Police opposed bail but he still gets it! Under the circumstances I can't see his lawyer putting forward that good an argument for granting bail. Maybe the police are being a bit cute, they take the brown envelope, bung the judge or magistrate with a heads up that for the sake of appearances they are going to oppose bail but 'wink, wink' he still gets it!

In Spain its mandatory to wear a mask in pharmacy's. Medical centres and any form of public transport. You wouldn't be allowed to board any public transport without a mask and certainly wouldn't be served in pharmacy. It's a bit confusing when you can walk around an airport without a mask but must wear it on the plane! Unfortunately you do get the occasional 'special' person who believes the rules are for others and not them.

They regularly 'tighten up' on entertainment establishments! They see 'tightening up' as asking for a little more in the brown envelopes. LoS is run on corruption and money will ALWAYS be number 1 that's why things will not change.

Initially I thought, good justice being seen in Thailand, then....8mil fine to be paid whilst doing the 25 years! If he has assets to the value of 8 mil which are handed over to the victim, different story. Or with a clause that if the 8 mil is not paid by family and friends within 8 years the 25 years is jacked up to life without any possibility of pardons etc. Country is a joke.
