I heard the boxing ring / arcade might become the centre of sin. The guy that told me was a bar owner in there....lol.... Tried to convince me NOW was the time to buy, with the moat end bars closing down soon. Looking at his 'wife' who was clearly part of the scene when he was not around, I could tell he was one sharp cookie. So if you wanna part with half a million for a shack with no title deed get into the boxing arcade real quick. Lol. LMAO
Was his name Edward by any chance?

Educate me .. you know you want to!
If you're really a TEFL teacher, what's the mistake in your sentence?
TEFL teachers do that every week not just for 9. And we are being put through the ringer, many unable to meet the ever changing regulations and rules. Why are so many of you being negative? They are not here to change the world. They're here to provide students with exposure to a foreign language. Any exposure to the language is a good thing regardless of the duration.
I'm thinking you are referring to my typing 9 rather than nine!
But I will await your valuable input, obviously stressing the fact that THIS is an informal forum and not a Cambridge test.

Hi
My neighbour has just informed me that there's a new road going through, and our houses will have to be demolished to make way for it! (Along with Wang Tan Restaurant!) Does anyone know where the website is with the proposed route on it? I can't find it using google (maybe it's a Thai only site)

There is no service charge in CM
Just 7% vat that is added to the bill
So it's not 95 baht then, is it?

Just left The Game
AFL on the large screen
NRL on other tvs
Had a 95thb pint of Leo
They are listening but it seems its easier for people to complain behind a computer than pay a visit to check the place out themselves.
Also heard them say they will launching a 99thb breakfast with coffee or tea in the next few days
Just out of interest, how much did your 95 baht pint of Leo actually cost? 95+12% 106.4? or Just 95 baht?
-
was there 17.7% on top of that? Yikes......that's a lot of money for ground up pig dicks.
You really do come across as a very unpleasant person. I'm not sure if that is your intention,

Can't say fairer than that.
BUT I won't go to a place that only sells small beers, what ever the price. I like big beers
and feel that an establishment that refuses to sell them is only interested in ripping me off on small beer prices.
Maybe not true, but this is Chiang Mai, BIG beer country.
(Having said that, I'm currently on the wagon so not any bar's ideal customer!)

You can order Warren pullets from the egg shop, (almost next door to the big Second hand junk shop) on the CM Lamphun road, just by the Mahidol Rd intersection.

We went - with friends - down to Anusarn Market (night bazzar) on Friday evening. I wanted a couple of new ties. As we walked through, my well trained wife asked at the the tie stands and got the cheapest price to 120 baht. On the way back, I was offered the same for 100 baht.... so, double pricing does exist"

Pork is so cheap here I cannot believe that someone would compromise on the quality just to save what is literally a few baht. All our pork is purchased from a farm that gets it supply from the villagers, the pigs seem to have the free run of the land and when they are slaughtered they are stunned with those electric headphone things first. The farm then hangs the meat in walk in fridges for two days before it goes to be sold. The combination of happy, mostly free range pigs and a couple of days hanging makes a huge difference from the stressed out pigs that provide the meat in many places
And here is?
Are they CP pigs?

BIGC had pork shoulder at 145 baht/kg today.... cheaper than mince!
