  1. Agree. Two black cars because I like the way look which is important to me. Usually try to park in the shade, but I would do the same regardless of color.
  2. However Khin Win refused to accept it and through a Myanmar translator said: “Money in this envelope cannot be compared to the life of my daughter.” She added that she was not angry with him because she realised he was as sad as she was. She then patted his head with her hand amid the mournful atmosphere at the funeral pavilion crowded with guests because it was the last night of the prayers.
  3. I've been avoiding this debate up until now and only read hit and miss. I only want to second the above is 100% correct. I have the same on more than one account at Bangkok Bank. They also have a power of attorney in my wife's name on record.
  4. Thanks, so don't keep me guessing. ???? Where did you get the shocks? Edit: I did some searching and there are some shops listed in Chiang Mai. I'll have to go see. I checked a YSS shop today but they said "not available yet" for my GR Sport, which I find hard to believe.
  5. Apparently you didn't read my post above. But thanks for your input anyway. It is not the air in the tires or the type of tire. I am not new to this game. Thanks, yes I agree. I was hoping someone may have experience here with a shop that is not, as you state, "some local dude with a shopfront".
  6. Good to see you familiar with GR Sport and I agree with what you said. The Omni Shock and spring changes are one of the selling points on the GR but it is more extreme than I care for. I had "Rancho" brand adjustable shocks installed on my previous Hilux 4x4 but my source is now gone. I think I will try to source some quality after market shocks although hard to find in Chiang Mai. My main question is which has the most affect, the shocks or springs. Where did you see GR Sport Shocks for sale? Thanks.
  7. Thanks for the responses. I have been around performance vehicles all my life and tire pressures were checked and adjusted by me the day I brought it home from the dealer. I have my own compressor and quality gauges. The Bridgestone Dueler HT tires are also not an issue
  8. I have a one year old Toyota Vigo GR Sport 4x4. I know the suspension is supposedly for "performance" but it is much stiffer than any other 4x4 I have owned. Every crack in the road is felt and will literally give a passenger a headache after a while. Will just softer shocks make a difference? Any suggestions? Draw backs? Where?
  9. If anyone seriously wants to know the law and the history behind it, the information is here. Also the answer to a number of the previous questions..... https://www.britannica.com/event/Executive-Order-11905
  10. He wasn't shot for his posts. He wasn't shot for his speech. He wasn't shot due to anyone else. He was shot for aiming a gun at the FBI agents serving a legal warrant. End of story.

  12. Yes! I'm glad you posted, I was just looking for a place to complain. As far as I'm concerned the plethora of pop-up ads has made this site unreadable. Instead of enjoying my time spent on this site, it now just aggravates. A shame as I have been a member for many years.
  13. It appears there may be a large loss of live. Not funny. In response to the many assumptions posted..... "Strong winds tilted the 252-foot (76.8-meter) long corvette HTMS Sukhothai, allowing sea water to enter an exhaust pipe and subsequently shut down the ship’s electrical system, a Thai navy statement said". "The 960-ton Sukhothai was built in the United States and commissioned into the Thai navy in 1987. Carl Schuster, a retired US Navy captain, said the Thai crew faced a difficult situation on such an old ship. “Once you lose power, you are in the dark and doing everything with portable diesel pumps and buckets,” he said. “For a small, (almost) 40-year-old ship in heavy seas, the odds are against success in that case.” CNN’s Teele Rebane contributed reporting.
  14. Its a Swift in my post. I don't know if the Celerio would fare as well.
  15. Something to consider..........Sandwiched after being struck from behind, by a truck, in stopped traffic. The airbags, crush zones, and seat belts functioned perfectly. No interior damage. This one was replaced by an identical model and now, six years on, we have ordered another one. Its my wife's car and she didn't want anything else, even though price was not an object. The new Swift has front and side airbags. There is currently more than a two month wait if the dealer doesn't have in stock exactly what you want. The wife says she will wait.
  16. I just skipped entering the birthday,as it is cumbersome, and the app still worked fine. I tapped the "request" button, and received an immediate call back. At my age I realize that a "stupid thing" like this could someday actually be a lifesaver.
  17. I just installed the app. It immediately showed my exact location on the included map. Out of curiosity I tapped the "request" button. As I hadn't entered a message I figured it would go to another screen. I almost immediately received a call back from an English speaker. I apologized for the false message and he politely said no problem. I don't understand why so many are automatically critical of the Thai Police whenever they actually try to make improvements.
  18. Of course the fact this is the Chiang Mai Forum might give you another hint.
