After initial rejection due to unclear health insurance doc i've had my second application i'vew now recieved TP.
1st attempt - 48 hours, the rejection was very clear to what was wrong 'unclear insurance doc'.
2nd attempt - 40 hours, TP QR code sent.
I love a moan but tbh i think this TP system is pretty straight forward.

I came to Thailand at 26, been here 22 years.
I work overseas and make good money.
Being here at that age was a blast, best times ever, due to still being relatively young and due to Thailand being a much better vibe 'back then'.
Don't know if i'd like to arrive and try and find my feet as an older gentleman, be a bit of a minefield.

Passes are issued by the ministry dependent on travel dates so if someone has applied weeks in advance they'll have a long delay as others travelling sooner will be prioritised.
Nonsense.
I know someone travelling on the 23rd, applied on the 5th, received TP on the 7th.

Update:
Registered on 1st (used a g-mail account) - Did receive a confirmation e-mail - Logged in to check status and saw ‘The Information is Not Registered’ message (as stated above).
>>> Received QR code on 6th.
Registered again on 2nd (used an iCloud e-mail account) - Did receive a confirmation e-mail - Logged in to check status and saw the ‘Reviewing’ status message (as stated above).
>>> Received QR code on 7th.
Thus: In both cases, even with an ‘information not registered’ message the QR code was sent in 5 days.
I applied on 4th with e-mail confirming registration immediately, rejection notification on 6th due to 'unclear document' ( same one as previously used )??
Re-applied on 6th with e-mail confirming registration immediately, expect to recieve TP tomorrow or Wed.
Friend ( Thai ) applied on 5th with e-mail confirming registration immediately, TP received today ( circa 48 hours ).
He's also bought a ticket showing he leaves within 5 days which he uploaded which he'll discard ( 2000baht ) to avoid 5th day test.
Even the rejection process is ok, it clearly explained the issue, took 14 minutes to re-apply once the document was ammended.

My wife isn't a drug runner destroying countless of lives....well I hope not anyhow.
I'm not denying the guy is a scumbag, my point being that revenge for whatever crime taken in your own hands would create a very dangerous world.

Absolutely.
So, say your wife knocked someone over in your car seriously injured or killed them it would be ok for one of their family members to come and murder her?

We have non immigrant O visas, just renewed for 1 year. Planning a trip and will be back in Thailand with 8 months left on current visa extension. With the current requirements for entry into Thailand, will we need the $50,000 health coverage for the entire 8 months?
On the Thai Pass application just put your date down for leaving thailand before the expiry of insurance.

Why look for the gunmen? Find them and give them a reward. He was a drug dealer.
And that makes it ok for another criminal to shoot him dead?

Why have they waited just over 17 years to open this?
I went to one in Khao Lak and it was pretty poor.

Well, because she's Thai, and we all know how they like to gamble with their farang's money. After all, it's not their money.
Whilst that farm of yours in Issan is useless, it would be a shame to loses it. ????
All Thai women gamble do they? Again, this proves your lack of knowledge.
What farm are you on about? Anyone that does n't live on Soi Bohkoaw lives on a farm do they? Strange...
Is isaan the only other area you know in Thailand - lol.

What started as student protests will grow bigger, as angry Thai people vent their disdain for their government.
Given many are now broke, with little to nothing to lose, it's possible the protests will turn violent.
Your opinion only which means very likely to be the complete opposite to what will actually pan out.

A lot of key money and leases are coming up. Given there have been no profits for the last 2 years, will bars have the capital to pay in order to stay open?
Yawn.

Wouldn't it have been better to replace the broken ridge capping?
Obviously no idea of how it's done here.
What the chap describes is normal for Thailand.

This rule about arriving on international flight has changed at the end of december.
Now from bkk there are 2 daily flights, bangkok airways. Has to be on one ticket.
Small turbo planes 2h flightWell noted.

A PCR test costs between 2500-3500 baht so 2 nights hotel, 2 PCR tests and airport transfer to Pattaya seems pretty good at 7700 baht
Blame the Thai government insisting on 2 PCR within 5 days of arrival for the high costs
3800 at BKK / Pattaya hospital.
They have improved the turnaround times now tho, results 6-8 hours.

Good evening everyone. I wanted to do my thailand pass, I am from Paris.
I wanted to go to Phuket and I wanted to know if it was possible to make a transit in any country or my flight must be direct to Phuket ?
I don't think it matters where you transit so long as you arrive Phuket by international flight.
There's no mention on the TP website about transitting anywhere.
