  1. I read a few times that there is an element of the population that have a high innate immunity from past similar type infections (colds, flu etc) and just won't contract covid no matter what. I hope I'm one of those as I haven't picked it up yet despite not really taking any additional precautions. Then there are also some who didn't get it so far because they radically modified their lifestyle to hide from it. Maybe they will get it when they finally come out from under the doona and barfine their first skinny little bar girl in a couple of years and then she's dripping sweat and panting all over them upstairs in the short time room. Ahh, the good old days are nearly here!
  2. I zoomed in on the photos looking for a camel toe. Is that bad of me to do that or is it perfectly acceptable behaviour?
  3. Likely internal injuries such as organ detachment & rupture, due to the massive deceleration forces.
  4. Leave it long enough and it'll probably fall down. I often wonder what will happen to everything man has built on this earth after we finally become extinct as a species? Saw a Youtube on it a while back which hypothesized nature taking over structures pretty quickly, it was quite depressing actually.
  5. If that militaristic country goes ahead with it's stated plans.....that's yet to be seen what they'll do. If the rest of us stand together, we might just discourage them enough to make them stand down.
  6. Why? It was a fantastic place that perfectly suited its purpose, just as it was. That purpose was simply to have fun, nothing else. If one yearns for a clean, sterile and puritanical city full of judgmental evangelists, feminists and single issue nut jobs all trying to shove their bigoted views down one's emasculated gob, there are plenty such places to be found in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and every other boring western location.
  7. Then concentrate on those infractions. Forget about the Thai guy grabbing you, that's just distracting you from your primary mission.
  8. You seem unnecessarily defensive in your responses to people who are giving you light-hearted, but very well founded advice. I think this defensiveness is further illustrated in why you want to launch an assault case against a Thai for what was essentially a minor dust up.....he "grabbed" you for god's sake. And you were a farang filming the meetings, that would probably <deleted> most people off anyway! Did you ask permission to film during the meetings? You seem to have a chip on your shoulder. To live in Thailand you need to be thick skinned, roll with the punches, keep your nose clean and maintain a low profile. If ever there was a place that embodies the old saying "discretion is the better part of valour", Thailand is it. Mate, just walk away from it and perhaps focus on the problem in your village with the Juristic Entity, that's why you were there at the meeting in the first place right?
  9. He can't possibly be an english teacher? His spelling, grammar and punctuation are below par for what would be expected from a teacher. He would be doing a disservice to his students if he was teaching them at this level.
  10. There's far more beautiful women in the bars...
  11. Online is not the same as close physical contact for a bit of fun. Even when you bring a girl home from online, most won't give you a good soapie. I like to compartmentalise my fun. A soapy today, a <deleted> tomorrow, a foot massage the day after and so on. Sometimes I reverse the order just to mix it up. My mates feel the same as me. So he's wrong, fortunately.
  12. Not me, I'm only interested in the girls, go go's, massage and soapies, that's the only reason me and every mate I know goes to Pattaya and why I lived there for so long. Oh, and some go to play golf, but even then that's just a cover up for mostly flirting with the caddys' <deleted>. We love the chaos, the unkempt appearance and the mostly unregulated freedom of the place. But, if they want to remove the girls and turn the city into just another sterile place emulating the boring cities here in Australia, or the US, or the UK, we'll I guess up to them, it's their city after all. But we won't be going there anymore. And it was us who brought the money in the past.
  13. Great story. It illustrates in detail how life events impact on one's decision making.
  14. It doesn't take much to keep some people happy....you're lucky just the simple act of sitting there drinking beer makes you happy
  15. That's sad! Did you guys make it back to Thailand or did you stay in the States?
  16. Exactly. In fact, it's hard to find more than a handful of nations that are successfully run by 'people of colour'
  17. Yeah, I'm starting to feel like that also, and I'm not even super old. The world is definitely not as nice a place anymore. Greedy, over-populated and teetering on the precipice of war again. We grew up in the best of times when pax americana peace prevailed over us all and we had such freedom through the 60s, 70s and 80s. Now, I really worry about my kids who are in their late twenties and early thirties. In Australia it's almost impossible to buy a house due to stupid gov't policies around negative gearing, our society has gone completely woke, married guys are completely emasculated and wear panties, we're over regulated and over governed and have become a police ruled nanny state. We worry about climate change and think we can control the world's temps within one degree and we don't know how to label the public toilets anymore if it's male, female or something else. All the while communist China has become the world's only superpower since they control almost all manufacturing and are now virtually unstoppable in their quest for world domination which is not going to be a good way to live under communist rule. So yeah, I relate completely to what you said above.
  18. I really don't understand the US, illegal immigrants are just pouring across the southern border..
  19. "....This time the car - fitted with high tech gizmos like an internet connection...." They used high tech gizmos!
  20. True. Although from my own personal experience I see my sisters looking after my very elderly mum and they do a fantastic job.
  21. Bloody hell! That would've been frightening.
