'll be in the thick of it.

You'll be okay ???? You at least have some landmarks to help you along.

East of Pattaya is quoted oft enough. Other side of Sukhumit. ????

Sorry i don't carry a compass, it this towards the beach or towards sukhumvit?
Thx
Hmm...
If north is at one end of the beach and south is on the other....where do you imagine east might be? ????
In the soi with Osaka Japanese restaurant. From there, second alley on the left. You'll be spoilt for choice.

yes, that's the issue, i'd say about 2 - 2.5ft.
Your best bet is the sois to the East of Tukcom. There are supply shops, tailors and workshops concentrated in one area.

i tried a 7 Eleven and familymart today and neither had a DTAC sim, anyway AIS have texted me to say my 10mbps 150 a month deal unlimited will continue. If speed continues to be inconsistent I'll have a word
Have a word anyway. They can fix it.

Exactly , I live very high up in the mountain and dtac is non existent up here , the only one that works in my location is True , I am on my 3rd 12 month True sim now.
Thank goodness you have something that works. 5 Mbps is a lot better than nothing. Shame AIS doesn't reach you as they are usually better overall.

Yes, it was made more clear by your recent reply. No issues. Buy and register any SIM using your passport details. That's it.

Buy the SIM and register it and that's it. We don't need to know about WiFi. ????

Ok, thanks, but for the first 30 days?, i can use wifi straight away?,,,just buy the 49 baht sim, put in phone and its ready?
Okay, so you just want to use it to register for a LINE account. You just buy any SIM and let the vendor register it for you or you can do it yourself using the network's instruction.

Its totally dependent on your location , I have a 1 year True Sim at maximum 300 mbps , at my home I am getting 5 mbps , just along the road 1 km away I am getting 180 mbps .
In the location of my home dtac is far worse than True .
I have a 2 sim phone , I did a few speed tests on my dtac sim and its bearly registering at about 1 mbps.
That's why you test with a normal SIM before committing to a long term SIM. But most people are too excited at the relatively low price of the 12 month SIMs to be bothered with that....until they run a speed test after purchasing the long term SIM.

Ok thanks, i actually only need it for use of wifi,,,no calls, no mobile data etc,,,,,,so using wifi, its basically unlimited?, no need yo buy any data add on?
You'll need to add credit to extend it's validity. 12 baht per 30 days at any Boontherm device outside convenience shops. you'll be left with 10 baht of credit per top up.

Have noticed that certain packages are less symmetrical than others. On my 10 Mbps I would get close to 10 down/10 up. 20 Mbps package high teens up and down. Bought a 100 GB full speed package and the upload speeds are abysmal.

Jomtien beach, I bought this dtac sim on Lazada installed last Monday.
Overall improvement over the old 10mbs sim.
Basically, during the day the reception speed oscillates between 10 and 15 but with a sharp drop at each time change.
At night the 20 mbs are almost reached.https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i2928772772-s12885900169.html?urlFlag=true&mp=1
I had good results with DTAC at a Jomtien beach apartment.

I have Fixxy 449. Yesterday speed was bad but just checked and showing 30down and 6up now.
Its been ok but I think now relatively expensive. Year is up in July so will look for something else then.
The Fixxy 449 offer has veered between 10 & 20 Mbps. Perhaps they gave you a free upgrade to 30 Mbps. Try using https://testmy.net for a more accurate speed test.

Hey guys, I have a lot of Dtac time ...... it seems its organised KIMOY ..... I used to recharge for a day or so, works fine, but the latest package of 1000 thb for 90 days... its totally inconsistant, slowing at times I can hardly use simple browser... and I am talking patong and rawai where I have used in same area for 11 years...
really not happy, good topic, I also want better..... report guys...
Talk to DTAC's call centre in the first instance. What phone are you using?
Run a test with an AIS SIM.

Not quite, AIS for several months was consistently 10mbps any time, now it's inconsistent and can be as low as 4mbps, something's changes maybe too many users, anyway I'll sort it either way by Monday
Usually they ask for your location and then refresh the network there. They'll know that you had a consistent 10 Mbps before and fix the issue. Odd that they allegedly stated wait and see ????
-
When the speed consistently drops below the expected; they get an engineer on it. Either fixed the same day or a specific 'fixed by' date is given.
"Wait and see" was not offered ????

Where do you find these packs offered as looking on the AIS site I get this for "unlimited"-
https://www.ais.th/package/en/package_net_non_stop.html
I know TIT but with the prices quoted above why would anybody buy a 20Mbps package for more then they could buy a 30Mbps package.......
Distributed to Independents.
20 Mbps and lower can be applied via USSD code. 30 Mbps from an agent/independent. You'll find the 30 Mbps on Lazada/Shopee.

Ok. According to the article the Irishman hit his head by falling on the floor and not by direct hit from the security guard. that's again according to the article and the so called Australian witnesses. I wasn't creating a story the journalist did. I do accept that you were there and having better knowledge of the events.
I actually spoke to the witness....in English.
Police do not believe the bouncers. What more do you need?

Dental implants,how much?
in Pattaya
Posted
Assuming four implants on top and four on the bottom, I would say ballpark minimum of 360k.
