  1. Just make sure she doesn’t wander around offering massages in the UK while you’re at work. Check her social media accounts. Maybe she’s already booked a few clients.
  2. I call it a draw. They’re both right and wrong at the same time.
  3. One major difference would be more tourist riding there. They cause a lot of accidents due to lack of experience and understanding of Thai driving etiquette or simply riding for the first time.
  4. Not just another committee, rather a joint committee they say needs to be established. The joint will be supplied by the protesters and members formed from government. Now that’s a collaboration.
  5. No plan for compensation? Seriously? You operate contrary to law and expect compensation? Wonder how many kids have been affected. If anything I’d fine or imprison any shop that sold the stuff for non-medical purposes.
  6. Well they didn’t act in good faith. If they did, they’d sell it for medical purposes only. Instead they opened up in touristy and shady locations targeting recreational users. IMO most in fact acted in bad faith.
  7. How about he was a police officer. As face saving tactic by police they disowned it.
  8. Who’d wanna see hairy armpit images anyway.
  9. This guy’s a genius. Ordered to put the fire out and ordered the rescue of trapped people. What would Thais do without his leadership. In this case all of bkk would’ve been on fire trapping millions. What a wise hero.
  10. Thai corruption extends its tentacles far and beyond.
  11. On a serious note…you’re 100% correct.
  12. Not quite. Recreational use was not allowed but due to poor management it got out of hand where just about every shop that popped up was selling it for recreational use
  13. What does “top tourist destination” mean? Vague.
  14. On the other hand, some elderly women would feel good about it.
  15. Police run those places. They’ll close this with the usual photo op then re-open next door.
  16. Immigration police I believe have the right to know that you’re here legally. If you can prove it any other way then you’ve done well.
  17. Regardless. Under no circumstances is a man let alone in the course of doing business should physically assault a customer let alone a woman. Period
  18. This reminds me of a colleague fresh off the boat from USA who regularly visited a salon costing 900thb. Everyone at work laughed. “They are great and I get my head and shoulder rubbed too. I pay the same in USA but with no rubbing”. When he learned that for the price he can get rubbing in a lot more places, the penny dropped.
  19. I do same. Costs nothing and the delicate touch of the wife ends up rewarding to both of us later at night.
  20. Third world mentality when a woman dares to stand up against a man who thinks he’s superior. Leave me with the guy for 5 mins and he’ll apologize to the woman.
  21. Years ago I was doggy styling a bar girl. She had a tramp stamp with words “Tim’s, hands off”. Didn’t deter me. In my mind I said “Tim buddy, this is for you”. So if Tim is a member here, haha.
  22. You could be right. The suitcase maybe filled with the cash he allegedly took by mistake to the UK. When he opened it a few days ago realized the error, quickly booked a ticket to return it to the owner. What a guy, I’d say.
  23. If you believe financial security is superficial, you’re not living in the real world, rather a dreamer. Most people including Thai Women are pragmatic and prioritize their lives accordingly.
  24. … and the evening session involved Win guys handing out their monthly brown envelopes to police.
