'Teak door' forum seems to get away with it and have been doing so for many a year.
The founder died of cancer many years ago, and one of the main long-term posters, Thailand critics and protagonists is now a popular YouTuber!

Did I say that?
Was life in Thailand even the topic of discussion?
Thailand has similar policies to Japan, India, and China as regards immigration, and it is a wonderful place to live. 😀

Thailand is very nationalistic and does not allow mass immigration.
Are you saying Thailand is not a great place to live? It is far better to live here, than in the West imo.

I had the same thing happen to me in Rio de Janiero. Luckily made my flight though!

Thailand is so advanced, it is the only country in the World that is a leading sex-tourism destination, where there is no prostitution.
And so, so advanced, that if you deny it or contradict the official party line, you will be charged or deported for saying so!
Chaiyo!

It's depressing to see these young girls having to work in sex industry to earn money to buy milk and nappies for their babies.
Most sex workers in Thailand have no choice, they have had a child, then the father walks away.
How else can they pay the bills?
In Australia the government will pay the mothers social security benefits and garnish wages from the fat hers.
Indeed. A lack of responsibility for actions is a common theme here.
It should be noted that Thailand has the largest wealth disparity of any country in the World.

Yet another reason to avoid the place like the plague. As if another was needed.

Show us the video where the farang pays. Simple.
The fact that the video does not show the transaction and the money changing hands, and starts from a later point, leads me to believe the farang was telling the truth.
Yes, I know two wrongs don't make a right.

There was a camera in the tuk tuk which you could see what was happening. If the driver were scamming, he would not dare go to the police.
He would certainly go to the Police because they are all part of the same gang down there.

Did the chain have a sign on it or some other thing signifying it was a piece of Police property?
If not, they would have had every right to remove it.

A picture of Thaksin surrounded by 100 of his bodyguards walking down a street he wouldn't normally be seen dead in. Quite ridiculous.
Thaksin was hated in most of the South including Phuket before he went on his extended holiday. I wonder how much that has changed, now that most Thais under 30 have only a vague idea who is or was.
Most of his enemies have had their wings clipped, including former Yellow Shirt leader Sondhi Limthongkul, who was found guilty of fraud and lèse majesté.

Thainess - a complete refusal to accept reality.
Given Thai men like to talk about shagging other women and visiting soapies, brothels etc., when you point out how their country is perceived by foreigners they get annoyed.

Police are speculating that Hastings may have been speeding before losing control of the vehicle.
So no evidence that he was speeding then. Thai Police are really a bunch of uneducated clowns.

I went from a new 2019 Benz to a new 2024 BYD and the BYD is much better in terms of build quality and materials.
Only thing it lacks imo is the UX of the Benz MBUX system, which was best in class when I bought the car.

Scotland is the same limit as Thailand 0.05%
Thailand: Zero for professional or commercial drivers, 0.05% for other drivers, except for 2 years licence holder or who has no a driving licence are limited at 0.02%.
I am assuming that means if you don't have a licence then the limit is 0.02%
