Camerata's Guide To The Permanent Residence Process
I travel outside Thailand about 20 times a year which is a decrease from 40/50 times a year. I always ensure that I can leave Thailand at a day's notice as was the case last Friday afternoon when I had to leave the following day.

Camerata's Guide To The Permanent Residence Process
No exit stamp. I got a new Non-Quota Immigrant Visa in July with about 10 flights before then all with departure stamp only. All the IOs on arrival are aware and as normal super efficient.

For departure yes - I have used about 15 times. For arrival most recent information that I know of is that apart from Thai Nationals, autogates can only be used by Hong Kong and Singapore PP holders but I don't know if PRs with these PPs can use.

Opening a K bank account impossible?
I had no difficulty opening an account with this Bank a few months ago. Pink ID Card is used for Account and App verification. I cannot remember what documents I had to provide when I opended an account - I have PR, am in a Blue Book on a property I own, but no longer have a WP.

Camerata's Guide To The Permanent Residence Process
If using e-gates there is no stamp as was the case previously up to pre Covid when autogates wwre in use. On return I always use lanes for Thai PP holders. e-gates on arrival are only available to 2 Nationalities and if a person uses these then there are requirements to register for certain types of visa including those with WP - refer to Deloitte website which I think that I mentioned before on this forum.

Always on departure in last few months, about 8 times.

Camerata's Guide To The Permanent Residence Process
I did not register to use e.gates as I had to several years ago when e.gates could be used on departure and entry. Today I obtianed a new non-quota immigration visa. No questions asked related to e.gates; normal procedure - 3 to 4 mins to check the documents and return circa 1 hour later.

Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
Is the following due any way to USA? "Taiwan, they took all of our computer chips and semiconductors," Trump said Wednesday. "We used to be the king, right? We were everything. We had all of it. Now we have almost none."

Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
Applies to Bessent, Rubio, Vance, etc as much or more than the people who voted without thinking. Make America Great Again is laughable. Where would the Americans living in Thailand prefer to live now?

Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
Demand is there, but price is too high...no worries I'll ask Elon to open mutiple factories manufacturing products with no skilled labour available tomorrow and you know the guy is a genius he will do it. I want an American made shirt from my local shop in CA; owner says we cannot compete on price or quality. People born in USA don't want to make shirts all day or read they don't have the patience, skill, etc and salary is too low. Elon - import some Cambodians and make sure they pay their taxes.

Trump Starts Global Tariff Wall, Thailand Hit with 36% Tax
Where is USA on this list? Does the average or any American have the mentality to sit making shirts all day as people in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc do? How many years does it take to train people for skilled jobs, who will invest in new businesses, innovation when people don't know how long the trade war will last and what the impact will be? More damage to the world and any American who can see past the end of his Trump nose in the last 3 months compared to any 3 month period since the end of WW II. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.theglobaleconomy.com/rankings/Share_of_manufacturing/&ved=2ahUKEwjTlZv7zrqMAxXFS2cHHdwFGvgQFnoECBYQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2rOvEVIHBW-lGPl9TlY165

You are frequenting the wrong places. Visit PARQ, Park Silom, Lake Ratchada and many more.

What is Thai dating culture like?
You clearly know little about females in Bangkok/Thailand. In professional positions such as accounting, legal, donors, banks, airlines, etc.....etc, as well as entrepeneurs there are thousands and thousands and more females who are fluent or almost in English. These women are attractive, smart, well travelled internationally, etc and a high % are unmarried and never have been. I know because since the mid 1990s until I retired from working in Thailand I employed many females, as well as working with females in sub-contrac tors, lawyers, etc. Go to eat in any office building at lunchtime in Bangkok and females outnumber males. Genuine and many attractive females and I guess a high % are unmarried, don't have a partner, maybe never have.

Male-Female Relationships in Thailand: More Transactional, Less Traditional?
Deserving of a PhD! I learnt more (or less?) in a 2 minutes read than 30 years in Thailand.
