The site of the calamity was his home garden, doubling as a banana farm for his trade. Investigators found the wasp nest nestled in a cluster of bamboo trees near a pond in the garden. Council Members Mrs. Jidapha Suwattaporn and Mr. Anupong Buddhanawarat raised questions regarding the installation of decorative lights at the city’s upcoming festivals yesterday. The Caretaker Minister of Tourism and Sports Piphat Ratchakitprakarn told Thai media, “We have agreed to postpone the 300-baht ‘land entry’ fee collection which previously was expected to take effect this month to January 1st of next year.” “When arriving in Thailand tourists will have to pay a 300 baht fee for aircraft transportation and 150 baht for marine transportation. Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor, said “Enjoyed by all, this one-day trip focused on showing some of the new and different ways to experience tourism services and products in Bangkok, in line with the ‘Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters’ campaign and the direction towards meaningful travel experiences.” Lending its support to the activity was the Bangkok Accueil, which works to help French and French-speaking expats integrate into life in Thailand. It currently has around 275 French families registered in its membership, a group with high potential and purchasing power and which does regular humanitarian activities. Participants on the tour enjoyed a fun day that saw them travel around Rattanakosin Island – Bangkok’s historic old town area and home to famous landmarks like the Grand Palace, Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), and Temple of the Reclining Buddha ( Wat Pho) – by MuvMi Electric (EV) Tuk Tuk, explore local experiences and culinary in the Bang Lamphu and Tha Phra Athit areas, and visit the National Museum for a guided tour of the complex in French. The investigations follow reports that the teacher hit the back of a five year old boy, leaving visible bruises, after he accidentally scratched her car. The incident came to light when the boy’s parents lodged a formal complaint at the local police station, after noticing the bruises when they took him home. In an update provided today, Pattalung Children and Families’ Home officials, alongside local school and district administrators, met at Wat Khlong Yai School, where the incident allegedly occurred. The school’s director, Phasakorn Nunpan, confirmed that the teacher in question has been temporarily reassigned to another district pending the investigation’s outcome. The teacher admitted to striking the boy twice, according to Phasakorn. As part of the procedure, the Pattalung Children and Families’ Home joined the boy’s parents in filing the formal complaint and provided psychological support to the young boy. She was rushed to Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital for treatment after the emergency amputation of her left leg was performed by a medical team at the airport. Footage from security cameras at the airport’s domestic terminal shows the passenger collapsing at 8.30am after being hit by a suitcase while on the walkway between departure gates four and five. Her leg got stuck on the edge of the conveyor belt after she collapsed. Graphic images published in Thai-language media, and on Facebook, show a young woman in agonizing pain struggling to free her leg from a conveyor belt. The young woman was about to board a flight to travelling to Nakorn Sri Thammarat. Airport officials say they are investigating the incident and will issue a report on the cause of the accident after they finish their investigation. Karun Thanakuljeerapat, the airport’s director, said that the walkway had been shut while engineers investigate the cause of the accident. The accident will not lead to delays in flights arriving or departing the airport, he said. Airport management expressed condolences to the victim and said they would pay her medical bills as well as compensate her for the loss of her left leg, a post on the airport’s Facebook page said. The rescue team yesterday was notified about the death of a 78 year old Thai man named Pratheep. Upon investigating the deceased’s room on the first floor of the house, rescuers discovered a terrifying scene usually reserved for horror movies: Pratheep lying dead on his bed with gaping flesh wounds all over his face. Pratheep’s brother-in-law, Chalong, revealed to the rescue team that he was attacked by the family’s two pit bulls named Big and Black. He reckoned that the dogs gained entry into the room by tearing through the window’s mosquito net in the early hours of the incident day. Chalong recounted that he woke in the morning and went to Pratheep’s room to discover the shocking scene.
