I am not sure but I don't believe empty tankstations and a sudden rise of 6THB is not a policy that deserves a medal. Besides that there was limited petrol available although there is plenty in reserve. The oil tankers which could transit through Hormuz was because Thailand is not involved in the war and nothing to do with negotiations. It was all over the news that Iran allows tankers to pass which are from countries that are not supporting this war. And worst has yet to come with the rising prices and the declining tourists. It will be hard times in Thailand as most people don't have any savings and are not used to save or use less energy

Yes of course Cambodia will seek problems as they are not aware tha Thailand is much stronger than they are. I believe there are no problems yet, but Thailand provocating a bit to distract the people of the incompetence of the oil crisis in Thailand.

it shows again the slow working and incompetent behavior of all parties, with a result time passed.. But in fact it is everytime in Thailand. Boss case is also an issue and it is of ridiculous that even now legal cases of almost 15 years ago will get a verdict. As not long ago a verdict was made over a 2010 !!!! report of a few politicians ... Delays should be limited and case should be finished in at least 3 years time. It should be more than enough time. But corruption is always working, no wonder the country is doomed

If this woman is not suitable why take her husband?? He is involved too. Or do they live separately?? It should be unethical that familymembers could take over the positions. It is really keep the power and money in a few hands. New blood ( ideas and or people) will never get a chance in politics in Thailand

I am wondering how long this will take.. a high speed link and building the whole infra structure, Rama II road construction is a good example of how it is working in Thailand. Besides that the whole travel industry will change now. Over 15 years it will be finished as everything must be done. It starts with approval, than get the land, prepare that for building, and start to build. And Disney is very expensive, and with the declining tourism I am wondering if it such an investment will be profitable here

So now it is not allowed to have casino's in other countries according to Thailand???Maybe start with the illegal ones in Thailand to demolish, and solve the own scam practices in Thailand before interfering in what other countries have or do. Besides that there are much more important issues at the moment than spilling time and energy on conflict at the border. I hope Thailand is not choosing to go further down in tourism and economy

Of course, but the numbers are not reliable... First last week a decline in tourists, this week a big rise of tourists, what will it be next week???And for Songkran it will surge again, but maybe the streets are quiet and less tourists are being seen. But TAT will bend things always that it looks fine

The Thai people are feeling already that they voted and accepted the wrong party/parties. Not even a complete government and the problems occur already. Thai people will be happy with their handout, but now they notice the trap they have trapped in. People's Party is the one that has a vision and should be in charge for the good of the country. But in Thailand never power to the people and as we see already the owners/shareholders of the involved companies are being helped out and the common people have to find solutions for themselves

And the 10 key issues are???? The pilot will end 31 March, but I did not notice anything about it. I see same numbers of motorcycles without a helmet. cars speeding and swirling from lane to lane, many driving in the wrong direction,overloaded trucks and cars, and much more and nowhere policemen to be seen... Or is it as usual an enforcement of 1 week and than business as usual??

Of course everybody must be controlled, always be careful what you say, write, do or don't do... Big brother is watching you... Sadly and that for a so called democratic country and jailtime is always a punishment as there are no other options as electronic bracelets or so....

It is impossible to control everything... it is not freedom anymore but it is getting more and more to dictatorship country.. No freedom of speech, even controlling what to wear and do and now again another item. There are much other urgent matters that need to be solved...

i am wondering if my family of friends come to Thailand and I pick them up at the airport, what kind of driverslicense I need. Rules and regulations in Thailand are always unclear... Some time ago we could read about a manager who took people to the airport as a service, but that was seen as an illegal taxi...

One question how can they get 100 liter of diesel as in many provinces there is a limit of 500 THB or 1000 THB? And even none as diesel is sold out

He lives in Chonburi, but on holiday in Chiang Mai so a tourist. Hiw do you think TAT get such high numbers of tourists every time?

There is already too less fuel, so don't put oil on the fire now... Sad to see that Thailand is not willing to negotiate first, but only one sided take the decision. Thailand can't use an escalation of the conflict now.. Solve problem with the economical situation now first as a result of the Iranian war, instead of wasting money on a piece of land

The persons who disliked my post are not aware that the prices will increase what ever the Thai Government tries to do apparently. It is unstoppable, as all overthe globe it will be the same.

It was predicted that the price would be 33 THB, but still it most not be capped. If people have use less fuel the prices must rise. It will be a normal effect that people will drive less and/or find smarter ways to save petrol., which results in less use .. If prices are being capped nothing will change.. If the price is 38, make it 38, but I know Thailand want to satisfy everybody and that is just impossible, taxis, vans, transportation, tourism everybody will be affected, not only in Thailand but all over the world. Yesterday in the Dutch news that capping fuel prices is too expensive for the Government, but other ways to help the weak is better, cheaper and more effective

Maybe Thailand should start with a good registrationsystem of their own businesses first. We can read several times that hotels, restaurants and karaokebars and many others, don't have a permit, but are operating. THailand forgot maybe that last week there was an article that Vietnam is more interesting to start a business and investment than Thailand. And to open a business you need 3 Thai people who will have 51% of the shares....That is not interesting as The foreigner has always a minority share while it is his investment... but again clean up your businesses first and than chase others

Another illegal establishment.. selling alcohol outside the legal hours. And how is it possible that 8 beers cost 30k?? That is almost 4k a beer. I don't believe that the price was announced as it is far too much and people don't pay for it.. Maybe there are other customers that can file a complaint too for scamming. But as usual the tourist will complain and a sorry and a wai and it will be finished...

Why announce all these things. It will make people feel uncertain and hoarding will be the result... Stop please with this kind of news, as every country in the whole world is facing the same problems for plastics. The less attention you give it, the better it is... It is just unavoidable that prices will rise

The airlines can promote what they want, but the it is the traveler who decides.... And with the rising costs in every country, the uncertainty of what and how long this war will bring, shall make that many change their holiday plans in Europe... And in Thailand a bit strange that airplanes can increase flights, but the normal petrol stations are getting out of petrol.. Double standards.. And I know my car doesn't use kerosine, but in the light of saving petrol, this is strange

Oh my ... again make the people scared and rule..... A lot more problems for the country than a border issue.. Don't they get that???
