The big question is - When or if will they stop using this tracking system. The government has often floated ideas of tracking foreigners with GPS and who knows what. Now they have a system, so will they keep it?
One thing the power hunger wants more of is, more power...So tracking will not be given up easily....

This QR cade madness will be killing business left and right....People will be getting very very very very very tired of having to QR code everywhere and just start avoiding going in the shops......

Sir you do know by using the QR code you could potentially be quarantined for 2 weeks just for happen to being at the mall at the same time as some person who you did not even know....

Dear Friends and Customers,
It is with a heavy heart we have made the decision to not reopen our gyms at this time.
Due to the current health and financial situation we just can't afford to do so right now.
Our businesses are a network between clubs, fitness, hotels etc. and they support each other. Until the government allows us to open everything fully and we have customers back we cannot afford to open piecemeal.
We hope to be open again in the near future. We will let everyone know when that time comes.
We will still have property and equipment for sale, but all other operations are shut down until we can assess what we can do.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Sincerely,
Tony's Group

How do you know they were closing down? Maybe they have negotiated a cheaper lease elsewhere and are simply moving.
Well I did not go and interview the owners personally.....But removing ever last thing from a shop says 100% CLOSED to me.......No ones going to negotiate a new lease at a new location now any ways,a landlord would be a fool to do this...Zero rent shops are not to popular with landlords...

Until there's a vaccine, that is the new normal for people travelling.
Maybe this is the new normal in the minds of insane people..

Sooooooon very very very soooooon the light is going to start going off in retailers head that people are avoiding walking into shops so as to avoid all this registering rigamarole..........
No more just walking into a shop out of curiosity.....No thats finished.......This registering madness will be keeping out random shoppers...Only those that really need some thing will enter.......
This registering madness will be costing retailers big $$$$$....

I beg to differ; Thailand can and will do something different or perish. International tourism the way we knew it is finished. Sure, it may make a modest comeback temporarily but it wont last. The sooner Thailand comes to grips with the inevitable, the better off it will be in the long run. The writing is on the wall for all that can read and "Denial" is not a river in Egypt. The World has changed and those that recognize this fact will fair the best in the long run.
Of course the change is called the NEW NORMAL right?......Sorry but all of us dont plan on boarding the train to the new dystopia...

indeed, horrible if i would lose my freedom and rights to live in a healthy society.
restricting individual behaviour that endangers other peoples lives and so infringes on their freedom, rightly should not be allowed.
Just like people dont have "the freedom to be drunk and drive a car" people also dont have the right to unnecesarely risk spreading a very contagious and possible legal disease.
Sir I think you need to put on your face mask preferably the muzzle kind...

More KISS would be that procedure without the mask parts, and that’s what I do.
This is exactly right........The masks are for people whos critical thinking comes from the T.V....

I think this bar business is outdated and should be replaced by more appealing things. Could be the right time now to change this sex and booze image. Alone walking on the Beach Road in not Corona times is a sex hassle for "normal" tourists. But even yesterday when I had to walk to the post office - "I come with you", "boom boom" and other invitations for sex. An open air brothel open at daytime already and this even at Corona times.
Sir this is the exact reason we all love Pattaya...

Musicians skills are only gained after years of hard work and do not really apply to any other job......Its a damm sad situation....
But things have been getting worse for musicians for decades already........Napster was the start of musicians wows.....Record sales started falling each year.....Then digital downloads stole most of musicians recording income....They only get fractions of a cent for digital downloads....
David Crosby and others have been very vocal about the music theft that is going on in the music industry...
Now if musicians cant play live they have almost zero income.....
