  1. Where you get this information from? Can we read somewhere about requirements for each type of the visa? And what do you mean by '50k expenses'? Edit: I just see that there was an article published on this forum today about these new visas and the 50k is the visa fee for 10 years.
  2. On the other hand Covid extensions are great benefit of this and I am sure many people here are using them.
  3. It depends on the embassy where you apply. Some embassies offer METV also now, some don't.
  4. I guess you never heard how Helicobacter Pylori is treated. Sometimes you get 3 different antibiotics which you have to take together. What you have is perfectly fine. Unless you see some adverse reaction continue taking them.
  5. How is this relavant to the topic? Did you fly after 1st of May? Are you unvaccinated? How did you submit Thailand Pass application without vaccination certificate and without RT-PCR test? What did you provide in the field for the certificate?
  6. Ok, here it is worded more clearly then: I think it is clear that it must be attach to the Thailand Pass application. There must be either vaccination certificate or RT-PCR test results attached. Otherwise the field would have to be left blank which is not possible.
  7. I had my hair transplant done in Istanbul 3 years ago and initially I was very satisfied with the results. Clinic was great, very professional, price was very good and they seem to have lot of experience with the hair transplants. However, I can see that I will have to go for at least one more transplant in few years. If you would like to know the name of the clinic you can PM me for details.
  8. Are you sure about that? It looks like you must attach the result to the Thailand Pass application if you are unvaccinated and want to avoid the quarantine. This is from tp.consular.go.th website: These are the new changes from May 1st.
  9. Well this issue many of us had before. You don't need round trip ticket, you just need onward ticket. You can supply them one-way ticket to Thailand and then any onward ticket to a different country. General rule is that the onward ticket should be within 60 days because it is not guaranteed that you will get the extension in Thailand. Some embassies accept within 90 days but it is not generally accepted and you would have to check with the embassy first. There are some sites which can provide you onward ticket which is valid for few days (usually 7 - 10 days) for a small fee. You can try to Google Proof of onwards travel ticket. Be careful some sites only do a ticket reservation and if the embassy will check the ticket it may not pass their check.
  10. What if you rent a bike? Do you still need copy of green book?
  11. Which immigration office is accepting 45 days in advance for covid extensions? I heard that rule is 30 days for covid extensions but reality is much different. Jomtien immigration didn't allow me to apply two weeks in advance.
  12. No, for both you need regular 30 day extension first before you can apply for Covid extensions.
  13. But you can get Covid extension only after you have done regular extension first. And currently you can apply for Covid extension until 25th March. They might be extended again but it is not guaranteed.
  14. Just out of curiosity, did they sign some documents stating that the matter is now settled? If so, who prepared those documents?
  15. For me it doesn't make sense too. But there was nothing I could do. They refuse to talk with me. They say "full queue" which was obvious lie.
  16. You should be able to get the passport outside where they have 90-day report sign. At least you got the extension on the same day. They told me I have to come back on the last day of my entry stamp to do my extension.
  17. After standing in the main queue were you able to get queue number and get the extension on the same day or they turned you away and told you to come back later?
  18. This is the first time I see that they are actually honoring the appointment system. If that is the case I will try to book an appointment next time when doing my Covid extension and I am really curious about the outcome.
  19. Correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I know it is not possible to make an appointment at Chonburi immigration in Jomtien. They are completely ignoring the appointment system and they are sending everyone home and telling them to come back again to make the extension as annoying as possible. I had to come 4 times when doing my 30-day tourist extension last time and I have spend there about 8 hours in total. They also didn't allow me to make the extension until my very last day. Not to mention how rude they were all the time and shouting at people and refusing to answer any question. Worst immigration office ever. Thailand don't deserve any tourists.
  20. I know the story very well, but in any case it is not account opening fee. It is just a useless insurance from which they have some commission. And I was probably somehow lucky because I was able to open an account 2 years ago without this insurance. If it would be account 'opening fee' how someone is trying to state here it wouldn't be possible.
  21. The point is it is NOT account opening fee. It is an insurance, which you don't want and you don't need. The thing that they probably have some backhand deal with insurance company is another topic. And yes I agree that it is bizarre that they are forcing you to buy an insurance which you don't need. They tried to do the same to me, but I didn't buy it.
  22. How is life/accident insurance an account opening fee?
  23. As far as I know in Phuket it was possible to apply for covid extension right away. This was the case few months ago, I am not sure if the situation changed since then.
  24. Actually it is very useful. I am using Jomtien immigration but my experience with them is not so positive. It is very busy, they refused to give me covid extension without applying 30 days regular extension first and after waiting 2 hours in the queue they send me back home telling me I should come later. I was trying to apply 2 weeks in advance, my current entry is until 30 January and they told me to come back again on Friday 28th January, which would be essentially my last day to get the extension. I am really not happy with their service. Phuket immigration was so much better.
  25. Is there any official information how early can one apply for covid extension? Some sources were stating it is possible to apply 30 days in advance before expiration of the current entry. Is this official and accepted by every immigration office?
