  1. You seem to be operating on automatic pilot. What did you think this sentence of mine actually meant? "As for late term abortions, if the fetus is healthy, no. But, as usual, you focus on something that's extremely rare, if even existent. But the issue is discrimination against women. And even if you call a foetus an "unborn women" is abortion inherently discriminatory against female fetuses. In developed nations like the USA, not. But it is a problem in countries like India and China where women are 2nd class citizens. Unlike transgenderism, this disparity is reflective of the huge discrimination women are victims of in most of the world.
  2. What makes your argument so obviously suspect is that Russia is not a disinterested party. Putin has made it clear that he wants to restore the old Russian empire. It doesn't really give one much faith in Russian claims given how they held elections in recently captured territory in Ukraine.
  3. I'm not the one who used the phrase "unborn child" instead of fetus. That's a dead giveaway. As for late term abortions, if the fetus is healthy, no. But most late term abortions are done either because there is a threat to the health of the mother or the fetus isn't viable.
  4. In a way, thought not as you intended abortion does exemplify discrimination against women. Not in developed nations like the USA, which you are clearly obsessed with, but in countries like India and China where female fetuses are aborted disproportionately. But this is a reflection of the inferior status of women in these countries.
  5. By calling the foetus an "unborn child" you're already giving away where you stand on the issue.
  6. Violence against women is a huge problem. Violence against biological women by transgenders, not so much. Or do you have some sound statistics to show otherwise?
  7. You started out by claiming you're torn about the issue. And now you're claiming a foetus has "the rights of an unborn child."
  8. Such nonsense. Transgenderism works both ways. Are men being affected by it? How does the uncertainty in definition affect the vast majority of women? Yes, it's a problem in women's sports. But a big one? Are there lots of incidents of women being raped or attacked by transgenders. Such a tiny problem compared to the huge challenges facing women around the world.
  9. The vast majority of women are not affected by transgenderism. It's laughable that you believe this is a serious problem. Especially when compared to the challenges and discrimination faced by women in most of the world.
  10. You consistently evade the issue. You originally contended that the total of his sentences amounted to 18 years. That is false.
  11. Always interesting to see how obsessed those on the extreme right are with transgenderism, an issue which affects only a very small percentage of the population. Guterres was mostly referring to actual serious problems like the situation in Afghanistan or the rollback of reproductive rights.
  12. The thing is, there is already plenty of videos showing the violent behavior on part of the rioters. So how do videos showing non-violent behavior contradict that?
  13. Actually, there's excellent 65% dark chocolate coming out of Indonesia now. So far, it's being manufactured as big round flat chips (callets). The name is Embassy. You can probably order it via Lazada if you're in Thailand. Thanks to the recent cultivation of high quality cacao trees. in Chiangmai, very high quality chocolate is also being made there. Kan Vela is one such producer. But it ain't cheap.
  14. He had majorities in the House and Senate. What has Sessions got to do with a legislative agenda?
  15. Just Dems? Tucker Carlson’s Jan. 6 footage sparks bipartisan outrage Fox News host Tucker Carlson whipped up a firestorm Tuesday on Capitol Hill, sparking bipartisan backlash and igniting tensions with Capitol Police by downplaying the Jan. 6 Capitol riot on his prime-time program as “mostly peaceful chaos.” His show divided Republicans, with a number of GOP senators ripping his portrayal of the incursion at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, who rarely offers opinions on political issues, said the Monday night show was filled with “offensive and misleading conclusions about the Jan. 6 attack. https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3888709-tucker-carlsons-jan-6-footage-sparks-bipartisan-outrage/
  16. But those other conflicts weren't about absorbing your neighbors. Not about enlarging your nation through conquest.
  17. According to a Bangkok Post article dated oct 17, 2565 BYD offers an 8 year/160000 kilometer warranty on the battery. Does your research contradict that?
  18. You don't think this has anything to do with the fact that Russia was attacking its neighbors like Georgia and Moldova?
  19. Could you share with us the links to the poll you took to confirm this? I'm sure you wouldn't be making stuff up just out of political bias.
  20. You've had experience in dealing with these children. From the article you linked to: "Without puberty blockers, such physical changes can cause severe distress in many transgender children."
  21. In fact I have read the whole of the thread Here's how you launched it: "The man has served 18 years more than the sentence he is serving. Can they keep him imprisoned just because of what a few parole officers think of him?" You got it wrong from the start. A discretionary life sentence means the expiration of all those other sentences don't matter. The life sentence remains in force unless the authorities decide otherwise.
  22. Seems many don't understand that the Life of Brian wouldn't have worked as humour or anything else for that matter if there hadn't been a Jesus for us to reference in the first place. On the other hand, your comment that "it even says Brian in the first place" is in itself worth a laugh.
