  1. I thought the combover was on the right. Anyway, get rid of these useless dinosaurs.
  2. Depends on the hospital. Go to a Government hospital. I know a farang who returned from public hospital in BKk with a whole bag of Alprazolam. They had given him a 6 month supply. At for profit private hospitals they want you to come back, and spend more money, so they are more "cautious "
  3. Yes,I would say more often than not they do ask.But it wasn't the first time that they didn't. I know a Hongkong Chinese with a British passport who also flies back and forth ,Saigon ,Bangkok, always vietjet on visa exemptions, who told me that they rarely ask him. Could be because he speaks perfect Vietnamese. I think the risk for airlines is minimal. Probably doesn't happen that often that they have to fly someone back, and in the end that someone will be made to reimburse the airline.
  4. Airasia Thai, Saigon to Don Mueang FD659..Running an hour late.
  5. Well, got my onward flight reservation this afternoon, and ,of course, they didn't ask for it just now at check-in. Bet ,if I hadn't gotten one, they would have asked. ????????
  6. For the sake of safety while riding on the escalator, Boonpong suggested passengers to keep one hand on the handrail and avoid using their cell phone. Good luck with that one. 90% of younger folks are so addicted to their devices that they can't focus on anything else for longer than a few seconds. Maybe speeding it up to a scary pace would make sure they remained focused.
  7. It depends on where and who. I have managed to extend it one week into my exemption stay ,I think it was in Rayong, and in Pattaya one IO screamed at me too early, come back in 2 to 3 weeks.
  8. What exactly is the TM 30 info from hotel, and is that required only in Pattaya or at all immigration offices? The last time I extended was in 2016 at Chaeng Wattana, and this was not a requirement.
  9. I regularly fly Airasia and Vietjet from Saigon to BBK, and I would say 2 out of 3 times they asked to see my onward flight booking.
  10. A full refund would mean that you get back every single cent you spend. Is that even possible? Airlines often charge you for paying with a card. Not so sure you will get that back.
  11. I am flying in on a one way flight for a visa exemption. Just to be on the safe side(airline check in sometimes ask for outbound booking. In the past I always had either a visa or a round trip ticket, so not sure what they do when you can't provide proof of a flight out of LOS), I want to get one of these temporary flight reservation. Which agency/website is reliable? You google and get it and you get scores of them.
  12. Antihistamines only work for a short time. Not over the counter (in Cambodia still OTC) ,but a hospital will prescribe ,is Zolpidem. No drowsiness in the morning. A lot less addictive than benzos, Half a tablet should be enough. Tolerance builds up much more slowly than with sedatives.Don't take it every night.Every other night, and it might give you some relief for a long time .
  13. They seem to be pretty strict with the 2 land border entries per calender year. If you are based in Phnom Penh or Kampot, Vietnam is the better option anyway, they allow unlimited land border entries.
