LOL !!!!! 1) You don't have and never had a clearance, so you have no clue what intel came in about 45 and his campaign 2) The 6 years of ACTUAL documented evidence show wrongdoing on a scale never seen in any Administration 3) I guarantee you did not read the full Mueller Report 4) I guarantee you did not read the 1000+ page SSCI Report released by SSCI when repubs still controlled the Senate. They detailed the 140 known meetings between 45's campaign and russians/russian assets---not a single one any of the perps noted when they subsequently filed SF86s for clearances, it detailed the meeting in Spain between manafort and kilimnik, and noted at least 10 instances where obstruction of justice could be brought against 45, plus that he committed perjury when handwriting his testimony to Mueller. I recall the cult always saying "Durham is going to get them". Durham gave a clean bill of health to the entire CIA, plus McCabe and Comey. 45 has played fast and loose with laws his entire life. This one is going to get him. Ironically, it was 45 himself who signed the Bill that made even taking TS stuff out of a secure environment a felony and gave it a 5 year prison term instead of the previous 1 year. It seems 45 went far beyond TS, past TS/SCI, past Codeword, and likely into SAP classification. Each count can carry 5 years. 45 took 27 boxes (15 returned in January 2022 and 12 taken this week). If 45 is lucky he'll die in Leavenworth. If he is charged and tried for sedition for his role in the 6 Jan terrorist attack against the US Capitol (Dir Wray used that term, as terrorism it clearly was), he faces worse. Sedition is a capital offense. Execution is the punishment. I'll end this with the usual: WHY did 45 think he needed 27 boxes of material he had no legal right to have?

Of the many threats 45's recklessness and self-serving BS represents---PLEASE EXPLAIN---supporters---WHY 45 NEEDED TO KEEP ALL THIS STUFF---here's one most of you won't consider. US NatSec is severely jeopardized in several ways by 45's egregious behavior, but consider this: a CIA ops officer's job is to recruit spies. Part of the recruitment process means convincing the clandestine asset that his/her security is paramount. If some irresponsible self-serving clown can instantly and unilaterally declassify everything (POTUSs cannot actually do this; there is a protocol, so 45 is lying yet again), then no clandestine asset's identity can be protected. The US recruits and maintains clandestine assets in many adversarial countries and organizations. Key assets are in such places as russia, china, DPRK, Iran, inside al Qaeda and ISIS. All of those assets put their lives on the line if they are aware they are CIA assets, and some might be unaware they are working for CIA, but could find out if their association was leaked. Years ago the CIA recruited a man who may well be the greatest clandestine asset the world has ever known. The man, Adolf Tolkachev, gave the US data on Soviet military capabilities and weaknesses that went directly into US development of weapons systems to counter or exploit Soviet strengths and weaknesses. It is estimated that Tolkachev's intel saved the US tens of billions of dollars, maybe hundreds of billions. Other such assets 'may or may not' exist. Perhaps there are penetrations of terrorist groups that have stopped major attacks on the homeland. Other assets might share intel on capabilities or weaknesses in the military of adversarial nations. Clandestine assets, who now will believe that a self-serving reckless loser POTUS can carry identities out the White House door and store it in a resort club, will think twice before putting their own lives or the lives of their families on the line. There is no excuse for 45's behavior. None. He endangered US NatSec. For repubs to back this egregious behavior in any way proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that repubs really couldn't care less about national security. Lock him up! 45 Supporters: I ask again: What possible use would 45 have for all this classified material?
-
So what is the cult answer to why 45 needed all these documents? Memories? BS. The self-serving POS had every intent to monetize the material. You think Wray and garland don't survive this. I'll say 45 does time in Leavenworth, maybe expiring there.

Last evening at about 1930 I walked up Soi 4 toward Sukhumvit. A guy came waddling out of Bangcockney, walked across Soi 6 where it meets Soi 4, pulled it out and began relieving himself on the outer wall of the Novotel. A service woman from the bar ran out and tried pulling the guy away from the wall, his trickle flying every which way. He began screaming incoherently at the woman. Again, this was at 1930. I can only imagine what biological function he's dropping at 4am. I'm just going to go out on a limb and guess that guy isn't the 'quality tourist' TAT had hoped to get.

Qatar is having all sorts of problems lately. Change of plane is now almost a certainty. You think you've booked a Q-Suite, then with a plane change you get something with standard 2-2-2 seating...no Q Suites. Qatar with a Q-Suite is a nice ride, but without Q-Suite Qatar is no different from any other bulk livestock mover. Qatar also initiated a new policy where ticket prices vary depending on whether you get to choose your Bus Class seat or not. You can book the cheaper ticket, then pay extra to book a seat, but since the plane is oing to be changed anyway and whatever Q Suite you selected won't exist, it's a mug's game. Qatar seems to have gotten a little too full of itself. Flying Qatar today is almost like flying an entirely different airline from before Covid.

Schrödinger's Cat This is about the only analogy I can come up with that comes close to explaining the bizarre series of lies, reversals, inconsistencies, and Whataboutism 45 has engaged in since he made the search of MaL public. First, 'there's Nothing There'. Of course now it is clear there is a 'there' there. AT least 27 boxes of 'there'. Second: It was "Planted". Like the cat....there's nothing there, but it was planted. Third: "Whataboutism"...45 released a statement Friday morning in typical mendacious 45 form: "Barack Hussein Obama kept 33 million pages of documents, much of them classified....how many of them pertain to nuclear,,,word is...LOTS" NARA then came out with statement bitchslapping the bloated lying conman (those so inclined can find that NARA statement). Word is: 45 pulled that right out of where the sun doesn't shine. Adding in BHO's middle name....that little touch of racism....is frosting and fodder for the cult 45 leads. Fourth: "Declassified"....Now he takes a tact where the "Nothing There" stuff that was "Planted" was actually declassified by 45 as he was having a last bucket of KFC delivered to the Oval Office on 20 January 2021. This is such an obvious lie, but is likely to resonate with his cult because they do not understand the protocol required for declassification. It isn't like a Catholic priest who absolves a confession goer of all his sins, even the ones he was too shy to confess. Declassification is a process that requires an in-depth review for each and every document. Clearly 'declassification' is a defense 45 decided to try this week---in August 2022---more than a year and a half after he lost the right to even request such a thing. He declassified NOTHING on his way out. More typical 45 lies. Fifth: Inadvertent: this is kind of a loop back just in case 1-4 fail. 45 has already also tossed out the "maybe a few things got mixed up with my personal items when I packed out....not my fault". This, too, FAILS, because even after the first 15 boxes were taken back in January 2022, talks continued up until Monday to get remaining docs. He still had plenty of stuff he had no right to have. The Nothing There that was Planted but Just Like B-Hussein-O to Declassified to Inadvertent to----re-enter this loop wherever needed, despite the excuses being inconsistent and contradictory. One key point: No matter what excuse or justification 45 attempts to use, the real question is: Why did 45 think he needed all this stuff? What did he intend to do with it? Wasn't it enough to take a few logo'd White House ashtrays, rather than AT LEAST 27 boxes of documents that include..."word is...LOTS" of classified material. This question is why the warrant notes 45 is under suspicion for violating the Espionage Act. Aside: POTUSs do not get security clearances; election itself is considered sufficient vetting. OTOH, since they never had a clearance, they certainly do not retain one even for a single second after 12:00:01 EST on 20 January as their term ends.

No, NARA was initial speculation by the media. DoJ and FBI have been closed mouthed for the most part. WaPo story re nukes brings in an entirely new issue. We should know more at 2am local time. Never understood 45's appeal. His schtick is so transparent. The Nigerian 419 scammers are more sophisticated in their grifting. I bet those guys would love to get 45's subscriber list, as there are so many marks waiting to be fleeced.
-
One of us will eat his words. Of course if I am correct, I expect only excuses, not crow eating. More will be known after 2am Thai time.
-
They have asked repeatedly. 45 said 'we returned everything'. 12 boxes on Monday says he lied....again. Owing to the extreme sensitivity and unprecedented nature, going through the process was difficult. Make too much stink, and adversaries would know what's at MaL and they would be joining the club in droves. Sometimes in matters so sensitive, discretion is needed, lest it alert the bad guys. Apparently it finally became too much of a threat to wait any longer. As a former case officer, if I was instead, say, FSB/SVR and had assessed the moral weakness of 45 and his known penchant for pure self-interest, I would have joined MaL and assessed it for weaknesses, tried to find access agents to help me exploit it....whatever it took to get close to what I suspected was there. 45 and his family are at best witting fools, and at worst, totally for sale. As a spook those are the kind of hooks one seeks and the personal weaknesses one tries to exploit.

Since this is not classified, I will give some additional insight into what could have prompted the warrant. The most sensitive nuclear related material is kept under locked guard in a part of the West Wing. Only a few individuals have access to it. It is SAP classification, as in Special Access Program. That means above both TS and Codeword classification. There are only hard copies, and their number is known. Disposition of a copy would have to be recorded, so the number is always known. The material is not uploaded into any of the usual systems. Anyone with a need to know is monitored when viewing the material, and when finished the copy is put back into the secure holding area. Access is recorded. If this is the level of material 45 took, it would not only be known that a copy is missing, there would be a record of who took it and when they took it. Thus, if 45 took it toward the end of his term after his defeat, that fact would be known. it has been revealed that one of the FBI agents involved is the Chief of FBI Counterintel. he would only be involved if the material sought had major natsec implications. If this is what 45 was keeping in a basement of MaL, not only is it a felony, but it represents a massive threat to the security of the US. It would be the height of recklessness. It is a brazen stupidity the likes of which is almost unimaginable. The documents under that hardened cover in the WH encompass a number of things, from weapons systems themselves, to strengths and vulnerabilities assessed in the US' own nukes, to US assessment of the strengths and vulnerabilities of both allies and adversaries' nukes, to a kind of nuke 'order of battle' in the event the nukes were ever put into action.. It would not be outlandish to say the Chinese or Russians would pay billions of dollars for these documents. There may not be more valuable documents anywhere in the US. If this is what comes out, it is hard to imagine any but the most captured and sycophantic 45 supporters still standing by him.

I understand math and economics might be difficult for you, but I'll try to dumb it down and explain the 0% inflation number released the other day. Perhaps you didn't notice that people with actual knowledge of economics and data---many who work on Wall Street---loved the number and hence started a massive stock market rally. That is because they understand it; you do not. Here you go: The number is the month-on-month change. That means the basket of goods used in the inflation calculation cost no more in July 2022 than in June 2022. That means that the current inflation rate fell to zero. That is how the numbers are always released, as they were even when 45 was POTUS. The key is reading the release, not just seeing a number you don't like and making incorrect assumptions that reflect quite poorly on you. Think of it like a derivative in calculus. Rate of change over a specified period. Or think of it like a car......over the last year you might have been accelerating from 0-60mph, but in the last month, no acceleration took place. You were going 60mph in June and still going 60mph in July. I'll say it again: this is the same methodology used when 45 was POTUS; you just never paid attention so remained willfully clueless. Anyway, the point is the important people who need to understand the number do, hence the stock market rally. Those baffled by math are always going to be baffled. Sorry.

No, you did nothing in terms of 'fiction'. Your LINK is unrelated, and also dated news. Whether 45 keeps it up or not, in recent hours his legal team has been looking at ways to stop today's unsealing of the warrant. As for Q clearance, which my post was about, it is a clearance issued by the DoE. Many agency guys get it if working the DPRK target or maybe need to visit a US nuclear facility. The fellow who calls himself Q, and who leads a cult of incredibly naive silly people who virtually exclusively are 45 supporters, just coincidentally pulled that letter, apparently not knowing there really was a Q clearance. I'm really not sure what you are getting at otherwise. Here's an insider story that set the stage for 45's entire silly administration: On 21 Jan 2017 Code Pink held a Women's March in downtown DC, with a crowd that dwarfed 45's Inauguration crowd. 45 decided to go to Langley. He sent several buses of his new staff and had the first 3 rows (of 6) reserved for them in front of the Wall (on which some of my friends are represented). Cameras were set up so that the real CIA officers, many under cover, were not in view. Former ExDir Meroy Park introduced him. As 45 spoke 99% about himself, his 'crowd size' at the Inauguration the day before, his 'really kind of genius....like really smart', and other drivel in front of a wall we hold sacred, his barking seals hooted and hollered, puzzling everyone else with the old Butch Cassidy line: Who are those guys?. Before that video op, 45 had held a private meeting with just Mission Center Heads and other SIS-level officers, and his speech was similar....all about how great he expected everyone to think he was. He also took a quick tour of CTC. With all the barking seals doing their thing, real agency officers were appalled. There were lots of "What an a-hole this bozo is !" Everyone realized at that point the US was in a world of trouble, because the country was never going to come before 45's self-interests. A few days later he sent jared and bannon to Langley to get briefed on the surveillance capabilities of the agency. Pompeo, then DCI, didn't even know yet, so he listened in as agency capabilities were explained. They wanted to know how it could be directed against domestic opponents. Apparently they assumed the political proclivities of agency officers, besides the two being totally ignorant of the job of the agency, and where it was allowed by law to direct its resources and capabilities (NOT domestically). Personal experience taught me everything I ever need to know about 45, and why I have no doubt whatsoever that he took highly sensitive documents he intended to use for personal gain. The natsec of the US is of no concern whatsoever to him. I can guess what he intended to do with them, but I will wait until the data is revealed. We will see if I am right.

What is it about a bloated, mendacious, self-serving, corrupt, sociopathic, narcissistic, serial philandering, woefully insecure, willfully ignorant clown that appeals to you so much? Is it "best economy ever" (sic)? The following graphs suggest that oft-dribbled claim is somewhere between "the worst hyperbole ever" and "outright lie". Maybe that "person woman man camera TV" thing impressed you more than anything Houdini or David Copperfield could do? (I'll note in the first graph, the CBO wildly overestimated 45's growth, as they didn't see Covid and his woeful mishandling of it coming. SO he goes from Last Place to Laster Place. LOL !
-
Of course you cannot point out any 'fiction', because there is none. Are you a Q? if so, LOL !. Having long held a TS/SCI clearance, I am quite familiar with both the clearance system and the manner in which one holding a clearance is obliged to treat classified documents. My responsibility did not stop when I left my position. I still happen to hold secrets I am bound by law to keep to myself. Would that 45 had even the slightest interest in US natsec and following the law !

The guy is barking about the long ago discredited Uranium One thing that was made up to try to hurt HRC. The poster didn't get the memo, so still buys into Flat Earth-level drivel. Some people cannot be helped.

45 is quickly losing control of the narrative. Garland called his bluff in every way possible. 45 misjudged, probably never having dealt with anyone so professional and who didn't have to tell everyone how great he is. The warrant was not done in secret, but rather it followed traditional DoJ policy of not making public---so as not to prejudice the public or potential jurors---the reasons or wording of the warrant. The search was never announced by DoJ nor FBI, but only became public because 45 issued a statement. On Thursday, AG Garland did a few things....he asked the judge to unseal the warrant. If 45 thought the warrant was unjustified, he could have released the wording, as is his prerogative. He didn't do it, kind of suggesting it wasn't up to him (which it is), or that he knew the wording would make him look bad. Now faced with the chance the judge will unseal it, 45's lawyers are trying to appeal and block the release, as apparently 45 would lose control of the narrative and lose out on the grift. Also, AG Garland noted that 45's counsel was present during the search, which obviates the chance that "the FBI planted evidence". The reason the search took 10 hours is because not only was material seized, but a detailed inventory of each document was recorded with 45's counsel present. Thus, ZERO chance of 'planted evidence'. AG Garland for the win.

I quote my own post from Wednesday. As I said then, in order for a judge to sign off on the warrant, the material sought had to be of such importance that it represented a threat to national security. If WaPo reporting today is correct, this is indeed the case. We will know more tomorrow, provided 45's new effort to block release of the warrant (why would he want to block it?) fails. If the material is nuke related, this is wildly significant and represents a egregious level of irresponsibility and a total lack of concern for the nation. For those who do not know how seriously keeping even basic classified material secure is taken---much less nuclear material---consider this: Let's say you work at CIA, in the field or HQ. If HQ, the entire property is secure and requires showing a badge to enter the grounds from Rte 123 or GW Parkway. Then to get into the building, one's badge needs to pass the scanner. Then one's branch probably has a cypher lock door. One's office might have an additional cypher lock. The computer is off when not in use, and a password is required to access anything on it. There is no thumb drive slot. There is a special signal generator to mask the sound of computer keys being struck, since the sound of individual keys can actually be read....just is case some hostile service has a laser listener aimed at the room's window (which would vibrate a certain frequency depending on the sound), though the window's too, are special and damp vibrations. Hard copy docs are in special safes, locked. So getting all the way into one's office---on compound, in the building, into the branch, into the office---is not easy. Still, if one so much as leaves a piece of paper with one's real name on it on the desk (if one is under cover) that constitutes a security violation. Get a few sec vios, and one is investigated, likely placed on leave, and equally likely fired. The degree of difference between a real name piece of paper vs something nuke related is gigantic. Still, even minor security violations have serious consequences. Imagine something as critical as nuclear. 45 could be in truly serious trouble, since he was well aware he had no right to hold such material.

Part way through the LINKED article is the full statement made Thursday by AG Garland. It is astonishing in its simplicity and impact. He speaks of rule of law and even 'innocent until proven guilty', which is in stark contrast to "Lock her up". He details the search warrant process and even notes that 45's counsel was present at the search. His statement would make any true US patriot proud. AG Garland was misjudged. I was guilty of misjudging him, mistaking true professionalism for weakness. Garland has more spine than the entire repub party and 45-world combined. https://www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opinion/ag-garland-destroyed-trump-s-attacks-fbi-search-mar-lago-n1297877

I know this has been in the public domain for years, so there is nothing classified.... Friend and foe alike took full advantage of the extremely poor security practiced by 45 when he was in office. Everyone from Russia to China to Iran to North Korea to Israel set up the means to eavesdrop on 45's phone calls from the White House, where he often used his personal, non-secure phone. Many foreign intel services didn't even need to recruit assets in his Admin, as just monitoring his phone gave them everything they needed. He has a long history of being loose with matters of natsec, and has this infantile need to show off and tell folks things they don't need to know all in the hope of impressing people. I would guess that awareness of his behavior played some role in the judge signing off on the search warrant.

It's all over the media now. "Docs related to nuclear weapons" One would be hard pressed to understand why a Game Show host would need to retain Top Secret docs related to nuclear weapons. Certainly it's both dangerous to have such material at a private club, besides being a felony. There's actually a funny irony hidden in this: The QAnon drivel was started by a guy claiming to have a "Q Clearance", which was portrayed as a super duper top top top only the select few with access to everything everywhere clearance. What a Q Clearance actually is is a clearance that gives one access to nuke related intel. It's not a big deal, but someone who works the North Korea or Iran target, or who needs to visit Los Alamos or Oak Ridge, might need to add that to his TS/SCI

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...... Using the term "Cult" to describe 45's base was once shunned because it seemed impolite. Over time, and as that base displayed every trait of the typical cult (the 100% belief system, treating any criticism as blasphemy, portraying their messiah unrealistically both physically and morally, the one-speak nature of their terminology, the paraphernalia that has become an industry in itself), the term has become accepted because it fits like a glove. As for this flaming only going 'one way', that is laughable. Those who haven't drank the Soma are labelled 'antifa', '<deleted>', 'commies'. As for standards of debate, debates are some combination of fact and opinion. the Cult is built upon lies (aka Alternative Facts), so the 'facts' part of debate is forever missing. Goal-seeking 'research' is not anything except confirmation bias. Despite claims by guys like rudy that 'truth isn't truth', there is an objective reality that cannot be changed just because a self-serving charlatan with a painful level of insecurity tries to manufacture alternate reality. 1) 45 lost in 2020; Biden won 2) Under his Admin, it wasn't even close to 'best economy ever' 3) Even his son admitted classified docs are at MaL, and this is....what's the word.....ILLEGAL 4) When faced with illegality, both DoJ and FBI have a job to do 5) 45 tried to foment an insurrection against the democratically elected govt of the US 6) 45 sat and watch the 6 Jan insurrection for 187 minutes doing NOTHING
-
Words have consequences. Given the fragile state of the minds of so many of 45's supports---they did buy into his Big Lie and storm the Capitol intent on hanging the VP because he was following his oath---people in public positions who still maintain an Entry Visa to Reality would be well-advised to stop bad mouthing the FBI for doing its job. The first lunatic who fell prey to the We are Victim refrain tried to storm an FBI field office. That perp apparently was in DC during the insurrection. Law enforcement did the needful and put him down, but he won't be the last. Of course the fever swamp of 45 is already tossing out the usual excuses or conspiracy theories, like 'false flag'. It never ends. Well, I guess that cult member, now former cult member, will get his mar-a-gulago in the sky and I believe 72 buckets of KFC. Is my comment cold? That perp will be missed as much as Ayman al-Zawahiri. He is owed zero compassion. One would hope senior members of the repub party would self-reflect and shut the eff up. Similarly the fever swamp MSM like Fox should do the same. They won't, of course, because going along with the grift is profitable or gets them votes, the public good be damned.
-
Goodness....did you also call the Covid pandemic way back in 2009? Were you Nostradamus in a previous life? Are you holding seminars to share with the less fortunate your galactic wisdom? Maybe something online? That a CULT might get upset because their messiah might be held accountable for his criminality and grifting comes as a surprise to this many sane people over the age of seven: ZERO

The 45 Cult machine is about a day away from going into righteous indignation mode. They use that mode to drop talking points for the cult and get everyone on board with the same narrative. First, 45 will say, "Some people...actually many people...are saying the FBI probably planted evidence. I don't know; I just know I am the most persecuted person ever in the history of the United States, maybe even the world" Next, his mouthpiece or one of his media minions on fox will say it like this: "I don't know....I don't want to say, or I don't want to believe that the FBI planted evidence....I mean, what would that say about our country if even the FBI was part of the Deep State conspiracy...but at this point, who can doubt anything anymore. I hate to say it, but we've fallen so far as a country that I wouldn't be surprised if the FBI planted evidence" While not outright stating it as fact, his mouthpieces will continue to link the terms "FBI" and "planted evidence". Once that simmers for a sufficient period of time, they'll be ready when AG presents his case, when they will then state categorically "FBI planted evidence". Then 45 will foment violence in his usual backhanded way..."The American people are really angry about this, as they should be. Now I don't condone all the talk, but I can understand their frustration and why some patriots might want to use aggressive means to talk back our country".
