Don't promise if you can't fulfill and besides that.. sorry for th kids, but it is not a real missing.. education material maybe a colorpage or a small booklet with games and KFC is delicious but expensive and fried even unhealthy.. So practice your thank you and keep it for someone who will do what they promise but don't believe everything

No wonder there are so many terrible drivers and traffic jams if that is really what you were taught.
Maybe that is why in my country there so many traffic deaths in one year as here in Thailand in a day

Maybe the tax department should first set up a good system for their own people, as almost nobody in Thailand pays taxes.. They have n clue what people are doing, earning and possess.... And the ones who pay taxes are not reliable too as we have seen recently in the news.... And when hey have that done, maybe they cold focus on foreigners

Do you "brake" while going through a green light? The truck was going through a green light on a highway... the motorcycle hit his rear wheels.
When I learned to drive a car we always had to slow down at traffic lights.... not braking, but here in Thailand is speeding the only things that counts and than unexpected things occur as there is no time for braking anymore

Everything is under control in Thailand... there is no free market and economy... the only thing ithe government tmust do is taking measures against abuse of the monopolists... And yes I know the most in the Government are owners of the businesses

I don't agree.. there are people who surely deserve the death penalty, but it should be done instead of a live sentence.. Whe was the last one executed in Thailand?? serial killers and so so be executed..

I asked a very successful foreign bar owner what impact this 4am closing will have on his business. He's a numbers guy, so knows revenue vs costs, plus what his staff likes.
His answer: "Maybe during the high season we'll stay open until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays, but otherwise it isn't profitable."
Elsewhere, it seems the government is admitting two things:
1) Even those "dirty farangs" count as quality tourists, and tourism is one of the few things we think we can affect right now to boost the economy (4am closings, legal weed, visa-free for Indians, russkis get 90 days)
2) Though we have no prostitution in Thailand, woman accepting tributes for supplying sexual favors is an important part of Thailand's tourism appeal (put another way: "Beer goggles" will be the norm by 4am, so even the fatties from Isaan will get barfined and be able to send money back home)
It is true, not much will be earned on weekdays, but as Thai culture they don't care... Walked many times around and than a woman is screaming in the microphone and nobody is listening or even in the neighbourhood of the stand, but she pretends there a few hundreds watching and listening..So will be the same in the entertainment industry.. even if there are no guests the singers will sing and perform although nobody is there, but the shop must be open as it is allowed...

... and then start replying to their own posts ??
You think people working in the late night entertainment industry are more stressed because the 'customers' use alcohol and drugs ?
Will they get paid more for the extra hours ???... that could ease a financial burden and generate less stress.
Or... it may give late night staff (restaurants / hotel staff / shift workers etc) an outlet to enjoy themselves.
There are so many variables... looking at this matter though the singular lens of negative myopia shown above is perhaps 'brainless'.
you have experience in night work it seems

Why worry?? the night entertainment will be open too till 4 am...if that is allowed the airport has to be open too to let the millions of tourists who want to join the nightlife in Thailand come in.

To help you understand, brake failure in Thailand is known elsewhere as driving too fast for the conditions. But drivers who do that in Thailand find it impossible to admit the real reason for an accident - their incompetence - as they would lose face.
Thank you for the explanation, I know, but it is still a very weak excuse, just as something happened that they could not help... Losing face in Thailand is bad, but if the reporters would stop with this kind excuses it would be much pleasant to read news... so much things are covered up
