Flew out last week of June with no delay. Incoming aircraft was also on time.

You could also try Thong Ta Resort for good basic accommodation (5 storey building - but no elevator) - look at them on Trip Advisor.
Seconded. Good clean, friendly place to stay. With free transport to and from the airport.

Getting an evisa may be an option to think about.
Last time I applied, it was issued in a matter of hours.

We got our white plates last week. Just short of 6 weeks after taking delivery of our pickup.

I had my new car done with 3M. The only problem was that the 3M screen has their logo "3m" in the tinting. Be careful with what you select
You do realize those are removable. Just ask the place for the liquid used to remove them. Or better still take it back and have the installers remove the logos, just a few minutes to do. Believe isopropyl alcohol and cotton balls will do it.
Thanks for the useful tip.
I was wondering what to do about the 3M logos too.

Could be your a couple of your synchronising rings.

Don't forget the huge jar of Pickled Eggs & Gherkins.

Square Sausage is quite tasty.

I hope you have ensured a reliable supply of back copies of the Daily Mirror and the Sun in which to wrap these delicacies.
Someone must have copies of the "Sunday Sport" to use. I would prefer mine in the Guardian or the Times.

Please add saveloys to the menu, don't forget pickled eggs.
Hopefully your food will be served in newspaper and not those horrible polystyrene trays.
Don't forget the Dandelion & Burdock to wash it all down with.

My wife and I are regular visitors to Sukhothai as we have a recently built a house and have family there about 20 km from the City.
I have also wondered what the social activities of the local farangs are.
Though I'm not the most outward going of people, I wouldn't mind meeting up with a few people for a beer or 2 and to put the world to rights.
I'm pretty much the same, I wont go out of my way to be more outgoing, I'm happy mostly in my bubble but sometimes I want to as you say, meet up with like minded folk and drink a few beers.
Where is 20km away? My In-Laws live in Ban Dan Lan Hoi about 35km from where I live in Mueang.
We're over the mountain from you in Khirimat and will be there in 3 weeks time.
I have heard of Khirimat but never been, anything there or same as Ban Dan Lan Hoi? Nothing to write home about....
Nothing in Khrimat, though there is now a small 7-11 at one of the fuel stations.
But I still like the place. People are friendly, though they do tend to stare at the "white man" a bit.

Why didn't he ask father to help him out before he sold his passport and got himself in to trouble.
I wonder how keen the UK Passport agency will be in issuing a new passport to someone who sold theirs.

Hex keys (Allen Keys) come in Imperial & Metric.
Stahlwille tools are as good as if not better than Snap On (IMO), and also cheaper.

The Royal Selangor Factory is well worth a visit.
From what I remember it's free and you also get a guide to show you around.

Sounds like you did well.
I ordered a D-Max in the first week of January and was told 2 to 3 months maximum. Wifey called the dealer several times and was told no date yet.
After the 3 months and no car, we cancelled, got our 5k deposit back and booked a Vigo.
And I'm pleased to say it's being picked up on Saturday after only 2 months wait.

My wife has done the reverse routing several times. We found that BKK - FRA was a lot cheaper than BKK-FRA-HAM, so we always buy the FRA-HAM sector separately with Lufthansa who offer some cheap domestics.

I've not had any problems booking a full fare flight, only with this rewards redemption flight.
Next time I'll just carry out the whole booking with payment, rather than trying to pay the balance later.

8 weeks after ordering our new Vigo, we have been informed by the dealer it is ready for collection.
Due to work commitments I'm unable to collect it, so she who must be obeyed is flying to BKK to collect it.
Apart from ensuring we get the Log Book, Tax, Insurance, Plates and the "Free extras" as agreed in writing at the time of booking, are there any other things we need to ensure we have.
There's no finance.

I forgot to add that I'm using Safari.

I have booked a flight on PG using accumulated points with no problem.
However when I go to their web site to pay using the e-service, I can't proceed any further from the itinerary page after clicking "pay"
I've ensured the acknowledgement check box at the bottom of the page is checked.
It seems to work ok using a Windows OS, except that my card keeps getting rejected, despite assurances from my card issuer that there is no problem with my card.
Has anyone experienced the same or similar problem.
I'm using OS X Lion 10.7.3

When the Mrs and I ordered our Vigo from Kmotors Bangkok, the salesman gave us 2 options. Free Insurance or a package consisting of: Bed Liner, Wind Deflectors, Rubber Floor Mats, 3M Window Film, Brake/Clutch Lock, Licence Plate Holder!!! and Rubbish Bin. Additionally they gave us 10,000 Bht discount.
We had previously looked at a Dmax up country and Isuzu wouldn't give us anything.
