    Barring a physical or mental collapse or external event, Biden has got this. The question is what does Putin have up his sleeve to help Trump? Perhaps a last ditch effort to take Kyiv? Of course, the key phrase is "are you better off than you were four years ago?" Republicans dare not go there.

    I meant the Georgia trial. The obvious sequence of events is Trump is found guilty in NY, gets probation, then is found guilty in Georgia, gets prison time as a repeat offender.

    Nathan Wade resigns after judge says Fani Willis and her office can stay on Trump Georgia 2020 election case if he steps aside I am thinking that the judge sent a message yesterday when he dropped a bunch of the charges due to their being poorly worded; ie Fani Willis needed a better Special Prosecutor.

    So, when does the Trump trial start? Note that it was Wade's responsibility to prepare the indictments, many of which were thrown out yesterday. A new prosecutor might be able to revise them sufficiently to be approved by the judge.

    You seem very naive. Big donors give big money to candidates for office in the hope that if they win, the donor will be repaid with favors. In Trump's case, he personally needs money - for him, not his campaign.

    There are some factors in the upcoming election that have nothing to do with the candidates that will impact the results. The Republican candidate for governor of North Carolina is such a nut job that he may put the state in play. Some states have referenda on abortion that will spur turnout. I think the battlegrounds will be larger this time around.
