Where are you doing this reading? History books? You might as well read about your countrymen stealing lands from the native Australians or about British Colonialism. Ain't nobody innocent. Has the statute of limitations expired yet? Things change. A shut-in like you in rural Thailand doesn't exactly have access to solid recent (i.e., last 45 years) information, but no doubt (goal) seek and ye shall find. Let me guess...you think the agency ran drugs from South America or Afghanistan, or maybe was behind 9-11, because you "did research" on the internet. Aren't you the guy who swears you can make money trading moving averages, in a world where guys like Jim Simons and Ken Griffin and DE Shaw exist? LOL Knock yourself silly if being "aware" (sic) gives your life meaning.

There are additional concerns for a 2nd trump disaster which would have the intel community concerned. They relate to capabilities of US intel and trump’s desire to use those capabilities against domestic critics. I’ll give an example. Imagine an online Forum called, say, EU-Visa. Imagine there are members who use screen names like littlenok or HaveNoMoney on EU-Visa. From any post they upload, no matter if they use a VPN or TOR or anything to try to hide their identity, US intel can identify them. There is no place to hide online. The CIA or NSA can use such capability against non-US Persons, while the FBI can use it domestically. There are rules and checks, so it is not abused (of course those who know nothing will swear it is). Within microseconds a complete picture of someone can be gained…any device they use or have previously used can be accessed. Who they are, where they are 24/7, every social media account they have ever had, their income and tax returns, bank accounts, subscriptions and memberships…everything. Their devices can be accessed and downloaded, so if they have anything untoward on their hard drive, it will be discovered. This is how pedos, white supremacist terrorists, etc., are rolled up, as well as how agencies directed at international crime and terror can find bad guys. It has only gotten better since 9-11. The rules are strict, but if there is probable cause, warrants are issued. This is how the cooperation between the trump campaign and Russian operatives like Konstantin Kilimnik was discovered, and why Paul Manafort was convicted and only pardoned by trump, who likely feared exposure. So…..be careful what you post on this site or Facebook or TikTok or Instagram or Reddit or anywhere, because nothing is anonymous. The intel community knows full well trump would use this capability against critics; hence the fear.

Have you been measured for the box yet? Times 'a wastin' You're not getting any younger nor any more cognizant. It would be rude and unfair to foist the arrangements on those whom you think love you. This began with you feeling you needed to tell me something, for reasons having everything to do with your own dissatisfaction with what you made of your one life. I can only guess why you felt compelled to take a shot at me, but the only thing I can figure is what I wrote: that you had little fun and little excitement since birth, and resent anyone who you suspect might have had more fun.

Yes. How can I post a LINK to things like: Jared and Bannon coming to Langley 23 January 2017 and asking what the agency capabilities are and how it might be used against domestic critics? Folks in the meeting told me. There is plenty of testimony, however, included in some of the indictments against trump, that he did try to weaponize the DoJ, such as hoping to appoint Clarke (an EPA specialist) as AG to halt the certification of the 2020 election. Then there is the "absolute coincidence" of both Comey and McCabe being audited in 2020 by the IRS. Of course anyone can Google Jared and his visit to the Russian Embassy in DC in December 2016, and the reporting that came out of that.

I tried to keep this thread on topic, and because I have familiarity with the intel community, I offered some thoughts on what their thinking might be. The intel community is quite diverse (in the political sense, not woke sense). While the agency tends toward free spirits with a distaste for authority---and in particular a distaste for the absolute authority of people like putin or what trump wishes he could be---the bureau is much more mixed. Plenty of bureau folks lean liberal, but likely the majority lean right. Agency folks, at least case officers, tend to view life as a great game, albeit with a focus toward doing the needful. Bureau folks are more buttoned down. Precious few in the intel community, however, who truly understand the Constitution and rule of law, aren’t concerned with what trump wants to do, and what he actually tried to do while POTUS. Because there are no LINKS, I can only offer an opinion of what trump tried to do during his tenure: absolutely weaponize both the intel community and DoJ. He was stopped by some good people, but none of those people will be around in a second term, should he somehow win. The current DoJ is bacvk to how it should be: blind in its justice. Yes, trumpers will argue, but their accusations of "weaponization" are just projection. Garland took two years plus just to appoint SC Smith, when trump's alleged crimes re 6 January were patently obvious. Certainly the Jan6 Committee and former Rep Liz Cheney (R) saw the criminality. Trumpers here take great offense when anyone criticizes their cult leader, and will attack anyone who suggests trump is anything less than the Second Coming. A lot of that is directed toward me, because I provided my insight into this topic, about which I know a good deal. Trumpers are welcome to attack at will, but in the end, they have nothing but insults, and maybe some fake news they gleaned from ignorant made-up websites. The combined factual knowledge of what the intel community actually does (post 1978 Church Commission) by posters here, particularly trumpers, is zero. That is my opinion, when I read some allegations directed toward the agency. Others are welcome to their fantasies, if it makes them feel better.

Reason? You should try some of that. "It'll be WILD!" (trump's Tweet calling his goobers to DC for 6 January). How about "Go fight like hell" and "You'll never take your country back being weak". ALL of those were his fragile ego loser attempts to overthrow democracy. THAT is why decent people hate him. Democracy is something we cherish. I wonder about your hate. I suspect most is self-directed. Heaven forbid you ever lost access to this Forum, as it seems to be pretty much all you have in life, what with tens of thousands of posts in numerous iterations. This thread is about the intel community's fears for what trump has it mind. It is entirely justified, because trump has no understanding nor appreciation of what US ideals mean. He is 100% self-serving. That you and others cannot see that is astonishing, as he is a transparent as a jellyfish, with an equal strength of backbone.

No. You came at me lacking any knowledge whatsoever of what my career experience has been. You made false assumptions, which I took as an attempt to make yourself feel better about yourself, so I responded accordingly. You may hold whatever opinion you want, despite how wrong it is. I am entitled to do the same about you.

I just show them the picture you posted and tell them existence has a preference for down quarks, which leads to a preference for neutrons, which leads to an uneven distribution of matter and dark matter; hence the uneven distribution of the CMB. Wave particle duality is more cumbersome, but I find I just give them the Schrodinger equation and it's so obvious, they instantly get it. −2mℏ2∂x2∂2Ψ+V(x)Ψ==iℏ∂t∂Ψ You might also find this useful when they ask about something like gravitational lensing. Just tell them it's like grandpa's eyes with his cataracts, leading him to see double. Just having some fun, GG, as I assume you are, too.

I thought the sarcasm would be obvious, as trump's objection is patently absurd. Instead I'll write it this way... trump appears to be against anyone testifying who has any knowledge of the crimes for which he is being tried. I also suspect he knows the prosecution will try to verify the witness testimony by asking them to describe trump's physicality.

The job was quite fun, so if any thanks are due it is to the folks who brought me into the field, trained and mentored me. What most agency officers develop is a real appreciation of what the US is all about (on its best day), as well as a frank awareness of what its errors have been. Part of the latter is why people are so against trump. He is everything that makes the world and any nation's citizens worse off and oppressed. Three things come to mind: 1) on 21 Jan 2017 trump came to Langley and spoke at length...about how great he thinks he is. He buses in dozens of lackeys from his new WH and gave them the front three rows in the agency's entry hall. After a quick introduction from then ExDir Meroy Park, he stood in front of a wall containing stars memorializing agency folks who died in service...and just spoke of himself, his "massive" crowd size for the Inauguration (a lie), how he had more TIME covers than Tom Brady, and how he was "like...really really smart". It was disgusting. 2) trump sent Jared and Bannon to Langley on Monday 23 Jan 2017 to find out how extensive agency capabilities were and to ask how they can be used against domestic opponents and critics. Both had to be reminded by agency legal staff that the agency cannot go after any US person, and certainly not for political reasons. 3) In December of 2016 trump sent Jared to the Russian Embassy in DC to ask Amb Kislyak how a secret back channel could be set up to trump's paymaster and blackmailer putin, so that FBI or NSA could not pick it up. Kislyak was so excited he used an open phone to call Moscow, which the NSA picked up. There was talk of charging Jared with 'conspiracy to commit espionage', a capital offense and the offense that had gotten the Rosenbergs a date with Sparky at Sing Sing. trump's DoJ obviously decided against pursuing the charges.

It is a weak person who makes a comment such as yours, as well as being made out of ignorance. It says much about your own inadequacies and need to project. Your life is likely quite near the end, yet you are so dissatisfied with what it has been, that you feel compelled to attack those who have lived more fully. Maybe time to climb in the box, because it's too late to make up for what never was.

Do some People have no concept of Noise?
Walker88 replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Bob, you could try sprinkling a little Novichok. Russians understand stuff like that. Or offer some polonium tea. -
Though I might be giving them more credit than due, perhaps they understand that trump's continual demands of immunity are an outright admission that he is guilty of all charges, from theft of documents to trying to overthrow the government. trump just thinks he's entitled to any crime he chooses to commit.

You started this exchange and took a shot claiming I lacked an "advanced degree from an accredited university". You lost. You just lost again. If it's any consolation, your hero, who was similarly shortchanged by an impish Universe, got a tryst with Stormy, though she did laugh at his "boyish charm" (trying to be a bit polite here). It only cost him $130,000, and an upcoming trial where Stormy will take the stand. In order to prove her bonafides, she will be asked by the prosecution to describe that donny "charm" for all the world to hear. Her testimony will likely be corroborated by Karen McDougal, and maybe even Marla Maples. Prosecution might even take a shot and call Ivanka to the stand.

As a former case officer, I know first hand what it takes to do the job and what sort of intelligence COs gain access to. One such thing is terrorist threats, most of which are rolled up and prevented before they occur, the public none the wiser. Many times such terrorist plans are credible threats against the President, as getting so public a figure is a major coup for an organization such as al Qaeda. I also know the general feelings of those on the front lines of the intel community toward despots and tyrants, such as the kind of person trump fantasizes about being. Put the two together, and I doubt any case officer would report a credible threat against trump. Take some of that built up R&R time or Home Leave. Let al Qaeda or Jama'ah Islamiya or the Haqqani Network or whomever has a plan do the needful and rid the world of a major threat. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. I also would be willing to bet that should trump travel internationally, not a single host nation or their security would bend over backwards to protect trump. Nobody likes him (save perhaps for putin and Kim Jong-un), and nobody respects him. Take him out in London or Berlin or Paris or Tokyo---oh well, stuff happens. All host governments and all liaison intelligence services are of the same view: a world without trump is instantly a better world. Now donny could try to stuff the agency with lackeys, but none of them has either the brains or courage to walk alone into the dens of al Qaeda or any terror group and do what case officers do. Similarly, I know none of the trumpers on this site have the brains or cojones to do the job. The bloated one would quickly learn that no one who could save him is on his side. He will shudder himself in the WH cocoon and do what he did whenever even a Code Pink protest showed up on PA Ave: run to the WH bunker, coward that he is.

"Accredited" sounds like 3rd or 4th tier. Now if you had said "top", that would suggest an Ivy, or MIT, CalTech or Stanford. However, you didn't say "top" I can say for me, a "top" Ivy and another "top" university for my advanced degree. Heck, I even turned down the school trump's dad got him into, where one professor said trump was the dumbest student he ever had. I had two better choices than Wharton, and chose the best.

If you have any proof that either Biden or Obama was dishonest, go ahead and post it. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you have zilch. Nada. Zip. Zifer.

What would that "BS" be? That they ruined a fake impeachment plot hatched by the SVB/FSB, with Russia using the clowns in the Repub House? In the article they mention Mark Polymeropoulos and John Sipher. Mark is a victim of the Russian microwave op that targeted US Embassies and personnel. John is former Chief of Station Moscow, and knows Russian ops extremely well.

At his Helsinki meeting, he refused to allow any American in the room, save for his interpreter Marina Gross. He also took her notes. Helsinki was where trump came out of the meeting ashen faced, while putin could barely keep his Cheshire Cat grin under control. trump then announced putin had told him Russia had no part in the 2016 election (an obvious lie even the Republican-chaired SSCI did not believe), and that trump believed putin over the US intelligence community. Oh, and in the infamous Oval Office meeting with Lavrov and Kislyak, trump did not allow any other American in the room...not Pompeo, not Coates, not Mattis...no American. The only other person in the room was a photographer---who was a Russian GRU agent.

I don't think you want to match degrees. Real TDS---not the typical projection of trump goobers---is a serious and anti-US affliction. As I wrote, you support a morbidly obese guy who hates democracy, loves dictators, champions cop beaters and feces smearers, not to mention he's a convicted sex offender, a convicted charity fraudster, a convicted bank fraudster, a convicted insurance fraudster, and a thief and pathological liar. He has so many bad points that his 'best' attribute is that he's a serial philanderer. The sickness is clearly on the side of those who support him.
