Jomtien's gone rogue on Non-Imm O visa
quake replied to Pattaya57's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
And that is the reason why, the likes of big joke, needs to come to to this cesspool of corruption at Jomtien. and clean house and put a stop to it all. How sad, it is now days at Jomtien immigration. Thailand shades it's self everyday in many ways. this is just one. there are many more in the land, every day. Time to grow up Thailand. and put big pants on. -

I think the thread title is misleading. There is no surprise about TM-30 reporting at Jomtien. it's been the norm for many years now at Jomtien. But sure if it's your first extension there, maybe. ( O visa stuff that is ) The only surprise, is someone slipping under there radar for so long. As we long time users of that office know that a few years back they went full on, with gusto at everyone over this TM-30 nonsense. What a carbuncle that was, the office was totally rammed all day long with people. !!!!!!!!!!!!! But as one poster has mentioned, they already have all your info from the past on file. so the TM-30 was most likely already on file. but no paper slip of this in the passport, even if that is not needed now. So it was just a little paper work dance that was required. wasting an hour and a half. no surprise at all. But we all know immigration have all the information that is usually required on file to do most things at there offices. but they make us all do the paper work dance every year. how sad they are at time. I would not recommend rocking up at Jomtien immigration with just a drivers license as proof of address. I know what they will tell you to do. that would be no surprise. Happy extensions at Jomtien, No surprises for me anyway. Please remember this thread was about Jomtien immigration not any other office in Thailand.

Op You have two choices as this is a neighbor issue. by the sound of it. ( I am assuming his Thai ) ? A. Move. B. Be prepared for full on war and it will most likely get nasty. if his an, owner of the unit, your on a 100% looser. if a renter, find out the owner and start with him. but again could get nasty. Ask yourself this, How much aggro do you want to deal with. Good luck.

Road Rage Incident Leads to Shooting, Leaving One Injured in Bangkok
quake replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
If they catch this guy. Should be 10 years in jail for attempted murder. ( no pardon ) and what ever other charges there is. Thailand needs to send a clear message to it's people about this type of behavior and what will happen if you do this type of thing. Ps After many years in Thailand I know what they will do.- 48 replies

Fair enough. And yes companies, do want to sell you a new tyre if they can even 4, if they can get away with it.

Com on, there's no need for that level of humor on a Sunday morning. BTW You forgot, No toking on a bong whilst driving. -
Good god man. It has not been the case for the last few years at Jomtien. if you used this office you would know this. Got it ? So I don't fully understand how the op has just discovered this after 30 years of using immigration. It just don't make sense to me. unless there is a bit more to this.
-
Did you read the op. your case was not the same. yours was a new passport.
-
Not at Jomtien in the last few years, unless someone has greased the wheels, I would say.
-
That's not how Jomtien immigration worked for the last few years. I think the op has left something out his post, maybe the use of an agent in the past ?

Never seen what you are talking about there. and i doubt any company would use them. but TIT so you never know. ( not for me that one) But 3 repairs from the outside on 3 Tyre's on my car. oldest about 3 years. No issue at all. just like the thousands that are done daily throughout Thailand. But if you or any poster are not happy with that way of doing things. go buy new tyre's or get repaired how you like., fine by me. I chose not to. Read many stories about brake failure. Brain failure. Micro sleep. But not plug failure done from the outside. Happy driving good day.
-
3 strings, 1 in front and one in each rear tyre. oldest, is the one in the front about 3 years now. all fine. ( all done for free at a very nice service center ) good job I live in Thailand not the USA or Europe. Quick hide under the bed the sky is falling.

Been like that a few years now. strange you have never done one at that office or on line but was issued a new extension. Maybe the true meaning of this post. Amazing Jomtien immigration stories.

Its fine, Drive it on front or rear. Technology has moved on. unlike the diehards. Had loads of plugs here, never had one fail.
