Useless restrictions, all they do is prolonging the agony.
They had a whole year to buy vaccines and vaccinate the population but they just wasted time bragging about how good they were to stop the pandemic.

Well, good luck, things are about to change dramatically in the next few months.
I really doubt that, if that happens means vaccines are useless and we just have to accept living with the virus.

And where do you see an end to them?
Everywhere.
Most countries in Europe,Latin America,North America,Africa have far less restrictions and life is pretty much back to normal.
Worse than Thailand there's probably only Malaysia and Philippines.

could you elaborate please? I actually support the lockdown and happy to be in Thailand right now because my home country looks like a zombie-apocalypse with close to one thousand Covid deaths daily. Australia is the place I plan to relocate to, once they open the borders.
If you want to see zombie apocalypse go to Pattaya, place is becoming resident evil.

Yeah I am considering it for the first time after 10 years.
And for me it's mostly about Covid, I don't see an end to the crazy restrictions and lack of freedom.

South east asian countries are handling this crisis in the stupidiest way possible.
It's literally the worst place on earth to be living at the moment.

Real numbers are already way over 50 k cases per day, vast majority of people are not getting tested.
This country is becoming a nightmare, after 10 years I am really considering leaving.

That being said, this particular act of defiance in this particular situation looks very reckless to me. What good is it to "stay open" when hospitals already cannot cope with Covid-19 cases?
They cannot cope because they are full of asymptomatic people

Please explain the risk of fully vaccinated Tourist versus Non Vaccinated Thais ?
I am confused ....
Exactly, they are acting like Thailand is Covid free.
Also explain me while they still categorize countries with low/high risk if everyone has to be vaccinated before coming.

They waited till the country is almost ruined before realizing they should open up.
South East Asian countries are the dealing with this pandemic in a ridicolous way, most of the world moved on while here they are terrified of taking any decision.

Didn't you hear? Flu has all but disappeared, due to the measures imposed to contain the Covid 19 pandemic so those deaths are also now being saved.
Wow, we should live like this forever then

Thailand best country in the world to manage the pandemic didn't age well at all.
While 90% of the world is almost back to normal here we are back to April 2020

So,Thailand is clearly full of Covid but they can't take the chances to let vaccinated people in.
How is this ever gonna end if the risk tolerance is this low?
-
Meanwhile Europe it's mostly back to normal with stadium almost full of people watching football matches while in Thailand I have to wear a mask even when I take a poop.

Plus the comparison with the cigarettes doesn't make any sense, I am not asking to drink a whole bottle of whisky a day but I just want to be able to jump on a plane and visit the world like before.
It's called freedom.

I do not care man, I have no time to worry about all things that might be dangerous in my life.
There's so many things can happen which I have no control over ,I'd rather not being a paranoid health freak and enjoy my life.

I would have never imagined the world is full of people so afraid of dying they would rather give up 90% of their freedom just to feel some kind of false sense of security.
It's been 1 year and a half of this nonsense, let us live our life <deleted>

There are a lot of people who died of Covid thinking they were healthy.
Okay,I will take my chances.

Do you have a right though to impose those odds on others who you could infect?
It's a tricky issue I know- there's no right or wrong answer. Certainly if others have had ample opportunity to get vaccinated then I definitely agree with you.
People who are worried of being infected have the right to lock themselves at home until covid will disappear from planet earth(never gonna happen).

I still can't believe after 1 year and a half of this there are people still wish the country will not open up.
Either the average member here is 90 years old with 3 comorbieties or there are just so many paranoid people out here.

At the beginning I thought it was a trolling post but there are actually lunatics wearing 2 masks.
