  1. If you think the case was so weak, why did you misleadingly edit the text you quoted from that article. Given that Barr mischaracterized the report and quashed further possiblities of investigation, we'll never know. We do know that Mueller listed 10 possible counts against Trump that could have been brought were he not President. And did you not read this from that same article: "Our investigation found multiple acts by the President that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations,” Mueller wrote. “The incidents were often carried out through one-on-one meetings in which the President sought to use his official power outside of usual channels. These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General’s recusal; to the attempted use of official power to limit the scope of the investigation; to direct and indirect contacts with witnesses with the potential to influence their testimony.”
  2. By your ridiculous criteria nothing could ever be proved. And here's your question once again that you directed at Chomper Higgot: "Do you have evidence to the contrary?" That report is chockful of evidence to the contrary. One would have to believe that Johnson is a mooncalf not to have understand that he was being dishonest. And finally, there's this perceptive comment from a teacher of Johnson's at his public school that explains so much about his conduct: He wrote: "Boris really has adopted a disgracefully cavalier attitude to his classical studies. [He] sometimes seems affronted when criticised for what amounts to a gross failure of responsibility (and surprised at the same time that he was not appointed Captain of the school for the next half). "I think he honestly believes that it is churlish of us not to regard him as an exception, one who should be free of the network of obligation that binds everyone else." https://www.thenational.scot/news/19858214.boris-johnson-school-letter-eton-teacher-despairs-pms-effortless-superiority/
  3. A neutral point of view? That is to laugh. In fact, the report offers a huge amount of evidence that would demand a huge aerobic effort to be dismissed as biased. Die-hard supporters of Johnson must be exhausted from it.
  4. When I quote 2 separate parts of something I put ellipses (...) to indicate I have left something out. You gave no indication of any sort what you left out. Here's what follows the "difficult legal issues" paragraph. "Factoring into his decision not to weigh in on prosecution, Mueller wrote, was an opinion issued by the Office of Legal Counsel finding that “the indictment or criminal prosecution of a sitting President would impermissibly undermine the capacity of the executive branch to perform its constitutionally assigned functions” in violation of “the constitutional separation of powers.” “Because we determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgment, we did not draw ultimate conclusions about the President’s conduct,” Mueller wrote." Kind of makes a huge difference to the impression that your misleadingly edited would otherwise have left, no?quote? And there's more. The article quite clearly states that Barr lied when he claimed that the White House and Trump cooperated fully with the investigation. And there's a lot more. I honestly don't understand why you quoted an article which so forcefully and in so many ways undermines what you claim.
  5. Did you just look at the cover? So, no evidence in that report huh? Just opinions? You really want to go with that?
  6. As the Mueller report noted, Mueller felt he had a strong case to make re obstruction of justice. In this case, among other things, letting those being investigated know that he wasn't ruling out pardoning them. The only reasoh he couldn't beig charges against Trump was that it's Justice Dept policy that a sitting President not be prosecuted for criminal activity. And, in fact, he did pardon them. So information that they might have had was kept from the investigators. And, in fact, when the report was released, it was clear that Barr had dishonestly characterized its findings. His claim that the inquiry did not take a clear position on whether Trump obstructed justice was a bald-faced lie.
  7. 'well, the bad news is even if these hydrogen vehicles are successful, that will be because the cost of hydrogen has come way down. The cost is coming down and that's happening because electricity generated by renewables is being used to create hydrogen from water.

  9. Greedy medical con artists who want to keep them alive and feeling better so they can extract more money from them than they can from a corpse. It's a good thing that these expert legislators have decided to protect these kids from feeling better and continuing to live. Suicide Risk Reduces 73% in Transgender, Nonbinary Youths with Gender-Affirming Care Transgender and nonbinary youths have particularly high rates of poor mental health outcomes compared with their cisgender counterparts. According to investigators, these disparities are likely a consequence of social rejection, lack of support from parents, bullying and discrimination. Multiple sources of previously published research, found medical gender-affirming interventions to be helpful in improving the quality of life for transgender and nonbinary youths by decreasing rates of long-term mental health adverse outcomes https://www.hcplive.com/view/suicide-risk-reduces-73-transgender-nonbinary-youths-gender-affirming-care Gender affirmation is linked to improved mental health. There’s no evidence it drives youth suicide. Dr. Jack Turban, assistant professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of California San Francisco, cataloged for Psychology Today 16 studies that examined mental health and gender-affirming care. Thirteen of them showed an association between access to gender-affirming care (including puberty suppression and hormone treatment) and better mental health, including fewer instances of suicidal thoughts and lower rates of depression. Three of the 16 studies did not find statistically significant results. 10. The following is from Judge Andrew Napolitano, formerly a commentator for Fox and a very rightwing person. He offers a very clear explanation of why the evidence against Trump in the Mar a Lago documents case is so damning: Judge Andrew Napolitano: The case against Donald Trump "It gives me no joy to write about prosecuting former President Donald J. Trump. He and I have been friends for nearly 40 years... Knowing him as I do and knowledgeable of the law and federal criminal procedure, I can state that he is his own worst enemy, and the feds — of whom I am often highly critical — had no choice but to indict him." https://www.ocregister.com/2023/06/15/judge-andrew-napolitano-the-case-against-donald-trump/
  11. Your post shows how Barr reported the results of the Mueller investigation. For which he was raked over the coals by the Federal judge overseeing the process: Judge slams Barr, orders review of Mueller report deletions A federal judge excoriated Attorney General Bill Barr on Thursday for distorting the findings of special counsel Robert Mueller during his investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Ina stinging 23-page opinion, U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton said Barr’s efforts to spin the report before its public release last year raised serious doubts about whether the Justice Department faithfully applied the law when deleting certain information from the publicly disclosed version. “The Court cannot reconcile certain public representations made by Attorney General Barr with the findings in the Mueller Report,” wrote Walton, an appointee of President George W. Bush. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/05/judge-slams-bill-barr-122449 In fact, Mueller listed 10 possible counts for prosecuting Trump including several obstruction of justice charges. At least one of those charges had to do with Manafort and his involvement with the Russians.
  12. Right. It was a birthday meeting meant to investigate whether or not Johnson's mother was a virgin.
  13. Really? Feeling inventive, are you? https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(20)31142-9/fulltext https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-021-23404-5#Fig1
  14. Even if Corcoran is not allowed to testify, the fact is that the document he authored that was signed onto by another lawyer is patently false. And it will be easy to show that Trump must have known it was false. After all, classified documents were found in his bedroom, mixed in among his other personal effects. Since the attorney was an agent of Trump, Trump will be liable for allowing a false document to be conveyed to the Justice Dept.
  15. Maybe where you come from, time flows backwards. But the Labour party offered evidence subsequent to that claim. Apparently, it satisfied the Durham police.
  16. Starmer was having a meal with his colleagues. whilst working. The work continued after the meal. "Labour says it has evidence that staff continued working after eating a takeaway at an event being investigated as a potential lockdown breach. A party source says "documentary evidence" shows Sir Keir Starmer's team were working until 01:00 BST. Durham police are investigating reports of a gathering where the Labour leader ate a curry and drank a beer at an MP's office during an election visit." https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-61389100
  17. Actually, there seems to be a lot of potential testimony to the contrary including but not limited to Evan Corcoran, his lawyer.
  18. You think that a first rate prosecutor like Jack Smith is likely to misrepresent the evidence?
  19. Given that they overwhelmingly believe that the elections were stolen even though Trump hired 2 teams of investigators who both concluded that wasn't the case, it's absolutely clear who's living in a world that's not this one.
  20. So, Trump's unreliabilty and inclination to lie are are going to play very well with a jury?
  21. Deflecting much? Do you really expect me to take such obvious bait? The fact is that Trump supporters are operating in an alternative reality. And we have no reason to believe that these extremely sore losers will behave any differently should Trump lose again.
  22. Really? He's being held accountable for eating cakes on his birthday? Had he abstained from eating cakes but still attended the venue, there would have been no problem? Any more blatant falsehoods you'd like to share with us?
  23. What has that got to do with the fact the the majority of Trump supporters believed that the elections were stolen? And still refuse to accept the results? As I pointed out, this denial of reality led to the invasion of the Capitol. What's worse the majority still believe that the elections were stolen. Why should we believe that, in the event Trump gains the nomination and loses the election, their behavior will be any better next time around?
  24. It seems perfectly clear from your comment re 9 year olds that you are operating here reflexively.
