I've had low testosterone and been on replacement therapy since I was 18 initially took tablets daily until it was proven that the gut juices destroyed the testosterone and oral medication is absolutely useless. I then progressed to injections (I have used Nebido and Ethantate and didn't find any difference) when I was 28 which allowed me to grow a beard (which I have kept ever since) the downside was aching at the injection site which was sometimes debilitating even though I used a fine needle. As I grew older an inherited muscle wasting disease became apparent in my 40's so the muscle mass in my legs where I gave the injection decreased The injection itself is painless, just have to get over the yuck factor of sticking a needle into your leg but is is the fact that you inject 1ml of thick oily fluid into the muscle which breaks the muscle fibres and causes the ache. Moved on to gel quite a few years ago and found it messy but painless, I just have ensure that I wash my hands thoroughly after applying and my wife or children do not touch the area of skin where it is applied because it can cause hirsuteness and early puberty. It can be washed off after 6 hours so I shower, apply it at 8am and have a shower at 2pm. Now I am used to it I find it much more convenient and less painful than injections. Point to note is that I have had air con installed in the bathroom after the first summer I spent here (44 degrees) because the gel has less effect when applied to sweaty skin (I always sweated profusely after a shower in that summer). I am looking to source the gel in the North East of Thailand where we live now.

Thaksin's Family Refutes Fake News; Misleading Post Sparks Outrage
RobU replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Phew! you are right it is complicated, but the visible facts seem to be that he did good for the lower and poorer classes of Thailand. The cases of financial corruption seem to be very complex and his gains could have set him and his family as the richest (Cash Rich) dynasty Thailand ever had, which is a definite challenge to certain quarters and had to be suppressed. Hated by the wealthy (perhaps because he wanted to tax them more) and loved by the poor (because he would spend the taxes on them). Managed the country to good business principles and brooked no dissent to the point of autocracy but respected by businesses without 'influence'. I have noticed a trend over the years where any non European or Nordic country which tries to set up universal healthcare (as he appears to have attempted) tends to have a military coup or increased 'Rebel' activity no matter whether the government is left or right. Healthcare is a multi trillion dollar industry and universal healthcare worldwide could impact severely on those profits. 'Illegal' drugs another trillion dollar industry whose profits would fall. Terrorists are actually death cults backed by the wealthy of some middle eastern countries trying to expand world influence perhaps the army intervened because they preferred a nice easy life and wanted to cut back on the war against terrorism so it becomes a reason for bigger financial support without actually having too much hassle. (My opinion and I would appreciate it if the Trolls that seem to pervade this forum would cut back on their insults and derision) -

I am relatively new to this forum and to Thailand (4 years). Can someone please post some links to the history of this man and why he is so vilified. I understand he was elected then deposed by a coup and he implemented the Thai healthcare system in use today. -
This has occurred more often since ASEAN Now stopped identifying who posted emojis. Creeps like that can now do it with impunity

He is Australian nationality probably of Austrian or German ETHNICITY (or origin) there is a big difference. Ethnicity is a sub group of nationality and all nations throughout the world are composed of many ethnicities . There may be Australian ethnic groups in Germany or Austria but that doesn't make the Australian nationals -

Good for him white/beige carpet takes a lot of keeping clean and stains easily. Laminate flooring is easy to maintain and clean. Obviously the previous incumbent was more concerned about showing how much status he held by installing a high maintenance flooring (along with other things) to impress visitors

Damaged EV batteries can spontaneously ignite weeks or months after the damage has occurred. Batteries can easily be damaged by driving over speed humps or other obstacles. Electric vehicles involved in accidents are more likely to ignite than petrol vehicles and have been known to spontaneously ignite in scrapyards months after the accident Explainer: Are lithium-ion batteries in EVs a fire hazard? | Reuters There are many other articles describing these hazards on the internet Aug 23 (Reuters) - General Motors Co (GM.N) has expanded the recall of its Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicles due to a risk of fire from the pouch-type lithium-ion battery cells made by South Korea's LG -

I believe similar rules apply in the UK if both parties are under the age of consent the eldest is offered a police caution and placed on the sex offenders register. However if the caution is refused the case goes to court and the 'offender' is usually NOT placed on the register. Police and social workers usually push hard for a caution especially if the eldest is a boy -

According to another article I read the man was extremely provocative. He was very drunk. He sat next to the Thai men and started being abusive. The shopkeeper asked him to leave. The man then made insulting comments about the girlfriend of one of the Thai men. -
Fearless tabby cat saves bedridden girl from venomous cobra

Cats have very fast reflexes and can bat away the head of a striking snake and even catch and kill small ones but this one didn't count on the snake spitting venom. Glad to read in the original article that the owner washed the cats eyes out -

I have said this before: What kind of selection process do they have which allows warped thuggish individuals like this on the force? Is there any kind of disciplinary process in the Thai police? The man should have been suspended immediately prior to investigation and dismissal AND the police force should have paid compensation for the thuggish actions of an officer on duty, they are responsible for his actions whilst on duty. -

Thai girl battles rhabdomyolysis after harsh school punishment

I agree but many Thai children are brought up to defer to adults i.e. a biddable child especially in working class families plus it depends on the personality of the child to be able to stand up to a stronger bigger Adult who could do them serious harm. You have taught your children to be fearless and not to back down, which may or may not be a good thing when dealing with bully personalities who are physically bigger and stronger
