  1. Okay, I hope the "underlying crime" trolling is over.

The Defense will give it up tomorrow without having disproven any significant facts that Prosecution witnesses have alleged. That's usually bad for the Defense.

Truly, the best hope for Trump is that he got info on one of the jurors and has either threatened or bribed them to hold out for acquittal.

Yeah, he overspent too.  A sad habit that most presidents seem to have. But I will say that his worst pre-covid deficit was only about half of Biden's deficit last year. Any reason Biden needed to spend an extra trillion last year instead of trying to be at least a little prudent after the overspending that both he and Trump did during Covid?

Do you think that Trump's Unified Reich will fix the problem?

Nor is the prosecution's case. Notice how quiet it is in the echo chamber.

Almost time for this topic to die out anyway, Cohen is finished.

Costello goes on again tomorrow. Now that we know that Bragg knew and didnt prosecute Cohen for a felony wow.

Trump said today NY needs to be fixed. Now the stakes get high and the jJudge knows it. The case is already into about 9 reversible errors so:

    1. Trump convicted, re-elected, reversed on appeal, special prosecutor to investigate all the violations of Federal Law, probably to include RICO based on civil rights violations,  lawyer up Bragg, Fanny and Letitia, and dont think they wont squeal to save their skins.

    2. Trump aquitted, relected, special prosecutor appointed to investigate all the violations of Federal Law, probably to include RICO based on civil rights violations, lawyer up Bragg, Fanny and Letitia, and dont think they wont squeal to save their skins.

    3. Trump convicted defeated but reversed on appeal. they skate.

    Place your bets.

I am actually agreeing with you.

I think Trump will get relief from a Court of Appeals for all of his convictions and fines.

How do you know that those reviews are fake?

One is that some reviews are copies of earlier reviews, with the same photos.

Secondly, there are some items (18650 lithium batteries) that I know are counterfeit, but I buy them and test them to verify that they are fake, and I post my review with receipts (photos of the testing). But fake reviews are posted claiming that the counterfeits are real, and those reviews are then re-posted periodically.

Its not so much Lazada as it is the dishonest and deliberately misleading vendors it allows on its platform - its extremely difficult for them to police the 1000's of such vendors.

I have been ripped off in similar instances in the past

    - Purchasing a Metal Travel Cutlery set (during covid as I was sick being issued with plastic knives and forks during various quarantines while travelling) - I received what I'd ordered, but the size was only suitable for a child.

    - Purchasing 'zip up boot bag' (to put dirty shoes and boots in while travelling) - ( the bag was only big enough to fit children's footwear).

While not specifically a scam, I suspect these vendors deliberately mislead the shopper - we have to be much more diligent and go to the reviews etc, then filter out the fake reviews - it gets to the point where we don't trust anything on the platform.

I am seeing a lot of fake reviews on Lazada, too.

Fine  Judge will be sure to say except.

I am talking about how normal people evaluate witnesses. If Cohen's allegations are corroborated by other witnesses and documents, the jurors won't simply dismiss them as lies.

A lot of cooperating witnesses have convictions for perjury and other crimes. So, prosecutors have to corroborate their testimony. It's very common.
