I don't like to brag (well I do really) but hopefully this won't affect us 'cos we've got a borehole now which takes us off grid. This summer before we got the borehole we were over 20 hours a day without water with no indication whatsoever when it would be on.

The only way to compete is to make Thai products the highest quality at competitive prices, so that buyers are confident if they 'Buy Thai' it is guaranteed to be the best. People will tend to avoid cheap and cheerful Chinese imports if they are confident they will get quality value for money.
