Dan747???? There are 100s if not 1000s of us. If they have any Customer Service organization, Complaints would be reviewed and prioritized on a regular basis to fix irregularities. Some of the banks being mentioned are the largest in the WORLD.
I have an update (?) from Lazada. They will "fix" the 3D issue so other credit cards will be accepted, but since it is an "external" issue, they need time.
- No time frame given.
If this is Lazada's position, it will doing nothing but cut into their revenue. They will not make it up. This is a Top Management decision. The Media needs to get this information. It does not support Visitors legitimately spending money in Thailand. It is not a few disgruntled foreigners.
100% agree and confirm with you. Perhaps Lazada management is slow. Communication up to the decision makers (Alibaba Group/Hong Kong). I would expect a definitive response, eventually, especially if this hits a major news outlet.
Confirmed with Chase: Verified by Visa is a Visa-approved authentication method based on 3-domain (3-D) secure specification, a software protocol that allows secure processing of transactions over the Internet and other networks.
From Lazada today: if your card is not supported for 3D secure, we would like to suggest you also kindly contact the bank issuer for more investigation.
