Please make a report what happen with the most falang withing 104 people beeing treated in the hospital.

    1. How long they stay there ?

    2. What kind of treatement they have ?

No country in western obligate someone to be in hospital if you are infected unless you get sick. Instead you must quarantine yourself at home.

This could scam the insurance with unnecessary cost and big money.

And that is why it is under control as opposed to the west.

Just another question;  I have a retirement visa valid until June 2021, which I hope to use again.  if I enter Thailand on one of these STV, will my retirement visa be cancelled, and how would I get another retirement visa?

I am still not convinced that STV is a genuine scheme.  Seems more like something floated by Thailand to give the impression they are sill open to visitors, but really do not want any to come.  From the postings here, I think that it is succeeding in the object.

Let's face it, most TV members are not part of the "super rich" group that today's BKP tells me are going to be encouraged to visit Thailand to restart the economy.

O visas do not get COEs currently so it would be an entry option, The more important question would be if you can roll into a new O without a border run. No idea on that one. You could probably roll over into an Elite though.

Its not a good hotel, I doubt it if Taipan is open, and from what I have read and pictures seen and stories heard, Phuket is dead, apparently the Thai's have given it the thumbs down as they are still charging big prices for food.

If you want a good clean hotel with a pool and balcony suggest iBis, about a 10 minute walk to Bangla Road.

There was a walkthrough video posted the other day and all the lights were off on Soi Croc. it does not look good for Phuket.

Not 100% accurate; foreigners traveling back to Thailand are no longer limited to official repatriation flights. Emirates started operating from Dubai to Bangkok again about two weeks back. I am on an Emirates flight from Amsterdam to Bangkok next week; and was told by the Thai embassy in The Hague that this was now an option (and a recommended option, since Emirates is flying daily so no week long wait for a repatriation flight).

What about quarantines? This could fill every ASQ slot in a few days. Something does not fit here.

There is no such thing as low salt in LOS. The fish sauce alone sees to that. Why they need fish sauce and salt is beyond me though.

Herein lays the problem.  The people of China predominantly don't want the CCP.  However, they are controlled through threats to their families.  I believe they would rise up if they could, but how?  The one thing they would accept would be governance by Taiwan but not by the west.  An attack on the CCP lead by Taiwan and her (allies) would satisfy their sense of patriatism because the Taiwanese are, after all, still Chinese.  Anyway........................................

I have never seen any indication of this. Most people seem pretty happy with how things are going.

    Taiwan invade PRC? Really? How?

I can't wait for the firework show to begin.

The West led by the US dragging Chinese and Russian biotech through the dirt and issuing dire warning of the dangers and lack of efficacy of their vaccines, maybe even threatening smaller countries like Thailand with sanctions if they buy or cooperate with manufacturing Chinese-made Covid vaccines; then China retaliating in true trade war fashion.  And Russia just circling the wagons, putting her head down, and keeps chugging along doing what she is doing while capitalizing on their "first to the market" market share.

Ahh, geopolitical intrigue.  More fun than a BLM/Antifa riot in Kenosha.

I will take whatever certified vaccine becomes available. Keep in mind that a significant share of Western drugs are manufactured in China, India, Malaysia, Thailand.....  They must know something.

the cost if from 30k to 400k baht (ALSQs in Phuket are expensive) for two weeks, the rate is not fixed.

Well in fairness the 400k is for a family pool villa. The cheap hotel in Phuket is 110k each and the other two are 220k.

I think the 1200 will sell out quickly but to long term residents that will not really add additional money.

They still need a lot more rooms.
