By Adam Judd Phuket – Indian tourists are number one in tourist arrivals in Phuket with a total number of 12,200 since the unpopular Test and Go program was dropped on May 1st, says Phuket Immigration. Phuket International Airport Immigration reported the current arrival statistics on May 18th. The number of Indian nationals who arrived in Phuket from May 1st to May 18th, 2022 is 12,200, which by far is number one from every foreign country. Picture: Siam Rath Siam Rath reported that social media platforms in the NE of Thailand were busy sharing the news after dash cam footage was posted of a nine-vehicle pile-up at the Tha Phra intersection in Khon Kaen. A truck trailer laden with gravel experienced brake failure after coming down a bridge just 400 meters before the red lights. A motorcyclist managed to flee death in time. Locals said there were many accidents at this spot that leads to the Friendship Highway. In Thailand alone, coffee consumption is growing at a rate of 15% a year. The coffee industry is ruled by huge multinational corporations which sometimes end up causing more harm than good in the world. The third and fourth varieties are chlorophyllum molybdites varieties with Thai names Het Than Leuat and Het Ha Kruat Cream Khiaw. These will make people sick within 6 - 24 hours after ingestion. Picture: Thai Rath Thai Rath reported that a man fired five shots at a close friend during a drinking party outside a townhouse in Pak Phraek sub-district of Nakhon Sri Thammarat, southern Thailand, last night. Winai Paeklang, 40, from Korat, had wounds to his face, shoulder and back and was pronounced dead in hospital. The shooter is a man called Nonthachai Petchyoi, 30, who fled the scene in an unspecified vehicle and remains at large. Thung Song police found blood at the scene and evidence of multiple shots from a 9 mm firearm. The media reported that around five people had been drinking heavily when an argument broke out between the "close friends". Picture: Siam Rath Nong Prue police said yesterday that a Thai man aged 35 had admitted to the brutal attack of a Russian language teacher near the Mabprachan Reservoir in the Pattaya area. Elena Y. , 38, was brutallty attacked while out jogging at night on Wednesday sparking an urgent manhunt. Some speculated the attack was sexually motivated or brought on by the conflict in Ukraine, but these ideas appear groundless. Nong Prue police and Tourist police from Pattaya discovered that a white pick-up was used by the assailant and this was traced to a housing estate just one kilometer from Nong Prue police station.
