Hi there, I live in Thailand since almost 3 years but now I would be interested to apply for an elite visa for stay long term, also because am getting tired of tourist visa and crossing borders!. I am 26 years old, would be possible for apply for this type of visa?. PS. I have already applied for an Ed visa so I will be ok for one year but I would like to apply for elite visa after ed visa. Thanks for the answers.

They should have told you a date to return to get your results. That's when you'll get your actual extension. The date they should have told you would be on or before 8 May. I got my "under consideration" stamp on Monday, and I'm supposed to return to CW on 18 May for my results. If they didn't tell you when to return, I guess you should go on 8 May.
Yep I will go on 8th of may but do you know how many days I could get?
-
Hi there, do you know what will happens if you got a stamp until 8th of may and it is also under consideration?.
-
Visa will also be extended if we already got a stamp on under consideration?

Having been given seven days to leave the country (it is not an extension) I would be nervous. The intent of the PM and the cabinet was to allow everyone legally in Thailand as of March 26 to remain without penalty, but the convoluted wording of the eventual Order means that many situations are subject to interpretation. Especially if in Region 3, staying past April 27 without future problems may require the services of an agent. Which immigration office must your friend deal with?
Yesh same I did with my agency, they do everything for me and maybe deal with immigration. Maybe my friend should ask to some agent to solve her case.

No overstay for her.
She will be after April 27 in same boat of all those now here without a permission of stay stamp. She can then remain until amnesty ends. I realize current one ends April 30 however that will be extended.
So are you telling me that amnesty will be extended also after 30th of april isnt?.
-
Ah so she doesn't has to worry about overstaying?.

May 27th? Well, let's not worry about this now. Come back in May. We'll know more around April 30th.
OH, your title and first post are different.
OK, you meant April 27th.
she's get the extension until April 30th.
I'd still wait.
Maybe worst case go to Immigration on the 30th, if no new information (seems unlikely no new information) and spend 1900 for a week i think.
yea, headache.
Yeah I meant 27th of april, I edited

Hi everyone, my friend just went at immigration to cancel her work visa and she told me that immigration gave her until 27 th of April to leave the country but now all borders are closed and no have any flights to leave thailand. She asked me what to do in this case?!. Thanks for the answers.

I have applied for ed visa but my tourist visa will expires on 1th of may. Do you think immigration will help me to change my visa type from tourist to ed?.

Hi everyone, my visa extension is going to expires on 1th of May. Now immigration will give automatic extensions until 30th of April but I do not need it. Do you think they will extend another 30 days if I will bring a letter from my embassy? Because it's very difficult to find flights for go back to my country and honestly am also afraid to go back.

I live at my girlfriend's house so no problem for me, I can show all documents they need!

What if I have already extended my visa run? It will expires on 1th of May. I can't find easy flights due to corona virus, do you think that with a letter from my italian embassy immigration will extend my visa for another 30 days?.
-
I am arrived on 3th of March from Mae Sai and I have already extended for another 30 days. Should be ok for extend my visa with a letter from my italian embassy?

Just wait for the Cabinets answer to Immigrations suggestion to extend the stay for stranded tourists until the end of June.
Yeah I hope so, this situation is so crazy! I live in Thailand since two years and half and I have never had a difficult time like this and now most of airlines companies don't allow you to flight back or they have many restrictions..

I live in Thailand since almost two years and my visa run will expires on 1th of May. I have already done one extension so I cannot extend one more time. Borders and airplanes companies have many restrictions so I will need a letter from my italian embassy is that right? I hope immigration will help me coz I cannot overstay..

I really hope that they will help also because is very difficult to fly back right now! At the end we all pay for this visa and they don't give it for free
