  1. I'd say, more than any other Asians, Hamas are looking for Filipinos as the Philippines was the only Asian country that supported (and voted for) the establishment of Israel in 1948. They're also the biggest group of Asian foreigner workers in Israel. Filipinos also have visa-free entry into Israel for up to 3 months. It could be a case of mistaken identity.
  2. I can imagine how sad the other half of your family feels for you. Maybe you should listen to that half of your family... If you want to rank the worst US presidents ever, first place on any list will go to Biden, but Democrats hide the embarrassment by constantly blaming Trump for all his f***ups. Soon you'll have Harris to vie for first place on that list.
  3. Of course it matters in Thailand, but you took my post out of context by cherry picking one sentence to make your point - don't do that! If something bad happens to a Thai person, it isn't because they were Thai - they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Perhaps you're not giving Thai people the benefit of the doubt - that they are mature enough to understand that.
  4. Maybe over 1000 civilians (on both sides) are dead at this point in the conflict. Does it really matter where they were born? I found it equally annoying when the Austalian news was attempting to determine their own death toll.
  5. So your conslusion: have lots of people around you and you'll be healthy and live forever? I've got news for you: living is unhealthy and fatal no matter how many people you share it with.
  6. Good work. All Democratic Party propaganda rolled into one absurd post. Point taken - you don't like Trump.
  7. Your reply was a textbook example of Muphry's Law: If you write anything criticizing editing or proofreading, there will be a fault of some kind in what you have written. The name is a deliberate misspelling of "Murphy's law". In your case many errors: "treat", "teat", poor grammer and a problem with capitalization. Is English your primary language? Number one rule of forum etiquette: Don't be a grammar Nazi.
  8. If you want to visit The Philippines, at least you could spell it right.
  9. A bit late to the party are we? This happened over 2 weeks ago on September 21.
  10. That's not saying much. How old are you and what do you mean by "snag"?
  11. it is not as simple as that as there are limits for withdrawals imposed by home banks and many will not allow a 30k withdrawal.
  12. Aeon ATMs are still charging 150 baht. There used to be 3 in Pattaya, now there's only one at Lotus's North Pattaya Mall. Unless you live nearby, it's not worth travelling there to save 70 baht.
  13. Her IQ seems quite high. If you can overcome your sadness after seeing a photo of her and take the plunge, you'll discover a more interesting topic.
  14. I wasn't as lucky and had to pay at the Australian Embassy to renew my Austrlian driver's licence. There might be some leeway depending on what authority you're sending documents to... but of course we have no idea where the OP is sending his documents and what the regulations are in that jurisdiction.
  15. Unfortunely, if he's as smart as he thinks he is, he'll probably discover that he can still make annoying posts on Asean Now while enjoying the countryside in Japan. Likely he'll be so bored there he'll redouble his efforts.
  16. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I got the impression that you were overridden with grief when another member posted a photo of this remarkable woman. Either way, it's a very interesting story.
  17. If feeling melancholy is your thing, try this. Mikhaila is 31, and has been suffering from autoimmune disease her entire life... she had a hip and an ankle replaced at age 22, and now, for 6 years she only eats beef. She's eats striploin steak 3 times a day and nothing else. It's a remarkable story as she seems quite healthy on this diet. Mikhaila Peterson
  18. He might be smart, but explaining his thoughts to less intelligent people is a skill he's never developed and mostly, whenever I've endured his speeches, he comes across as arrogant. In the OP's posted video, he is not dumbing it down, but lecturing to a university class.
  19. Unfortunately your Isaan farm girls don't get a chance to compete in these upscale beauty contests. It's an expensive endeavour and they need a lot of financial backing to be able to compete.
  20. "Nobody of us knows even 1% of what he knows" LOL! Really? I won't argue about what he is saying, but I find this man talks too much and there is very little purpose to what he is saying. I've never liked him - he seems to like the sound of his own voice too much. There are much better speakers around with much more purpose to what they are saying. Of course he's only interested in talking to people with IQs above 120. Now I'll standby to cop vitriol from his fans...
  21. To get an appropriate answer, you should add some detail, like where the documents need to be sent off to. For example, the only place to have documents notarized to be used in Australia is at the Australian Embassy which costs at least 1760 baht per document. That's quite expensive if you're living far from Bangkok. Most importantly you need to know what is required by the organisation you're sending the documents off to.
  22. This lady has 3 bank accounts and gave her PIN # to a stranger? You'd think she'd know better.
