This is a great advert for those being forced to take a 50,000 usd insurance policy when insurance companies are trying to weasel out of paying claims. How stupid are these people?

Do these guys have a dictionary of names they can use? Maybe they get paid for name ingenuity. Makes a change from getting paid for doing nothing

Was at one of the golf clubs at Chiang Mai a few weeks ago when the police were holding a golf tournament. Music played loud on the terrace with lots of booze being served

Two doses now stands at 36.8 million or 51% of the population
So only another 36 million people to go!
The questions are
How many of these people can't get it?
How many of these people don't want it?

I renewed mine last week in Chiang Mai, I'm on the retirement visa. You need a resident certificate from immigration, a medical certificate from doctor. I then registered online using my passport and watched a video in English, lasts about an hour, then came the test. Wait for it, the test was 3 questions, you then print off the pass certificate. Take this and the docs I mentioned with your existing licence to the transport office, they will then process, ask you to do a coloured light test and provide new licence there and then. When I renewed my licence had already expired by 10 months but no problem

Normally the advice would be to ask his doctor and not to ask on a forum like this. But the problem these days regardless of his current health issues doctors are taking a "one size fits all" mentality. So you can't even trust your doctor anymore.

Thailand’s nightlife venues to reopen on Jan 16, subject to assessment
It's best they say nothing rather than making themselves look stupid over and over again

He did not have a jab that was recognized and accepted by Switzerland, does that make sense now...
Like many politicians around the world, he probably hasn't had any jab.

Here's an idea, put up some CCTVs, instead of asking people to grass up others.
The country is broke, no money for that kind of thing.

Hopefully they open pubs/bars in Pattaya soon. I saw loads of "Pattaya looking" types in Bangkok last weekend. I think we are being invaded. There will be rows of Pattaya plated Fortuners jamming up Soi 4 soon, bringing their unvaccinated brethren with them, Chang vests, cargo shorts and all. Sunburnt shaved heads everywhere. Please lord, open a few bars down there - this has to stop ????.
And which city HISOS started this latest panademic in Thailand????

“Following in the footsteps of the Phuket “sandbox” scheme, Thailand’s resort town of Hua Hin is seeking to reopen to foreign arrivals on October 1st, with the expectation that as many as 100,000 foreign tourists will visit and inject 1.2 billion baht into the blah blah blah”…
Based on the tourists that have entered Thailand since Nov 1 would like to see TAT new projected income figures. They could probably count on one hand, but they will need a calculator for inflation purposes

Air passengers who need to change flights in Thailand are not required to hold a Thailand Pass. However, they are required to produce a negative RT-PCR test result taken no more than 72 hours ago and insurance coverage of at least $50,000.
Are they joking?
No they are not, the joke is the jokers making up the rules. Its a joke

83 tourists arrived on a Jeju Air flight from South Korea's Incheon airport.
The flight touched down in Chiang Mai at 10.05pm.

What would be that count, once Sinovac inoculations are isolated?
Given that sinovac recipients have to get other jabs, assume that is the valid number?
Who says they have to get other jabs? Assume your valid number all you want

70 million doses were Sinovac.
Yes it would be interesting to see the actual number of jabs minus the so called useless Sinovac.

Not exactly. It depends what cycle threshold (CT) value is used for the test. If you use a high enough one, it will give a false positive due to the miniscule amounts of similar viruses found in people. PCR tests are generally run with a CT of 40, however it's generally acknowledged by the medical world that only those that show positive with a CT<27 are actually infectious.
Interesting name, you been in the Randy Bin lately?
Exactly, so using a CT of 40 when it's considered by the medical world 27 are actually infectious is dodgy. It doesn't tell you what CT they use on the test certificate either.

I thought that at first but we still have another group being allowed into Thailand..... expecting to go into quarantine.
From the headlines this is referring to tourists on the new scheme, must be double vaccinated. And in this day and age of one sided media reporting if they were unvaccinated it would have said so.
-
Shouldn't it say 10 double vaccinated tourists tested positive, because you have to be to get into the country.
Thai PM’s odd suggestions cause quite a stir
