Would be nice to know what the letter says? Does it say you have a sum of 800.000 in bank @ or does it say you have maintained a balance above 800.000 for 3 months? Or what?

Well even the police get caught..a policeman became gaurentor for his policeman friend.. the policeman friend ended up in monkey house.. can't pay..and the gaurentor policeman lost there house.. as still had to make payments... . So don't become a gaurentor at all..

I found they don't like to return deposit. As they spent the extra money... I paid the last month as I thought this was the way to do it and get deposit back .. friends told me not to pay last month rent... I should have listened to them... How ever I did manage to get some furniture from him at a good price in return for him not having any money to pay me..

What is classed as UK address? Does your name have to be on a UK council tax registration? Or just a UK postal address reg with bank ? Or a house hold bill?

One requirement for such a will is that you must be able to read and write Thai.1658. So we need to b able to read a write Thai? Not valid if not?

Yes feel better about having something.bills can add up fast here in a private hospital... And could cost you easy £10.000 in a flash.. some people say couz go home UK if needed big op. But a heart attack won't let you go home. And besides in my case Thai lady won't be able to come UK and look after me.. so plan on staying here.. but upto you ..do what suits you..

So as I understand this? Thai lady dies husband falang only gets a share? Not 100% of the Thai wifes assets so if there are 6 densendaces he will only get one 6th of her astate? With or without a will...?

All I can say is I chose WRLife as the quarterly payment are with in my budget at £396 . I'm 65 and no heath problems.. but will see if they pay out if needed.. as can't find anything on claims yet ..

Well all I can say is it had the lights.and was just out side a more busy holiday destination. And seems thai ladies to me..so sound's like we were scammed?

its was bangkok bank sent me an email and said no we dont do POD ..and avised i get a joint account and the Kassikone bank siad we dont do it flat out .. seems this is like immigration rules seem to be diffrent for diffrent people and areas ..

3 of us went to check them out This was first time so had no idea what to expect apart from some nice looking girls outside So we were shown in by 3 ladies and sat down We asked the cashier lady for 3 small chang beers as we were going top move on to check out other karaoke bars in the same street .bit like a pub crawl, anyway the cashier lady said only large so we had one large between the 3 of us .. Then asked the ladies what they wanted it seems they said the same as us so got 2 more large bottles. We stayed about 30 mins the girls dint speak any English so just general chat via phone app. No touching or groping like you would in normal girly bars. Any way cost was 980bhat Seems expensive ,bearring in mind as I was planning on giving the lady I was sitting with a tip. So okay 300bhat each for 30 mins sitting with a girl don’t seem that bad, , but was wondering if we had stayed longer what the cost would have been? same again anothe 980baht or are the beers and normal prices and the lady drinks double? Or do you pay normal prices all night for the drinks and pay a service fee of 200 baht per lady per hr. Could be the lady to sit with you like bar fine? We decided not to stay and not to go to other ones as the cost may have been the same so went to a normal farang style girly bar, the cost of a small beer and a lady drink cost me 200bhat, But if we had stayed would it be less money say buying beers at normal price as the service fee for ladies would be already paid? I assume extras at some point would have been on offer but I don’t know this .or are the just pick up points ?. If other people can give information would be good as would like to try again but don’t want to feel like I’m being scammed … or should we just stick to farang style bars

I agree I was looking into an idea that I have seen called pod or tod. Transfer on death. This means a person put on to a bank account and call only get money on a person's death with no probate process.. but a gain I was told do do in my bank and told to add a Joint name... This oversly don't work either..... Think the manages who work in the bank are no more then a caretaker. .no nothing about the real Banking system.. and would rather say no have .then show incompetence

Could someone explain about red plates on cars.. I been told They are on New cars.. but why so many on bikes and cars that are not new. If this is correct why a red plate ? Why don't they get the right plate like in UK. . can't take that long to make a plate surely? And also been told a red plate can't be taken out of the province or go out after dark ? Are they saying someone with a red plate needs time to get used to the car? Seems to me the red plate could just be a seller's pitch. As customer can say look at me...........new car...

With the right paper work any bank should be okay.but as mentioned insurance... They do try to sell it to you but I Said don't want it or card protection.. .

Do women get the same monthly rate of pay as men..if not why not ..as it seems women do most of the work in Thailand.. that you would expect men to be doing..

Probably all good ideas.. but turn this off that on can be complcated. .just get a one year package unlimited internet and free calls to any network any time.. for around 1600 to 1800 bhat.. then not gor to worry for a whole year.. no top ups. Works for me and in the long run cheaper
