You didn't get it, it is something you should see as a solution for point 5.

It doesn't confer any right to immigrate to The Kingdom.
It doesn't that's right but OP was right as he wrote "leading to". Now he would be be extremely naive if he expected other than utter reluctance, parochialism and preposterous requirements from the Thais once he submits his application for permanent residence or citizenship.

I only saw one officer there running the entire show. So unless there are different officers on different days, why would my next 90 day report there be any different?
The office, at the stadium you went to was due originally to be at the border near Ban Kruat, which has never been opened as planned 5 years ago. I know the pleasant "maskless" officer quite well, even in the midst of Covid waves he was reluctant to wear one. So to come back to your question, there is another Immigration office, somewhat larger and quite nice too, about 4 km down the road, and, in the fullness of time, the stadium one might move to its final destination at the border.

When you return, you just hand over your passport over to the appropriate officer and sit and wait for them to stamp you passport.
The have inappropriate officers too? Guess that's why they get referred here to as IOs?

I’ve contemplated the elite visa before, but I can’t bring myself to put down such a large sum of money in a country were immigration laws are changed on a whim.
Same here, but I got the 10 year BOI/LTR now. 50K is a somewhat lesser risk. Was totally painless to get. "90 days" reports are yearly ????, and income tax exemption is official.

There is no such thing as the best.
One might be reliable and fast in location A but not in B or C.
Talk to the neighbors to find out what is best in your building/area.
Agree totally, almost down to the person who provides your support. Can go from nice, dedicated and smart down to total moron.

I have a joint account with my wife at Bangkok Bank. So, withdrawals, payments, etc.. can be made individually. Unfortunately operations such as replacement of bankbooks, replacement of cards require the attendance of all account holders. Pretty stupid isn't, I have tried to theorise about and and/or or, and just got the expected Thai blank look of when things get complicated.
So forget it and get the death certificate.

We didn't have the stupid village marriage but I paid 800000 Bahts which allowed the ILs to get a decent house. I promised that if I survive that long we'll have some celebration at the "first booboom" 20th anniversary, which will be, roughly, the 15th anniversary of our legal wedding.
But no more Sin sot.

By the policy name my guess is that it's intended to meet the requirements for people applying for Thai visas such as Non OA and LTR. If you need a policy, suggest giving LMG a call and asking about it.
More for OA and/or OK as they offer a 100k policy, while only 50k are required for LTR. Not sure it would make much of a difference once the higher deductibles would get factored in.

Ooh know I understand what they are going to do.
Before we got an Ft discount for 3 Periods (Sept-Dec) (see spreadsheet)
From Jan - April the Ft Discount is GONE and every one has to pay the Ft Charge of 0,9343 THB per unit thus increasing the price per unit (kWh) effectively with almost 1 THB (0,9343)
Edit: Ft = Fuel Surcharge
Good. I hate distorted pricing. Everyone must know the true cost of what they use. I some are in need the government can intervene with handouts, for Thai nationals only.
Please don't shout at me as I firmly believe that National Parks should have a single price for everyone.

Article tactfully avoids giving any number. When increasing minimum wage to 600 Baht seems to be an issue.

Yes, they do
Have they deployed an on line form to the visa to a new passport (change the passport details on the e-visa)?

Thanks @aublumberg, good to know that you've been back and forth a couple of times with at most a 15 min wait. One difference is that you do have the sticker from the HK consulate in your passport. For the LTR e-visa, all I have is a paper print-out. So there's nothing in my passport except for the small entry stamp. I could always carry the print-out folded up in my passport, but for expediency/clarity will see if there's some official looking stamp the BoI can put in the passport as well.
Are the Thai e-visas using QR codes?

The reason why I have always kept my boarding pass is that it is the first thing they will request when you make a claim for lost luggage.

That’s how I was looking at it. It sounds like Ltd holders who received theirs in Bangkok also got some kind of re entry stamp. since I’m already planning to go to the BoI to check on digital work permits, will ask about this as well.
That's what us locals get

Hi @aublumberg a question for you as I recall you have the LTR visa from Hong Kong and have since traveled to and from Thailand. Just wondering what stamps you received when you crossed in and out of Thailand? And have you come back into Thailand again?
The reason I ask is that I have an LTR e-visa and received an entry stamp when I arrived in Thailand in November. It says I have permission to stay for 5 years. But that's the only thing in my passport, and to be honest it's not very grand looking. I'm planning a short international trip in a week from Don Muang. Not sure what to expect at the airport on either end of the trip. Will bring a separate print out of the LTR e-visa in case there are questions.
I'd make sure the multi re-entry permit is duly stamped in your passport. Maybe worth paying a visit to BOI if you are in Bangkok.

Dumb stereotype that discredits anything you could say, if that was still need. I never go to bars, and based my comment on the rules and regulations, as well as first hand accounts.
