  1. Which Bidens are you referring to? This is your typical and repeated dishonest trick of trying to lump Joe Biden in with his son and brother. And while Hunter Biden didn't pay taxes on any of his income for years, there's no evidence revealed that I know of that shows he hid the Chinese money from the IRS. In fact, we do know that Hunter Biden submitted this tax returns without payment. So he reported himself. Do you know that he didn't include the Chinese payments in his returns? Stop making things up.
  2. I'll be charitable and assume Longwood has me on ignore since ince I've debunked all his claims. First off, even if a marijuana test is positive, it doesn't mean someone is under the influence Traces can persist in the blood for up to 7 day, in urine for 3 days, and in the hair for 90 days as I noted above. Not only is the hair follicle test unreliable, but the authorities have no proof that's what the test showed. They claim they didn't keep the results. And hair follicle tests, even if they were accurate, don't show that someone is currently under the influence. It only tests for past use.
  3. Tell that to people who depending on melting ice when in the hot dry season when there's no rain.
  4. I don't know about Al Gore, but here's what climatologists say: More than 99.9% of studies agree: Humans caused climate change More than 99.9% of peer-reviewed scientific papers agree that climate change is mainly caused by humans, according to a new survey of 88,125 climate-related studies. The research updates a similar 2013 paper revealing that 97% of studies published between 1991 and 2012 supported the idea that human activities are altering Earth’s climate. The current survey examines the literature published from 2012 to November 2020 to explore whether the consensus has changed. https://news.cornell.edu/stories/2021/10/more-999-studies-agree-humans-caused-climate-change
  5. "At least Putin is attempting to annex a region contiguous to Russia and as I understand it is home to mostly Russian speaking Ukrainians." Oh, invading and keeping by conquest is better? Really?
  6. It's clear that Joe Biden is guilty...of being Hunter Biden's father and James Biden's brother.
  7. You might want to direct that remark closer to home: Antarctic Ice Loss 2002-2020 The mass of the Antarctic ice sheet has changed over the last decades. Research based on observations from the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellites (2002-2017) and GRACE Follow-On (since 2018 - ) indicates that between 2002 and 2020, Antarctica shed approximately 150 gigatons of ice per year, causing global sea level to rise by 0.4 millimeters per year. https://grace.jpl.nasa.gov/resources/31/antarctic-ice-loss-2002-2020/ Previously Unknown Loss of Antarctic Ice Discovered by NASA – “Antarctica Is Crumbling at Its Edges” New NASA research on Antarctica, including the first map of iceberg calving, doubles the previous estimates of loss from ice shelves and details how the continent is changing. In forecasting global sea level rise, the greatest uncertainty is how Antarctica’s ice loss will accelerate as the climate warms. Two studies led by researchers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Southern California reveal unexpected new data about how the Antarctic Ice Sheet has been losing mass in recent decades. https://scitechdaily.com/previously-unknown-loss-of-antarctic-ice-discovered-by-nasa-antarctica-is-crumbling-at-its-edges/
  8. Even if I agreed that that those foreigners were paying Hunter Biden, James Biden and that daughter-in-law in the hopes of gaining access to Joe Biden, there is no evidence that they succeeded In fact, not only did the Chinese venture fail, but Ye Jianming, the founder and chairman of CEFC, was jailed by the Chinese Govt in 2018 on charges of bribery where he remains to this day. Is this the person who Comer accused of being an agent of the Chinese govt.? Ye was detained and put under investigation in March 2018 on suspicion of economic crimes.[9] According to South China Morning Post and AsiaNews, the order for the investigation came from Chinese Communist Party general secretary Xi Jinping.[10][11] Shanghai Guosheng Group, a portfolio and investment agency controlled by the Government of Shanghai, subsequently took control of CEFC China Energy in March 2018.[12][13] In October 2018, it was reported that prosecutors alleged Wang Sanyun, former Communist Party Secretary of Gansu province, had accepted bribes from Ye Jianming in 2011.[14] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ye_Jianming Not only that, but Hunter Biden only began to do business with CEFC in 2017, when Joe Biden was no longer vice- president. As for Joe Biden having met with Hunter Biden's business associates. In 2015 Joe Biden dropped by a dinner for the World Food Program USA charity that Hunter Biden was holding. Some of Hunter Biden's business associates were there. There were also people there who weren't his associates. No evidence of any substantive discussions took place. It's not even clear that Joe Bide was even introduced to these people.. “I remember the vice president coming in, and he did not go around the table. He just simply waved at everybody,” recalled one attendee, Father Alex Karloutsos of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. “I did not hear any business exchanges with anybody.” https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/11/us/politics/hunter-biden-investigations.html Another instance where Joe Biden met Hunter Biden's associates, took place at a rope line in China where 2 of these associates along with other Chinese people shook Biden's hand. Biden was briefly introduced to these 2. Is it unreasonable to assume that he didn't recall such a brief and public encounter? https://www.nytimes.com/2023/01/11/us/politics/hunter-biden-investigations.html It's also worthy of noting that when Biden became VP, Hunter Biden gave up his lucrative Washington D.C. lobbying business.
  9. I've noticed a tendency among debunkers of EV's to assume that the future will be like the past but on a grander scale. So there are all sorts of dire predictions about running out of rare earths or lithium or cobalt when it's extremely likely that these materials will ultimately be phased out in favor of more elements that are more abundant and less polluting . Already there are EV batteries that don't use cobalt or lithium. And even if Tesla's current claim about rare earths turns out to be false, which is not entirely unlikely given past promises, there are plenty of competitors doing serious research and development.
  10. The definition of "inane" is lacking content. I offered actual evidence to debunk your claim. In reply to my listing of the faults with your argument you answered with one word: "yes". That is the epitome of "lacking content". And, once again, you offer no evidence and no reasoning. In other words "lacking content". Which means it's inane.
  11. This is a blatantly false statement. From the landing page of this forum: "Any alleged factual claims must be supported by a valid link to an approved credible source." "The supposed "global cooling" consensus among scientists in the 1970s — frequently offered by global-warming skeptics as proof that climatologists can't make up their minds — is a myth, according to a survey of the scientific literature of the era. The '70s was an unusually cold decade. Newsweek, Time, The New York Times and National Geographic published articles at the time speculating on the causes of the unusual cold and about the possibility of a new ice age. But Thomas Peterson of the National Climatic Data Center surveyed dozens of peer-reviewed scientific articles from 1965 to 1979 and found that only seven supported global cooling, while 44 predicted warming. Peterson says 20 others were neutral in their assessments of climate trends." https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/story?id=4335191&page=1
  12. Are private Chinese companies America's adversaries? And what's this nonsense about the Biden family? The Biden family didn't receive payments. Biden's son, his brother, and daughter-in-law received payments. There is no evidence that Biden received any payments. You repeatedly fail to acknowledge that in the laptop emails Hunter Biden reported that his father gave gave an "emphatic no" when asked to participate in dealings with the Chinese. You are being very dishonest.
  13. There is no evidence that Joe Biden received any money from a private Chinese company.
  14. Some people may believe that tests for marijuana use are comparable to tests for blood alcohol level via a breathalyzer. But alcohol doesn't linger in the body the way marijuana cannabinoids and metabolites do. https://www.testing.com/tests/marijuana-thc-testing/
  15. Russia is due to take its turn as Security Council President. Not Putin,
  16. No. It's incumbent upon the person who makes the claims to provide support. I'm not your fact checker.
  17. Study links 35 percent of Chinese Belt and Road Initiative projects to scandals involving corruption, environmental problems, labour violations Over the past several years, hidden debt and problematic projects have begun to emerge as a feature of Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s signature Belt And Road Initiative (BRI). A new deep-dive study from AidData, a research center at the College of William and Mary in Virginia, adds to this body of research and paints a picture of growing headwinds against Beijing’s infrastructure initiative. The study found 42 low- and middle-income countries that now have debt exposure to China exceeding 10 percent of their annual gross domestic product (GDP). https://www.business-humanrights.org/en/latest-news/study-links-35-percent-of-chinese-belt-and-road-initiative-projects-to-scandals-involving-corruption-environmental-problems-labour-violations/
  18. The Western world was predicting China's collapse? Really? Did foreign investment in China collapse in that year? There's a rule on the landing page of this forum which you should acquaint yourself with. "Any alleged factual claims must be supported by a valid link to an approved credible source." So share a link with us to prove your claim.
  19. I assume you meant "toting a gun". Do you know if the gun was loaded? Do you know where it was stored. The fact is that the same right wingers who usually jump up and down in defense of the first amendment are here stating that it's a strike against this couple that there was a gun in the car. A gun which is completely legal to carry in the state of Tennessee. The fact is lots of Americans own guns. What Percentage of Americans Own Guns? Thirty-two percent of U.S. adults say they personally own a gun, while a larger percentage, 44%, report living in a gun household. Adults living in gun households include those with a gun in their home or anywhere on their property. https://news.gallup.com/poll/264932/percentage-americans-own-guns.aspx The demographics of gun ownership Two-thirds of gun owners say they own more than one gun, including 29% who own five or more guns. About seven-in-ten say they own a handgun or pistol (72%), while 62% own a rifle and 54% own a shotgun. Among those who own a single gun, most (62%) say that gun is a handgun or pistol, while far fewer say they own a rifle (22%) or a shotgun (16%). https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2017/06/22/the-demographics-of-gun-ownership/ About 75% of Americans are 18 or older. So that would number about 250 million Americans. 32% of 250 million is about 83 million Americans. So what's your point about deer or duck hunting? And you're claiming that they are probably heavy drug users to boot? Really? Based on unreliable follicle tests. What's worse, even if follicle tests were reliable, the state claims that they didn't actually keep the results of those tests. So there's now way to prove whether they're being truthful or not. That doesn't strike you as being bizarre? Care to comment on any of this? Or are you just going to continue to make unsupported allegations that demonstrate only that you didn't read the article carefully and that you know very little about America. Edit. I should have noted that 70 percent of those gun owners own handuns. So that would bring the total number of handgun owner to somewhere around 58 million.
  20. What an evidence-free comment. Just because the car wasn't stopped because of the race of the occupants, what does that have to do with how the police reacted once they did see the race of the occupants? This couple was not in possession of dangerous drugs at the time of their arrest. And the only alleged evidence was the results of unreliable follicle tests. What's more, when challenged to produce the documentation supporting that claim, the agency in question maintained that they didn't keep the documentation showing results of those tests. Which is bizarre. So there is absolutely no existing evidence that the results of the test actually showed what the agency claimed. So share with us, what are the obvious problems these people have? That the father tested positive for marijuana use? A test which doesn't even show whether or not someone is currently under the influence? A mother who tested negative for marijuana use? A gun in the car which is perfectly legal in Tennessee? What more, do we even know if the gun was loaded? Do we know where that gun was stored? You've got nothing except nonsense to support your case.
  21. So much nonsense here. The first link is not about criminal corruption at all, but rather about the inherently corrupt American political system where political donations of all sorts have skyrocketed since the right-wing supreme court ruled that cash donations are protected by the 1st amendment. You know, money talks. The author of that Guardian articles predicted that Biden would go easy on the wealthy because of those contributions. But, in fact, as it turned out, Biden introduced bills that had they passed as he intended, would have taken a substantial tax bite out of wealthy. As it is, it took enough of a bite to pay for the new programs he introduced. As for that dishonest New York Post piece... First off, the sentence cited from Hunter Bidens email about the "big guy" was not "10% for the big guy." but "10% for the big guy?" And even if it was Joe Biden who was being referred to, there was a subsequent email from Hunter Biden which said the chairman gave an "emphatic no" when asked if he wanted to be involved in the China business.
  22. China is still benefiting from the time before Xi began putting a stranglehold on the private sector. Before Xi, there was a certain collegiality among the top officials. No more. It's now one man rule. This hasn't been the case since the Mao era. We know how that ended.
  23. You sure about that? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9881213/Unearthed-video-shows-naked-Hunter-Biden-claiming-Russian-drug-dealers-stole-laptop.html
