And when you bought at the airport where you left already some stuff and buy here again, customs will will check you and confiscate and fine you as you are bringing in too much tax free stuff :)

Most tourists buy their stuff somewhere else.. Duty free shops in Thailand are overpriced and with the restrictions of alcohol and cigarettes there will not be so much to earn for the Government, but what else could they think with their brains?

Double pricing far too expensive and in fact only for people with some experience. hopefully they are closed when the rainy season starts

I am wondering what the court does.. In 15 years time they can't produce a decision.. same as many old cases about Thaksin and Yingluck, delaying everything except if it are protestors.

First damage and destroy than take some measures to try to repair the damages, find out it will not work, blame everybody and safe your face.. That is how things work in Thailand. Advice... stop double pricing, be welcoming to all foreigners, and stop with all stupid ideas..

What a stupid idea.. there are more cars driving around with blacksmoke that pollute more and get rid of all old cars of 25 years and older.. grilling pork will not help so much, but fine burning ricefields, and factories that will emit much more

Minimum wage should be 15.000 THB a month for working days not more 25 and 8 hours a day... No bullsh..t that it is too expensive, or impossible. or whatever.. People are still treated as slaves here in Thailand. Long working days 7 days a week and for 350 THB a day?? and the companies and CEO and Government earn millions...and yes, who plays more on the cellphone instead of doing their job , is responsible for him/herself when they are vfired. Probably when you work you can't have time to play the cellphone. If there is so much time in your job, that you can play the phone than there is not enough work for you

They are so well educated that even simple things seems to be difficult...

No news.. I have said it already months ago...with a conservative Government that only does pocketfilling, and nothing to improve tourism, infrastructure, double pricings, and manipulated THB it is no wonder that it will go backwarts... and of course blame the pandemic but other countries had the same and do better

On Sunday morning I usually do the same... when the alarm goes of I wake up, switch of the clock and turn myself around to sleep further.. Same with the education problems in Thailand.. They are awake now, but after New Year everything will go on as it was and will be, as the government don't want educated people. They know and see things and that is a threat to them

Where does the government think that the money will come from for Thais to pay for holidays? The minimum wage doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room for family cross-country trips. Can those Thais eligible for the promised 10,000 baht handout from the government spend it on travel / holidays?
Joe
Probably with 6 THB a day extra they could have an extra drink on an extra holiday.. Soft power, to boost the economy

Maybe he can start with a working and instructed non corrupt policeforce. Now only some places at high ways have tents, crazy drivers pass nothing happens, no helmets no problems and black smoke they don't see. Check everybody not for tax but drivers licence, alcohol test and put cameras a 500m before the checkpoints so they can be stopped and fined. 24hrs not one hour a day

That's strange but TIT
I have been to the Queen Sirikit Heart Center in Khon Kaen several times for a heart check. No heart doctor referral required.
I initially went to their emergency room, because I was experiencing severe dizziness. They did a EKG and determined that I was suffering from Premature ventricular contractions (PVC ) medication was prescribed that brought the condition under control, and a Follow-up appointment was was scheduled, at the follow-up I reported that I had no incidents, and we reduced the medication to half and was told if I had any more incidents to go back to full strength but if I did not, the next time we meet we will try to further reduce the medication to every other day and see how that works.
Overall I would rate the care I got there as excellent, and very inexpensive,
But as I said TIT this could only be true where I am.
Perhapse you might want to go to a hospital that primarily specializes in heart issues.
Ok, but you had a problem.. I don't have yet any, but in my family p, butlenty deadly heart attacks .. even after check up, as the doctor said you can't prevent it. I only wanted to know if my heart is still in a good condition by a stresstest or so... I don't want to go into the mill of many examinations etc and with a end result of nothing

Could you just not see a doctor and say " I think I have a heart problem" ?
According to the hospital I must have a heart attack...so pain in my chest, sweating, dizzy and/or radiation in my arm... Never mind they want to do it...as you can't prevent it anyway to get a heart problem

i went to a state hospital for a heart checkup. I told them I would pay for it, but the answer was it was impossible.. Only when you have a heartproblem and being sent to the hospital by a doctor I could do it.. No prevention.. therefore I have to go to a private hospital

No clue to solve the problem and to be attractive again for foreign tourists. So local tourist more public holidays more borrowing and loan to show how wealthy the middle class is to go on holiday and more debts.. TAT why are they needed? they have no clue come with fake numbers and ideas that are stupid. And they call it a masterplan..

Seems pretty reasonable that they want to make sure it's your passport, whether by matching fingerprints or facial recognition, obviously every time...
So no need for automatic channels than :)

For people of 65 indeed, but when you are retired at an earlier age it doesn't count... Then you have only 60.000 free as personal allowance and of course the 150.000 zero tax. Now fair in fact pension is pension
