If that’s the case with Dee money and Revolut then neither are really any good KannikaP. Like you I haven’t had any problems with wise really but it appears that some people are. I’ve seen a couple of threads lately with people having concerns about wise. -

Sorry about that I do confess to not looking at the reviews in this case. I don’t use either Dee money or Revolut I just know they are similar to wise. My apologies Farmer Joe. -

Definitely handled it well unfortunately most Thai restaraunts don’t understand how taking a legal course of action can have a detrimental effect on their business. Loss of face is a bigger issue. -
I most certainly don’t pretend to be an expert in Asia and most Thai political issues. Yes I do live in Thailand, not married yet I marry next week and I’m not obsessed with posting.

I’ve literally just done a transfer and it took 7 seconds. I generally only transfer once a month and have never had any problems. I transfer from UK. Not sure why there’s a hold up for you. Other companies try looking at Dee money or Revolut. -

Had the snip 30 years ago so no worries about babies. In a long term relationship so go bare back should that end then it would be condoms all the way. Don’t like them but most certainly want protection with a lady I know nothing about.

Completely agree with what you are saying words that start with Ng are the killers for me. I have to seriously think about how to say them before I actually speak. It’s almost like getting the mouth, tongue and throat aligned before I deliver the word. I like snakes but struggle like hell with with the Thai word.

Have lived here for just over 7 years and I speak reasonable Thai. I could live here another 20 years and genuinely don’t think I would ever class myself as being fluent. I’m happy so long as I can make myself understood some of the time. I have found there are Thais who just don’t want to engage or maybe it’s my mispronounciation which causes the issue. Whatever it is I don’t get mad about it.

Mine works but didn’t for the first 5 years we were together. She earns about 13K a month as a seamstress. I don’t see any of the money though as she saves it for any house improvement ideas she has. I paid to have the house built she pays for other add ons she wants.

I’m similar to you I too budgeted on around 70k a month and I actually spend approx 46k. What I now do is adjust the amount of my military pension I send over here per month to about 50k and leave the rest in the UK building up for my uk return shopping and family visits. Amount im saving is approx £500 pound a month in total.
