Greenland has lost ice 36 times the size of New York. That’s a huge problem for the planet
Human produced Carbon Dioxide has increased the amount of atmospheric CO2 from the normal 280 ppm to over 400 ppm, during the last 100 years. Do you disagree?

A chart from Dr. Roy Spencer, a global warming skeptic. Is he part of the conspiracy, too? https://www.drroyspencer.com/latest-global-temperatures/

You don't know that the oil companies pay scientists to sow doubt about Global Warming? Where do you think your talking points come from?

So, you are claiming that thousands of scientists are on the take? Let's turn your opinion around: if a scientist could disprove global warming, how much money would they make from the oil companies?

The Deniers here have no idea what you are talking about.

Trump is dominating the primaries. That doesn’t mean he’ll beat Biden
Once again, it is not unusual for a Senator to retain some classified documents after leaving office. In Biden's case, he was a Senator for many years, and then went from that office to Vice President. The prosecutorial standard is if it can be proven that classified documents were not returned when discovered, and willfully retained, then prosecution is merited.

World's temperature likely to break key 1.5C warming threshold for first time between 2023 and 2027, scientists predict
Yes. My point is that the first step in solving a problem to identify the problem. The Deniers don't believe there is a problem. They generally don't believe that human produced carbon dioxide is causing global warming.

All CO2 causes warming. The problem that the natural level of 280mm is now increased to 400+ ppm by human produced CO2. I

Judge orders Trump and companies to pay nearly $355 million in civil fraud trial
The flip side is that your comments here are not based on the facts. Apparently, you take the lazy approach of just passing along talking points your internet friends send you. Trump has been found to have committed asset valuation fraud, and is ordered to pay a huge sum. Are you going to pass him some cash to help him out?

Actually, it does. Given that presidents and vice presidents are provided literally tons of classified documents, its not usual for some of those documents to be retained after the end of their terms in office. The criminal element is when someone declines to return classified documents. This is a very simple legal principle which some people are unable to grasp. Let me give you an analogy: if you get a ticket for driving a car with a broken headlight, you are required to fix the headlight after being advised by the cop. If you refuse to fix the headlight and keep driving, you will be in a world of trouble. Trump refused to fix his metaphoric headlight.

Trump committed asset valuation fraud. The proof was extensive. Perhaps you were not paying attention.

Trump did lose the popular vote in 2016, as predicted by the polls.

Well, that was mindless. Do you think allowing asset valuation fraud in business is good public policy? Do you think that when banks evaluate loan applications, they should just ignore the data in the application, because loan applications shouldn't be trusted?

The asset deflation was to reduce property taxes, which are payable to the county, not the Feds. Property valuation for payment of property taxes is made by the county. If the owner of the property feels the valuation is too high, they can appeal, and provide data supporting a lower valuation. So, Trump probably gave the County the real data.

I haven't seen any evidence of tax evasion yet during this trial. Except for the $48 million "loan".

This topic isn't about alarmism. It's about the reality that the planet is warming. Do you disagree?

Regardless of the personal actions of scientists, the planet is warming, caused by human produced carbon dioxide.

Questions about Space Stuff?
After the publication of the NY Times article, Walt Anderson caught the attention of the IRS, and went to jail for a few years. He lost his money in the dotcom crash. Years later, he is fighting to regain his investment in one of my companies, my very first company, which turned out to be worth something, almost 20 years after it ceased operations.

Its a standard practice in Russian aerospace to have drinks before doing business with foreigners. I was warned by the NASA guys to drink or not be trusted. As part of my job, I went to a lot of suppliers of secondary systems, so there was a lot of drinking. I went to the Progress plant in Samara, where they make the Soyuz rocket. Their vodka of choice was Rodnik, which they claimed they also used to clean the engines of the rocket.
