  1. Is this up to date enough for you? https://www.universiteitleiden.nl/en/news/2023/07/the-netherlands-is-a-key-player-in-the-world-of-tax-evasion The Tax evasion scheme still exists. That's why mayor companies and artists are still legally based in the Netherlands to avoid high taxes in there native countries.
  2. Google "Double Irish Dutch Sandwich" to understand this Tax evasion by big tech companies and world famous artists like U2, AC/DC and The Rolling Stones. Trump is right, All companies and artists involved are stealing from the countries where they make there money.
  3. any time is a good time for a tinny. There is no time printed on the tin only a best before date
  4. Pattaya Beach on Koh Lipe is the only Pattaya Beach with world class image
  5. The dutch guy Max is not a tourist but a bar/restaurant owner in Udon Thani. His bar is called Brickhouse and is for sale for quite some time. As an expat he should have known better that his behavior is not acceptable. I think he went Berserk for more than just 130tb
  6. This weekend I read in the bangkok post that India will sell their overstock Basmati Rice in their full stocked warehouses to the world market for very low prices. As for Thailand with the upcoming Rice harvesting season this Will be a disaster. The crisis Will appear sooner than we think.
  7. In the video published earlier this day by Pattaya News I saw a Rolex in a box on his table. It is not mentioned among the seized goods like the 120 euro cash. So where is the Rolex? 🧐
  8. My washing machine is manufactured in Thailand and is called Teerak. It's a front loader and a very good cook.
  9. In Sisaket provence they also grow Lava Durian near Khun Han
  10. Pad Krapow burger. From Astroburger Silom soi 4
  11. Yes they do. I also use my Wise plastic card to scan at the 7/11
  12. Yes they do accept debit cards. I use my Wise card via my Apple wallet in various 7/11 in Thailand.
  13. And now for something completely different. We can debate whether it is a burger or not, but I found this Pad Krapow burger very tasty. Astro Burger Silom road, Thaniya walking street
  14. Send your wife to me and the average IQ in your house will rise dramatically
  15. So you don't understand what I am writing? Then you have to go back to school for learning reading comprehension, Pannenkoek.
  16. Mr. Pancake is probably derived from the nickname "Banana Pancake" The name we give to the lowlife travellers that have not enough money to enjoy fully SE Asia. Renting an $11 room says it all. In my native language pancake is translated "Pannenkoek" it's also a name we give to extreme and utterly dumb persons.
  17. So at the bottom line using dollars in Cambodia is not stupid. The OP had various examples of how to obtain them at the lowest rates and fees. Another line in all the conversations is that the OP finds Cambodia an expensive and dirty country, well that's the homework he had to do before traveling to the country.
  18. You're right, I was only reacting on the post by @NextG who mentioned ATM fee less exchange of Thai Baht. As stated earlier in Cambodia I only use Cash Dollars. My Wise card and iPhone Wallet app I use in shops around SE Asia. It's not possible to add Cambodia Riel to your Wise account so you must use Dollars. When obtaining cheap cash dollars at the lowest rate and without fee's This is still the best way. Trick: try to find in your homecountry shops and exchange offices who accept cash dollars. They accept them at the most horrible rate for tourists visiting your country. Robbing/scamming Tourists is not only in SE Asia, for instance look at airport shops worldwide. You can buy those dollars for less than the rate system banks states. The shops will be happy because they don't have to pay transfer fee to their currency and still make some profit and you buy cheaper dollars than the interbank rate. I agree that Wise is in the rest of SE Asia a very good way to get not robbed by the system banks. I have debit credit on my Wise card in various currency like Malayan Ringgit, Vietnamese Dong and Singapore Dollars and works like a charm, only the ATM fee is <deleted> but can accept that. Paying cardless in shops around Asia works very good and without fee. The only fee you pay is the exchange fee Wise get when adding to your card which is very low.
  19. If you don't pay the 220thb ATM fee this will be absolute the best deal. Are you using Thai cards? As I stated in an earlier post I use Wise to send money to my Thai bank account at lowest fee and the best possible rate. That also give me the opportunity avoiding the ATM fee. Another good alternative is Revolut.
  20. Terrible news, I hope you fully recover from this accident.
  21. I have to call your BS again, In an other Topic you started. I read your complaint about the prices in PP. $2,5 a beer, but during happy hour sometimes $1 or $0,75 those are still cheaper prices than Thailand. You booked a hotelroom for $11. What you expect from that price? $10 to $20 rooms are used for ST even in Thailand and especially around street 136 in PP. You are on a budget and are trying to get the most of your bucks from you welfare check for thirty days and decided to go to a third world country to get the most out of it. But reality kicked in, you were not expecting that the Khmer people also want some benefits from the tourists and trying to cope with inflation. Budgeting hotel costs for a month at some $300 to $400 is ridiculous this price range will bring me only 3 to 5 days in the best hotels available. They are also on Agoda. You and I Sir are not playing the same league and for you it's a long way to play Premiership. BTW Kalasin province is hundreds of kilometers away from Si Sa Ket province. As I say I have a residence near the Cambodian border with a view on the Kulen mountain range with a lot of Khmer influence. Comparing those two provinces is comparing flat rice fields with Mountain View a bit silly isn't.
  22. Yes indeed the K card I use for my Thai Baht sorry for the Off Topic. In Cambodia and Vietnam I use my cheap Dollars as mentioned in my earlier post (On Topic) Sad to read you stay in the cheapest hotels you can find on Agoda (try Momondo much cheaper) but what saddened me the most is that you have to eat and drink on your hotel room what you ordered by Grab. Transportation costs in Cambodia I don't know, because I use my own car. I live in Si Sa ket near the Cambodian border
