  1. You said you didn't know why he was arrested. The link shows you why. Some will also after a conviction claim the convict is innocent.
  2. If you don't know why he was arrested I suggest to check first before posting. "In a statement, authorities said two British citizens and two Romanians were accused of forming a gang that recruited victims by “misrepresenting their intention to enter into a marriage/cohabitation relationship and the existence of genuine feelings of love”. Later, the victims were forced to perform pornography “through physical violence and mental coercion"." From the guardian, link provided earlier in the thread.
  3. I thought about that as well, but if you read the OP you'll see it's a different boat.
  4. Are you still doubting his intentions with many of his former staff coming with examples of his behaviour?
  5. The witnesses state the car crashed into the motorbike.
  6. As I said, your question doesn't even deserve any effort. Many similar links,
  7. On that road btw are nearly always bikes parked onto the road. This narrows the road and with insufficient lighting this often requires sudden avoidance movements.
  8. Yes, the car crashed into the bike. Read the full story.
  9. Because you'd ask for a link next. Just staying ahead of you.
  10. Agree. Also after his footballing career he tried to improve the game.
  11. The last thing I'm going to say about this, your question doesn't even deserve any effort. Many similar links, https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/06/25/the-uncomfortable-question-was-the-brexit-vote-based-on-racism/
  12. Maybe she is a racist, maybe not, I never made that claim. The claim I made is that racism also played a role in the Brexit vote.
  13. I wish I was wrong. And agree, it is sad. No need to win any debate, just adding something to an incomplete post.
  14. Yes, should have been Musk of course. But I'm pretty sure you know who I meant.
  15. I agree there was more than economics, it's called racism.
  16. Trump has banned many but you still claim he is the champion of free speech? Astonishing. Well, maybe not.
  17. Before the Russian draft there were many westerners, independent and families, my guess is die to low flight prices. Right now Indians and Russians, but a big part of the Russians are long stayers. I expect the Indians to keep coming, but not many westerners the next months. So while condo's and long term options will be busy, hotels and tours will quiet down considerably in my expectation.
  18. Complaining about adding non existent scenario from the guy who introduced a 50 room mansion to the discussion.
  19. Musk put himself in the spotlights and is making sure to stay there with extremely erratic decisions. That's the reason for the negative news blibs.
  20. Which is all immaterial. Renewables are becoming more and more practical, that's the point.
  21. Why do you feel the need to put down people who can't afford heating their home anymore so resort to sitting under blankets?
  22. That's a great relief for an investor, he only did significantly worse than others in the last 2 months. Isn't that about since the Twitter takeover?
  23. So now you're using NZ examples to show the UK is doing ok.
  24. Compare the Tesla share price and you'll see a much bigger decline.
  25. I agree with his conclusion (3 sentences to comply with rules but there is more) but recommend to scroll straight to the end of the article. The question of why the Trumpian populist right is so consumed with hatred for Ukraine—a hatred that clearly goes beyond concerns about U.S. spending, a very small portion of our military budget, or about the nonexistent involvement of American troops—doesn’t have a simple answer. Partly, it’s simply partisanship: If the libs are for it, we’re against it, and the more offensively the better. (And if the pre-Trump Republican establishment is also for it, then we’re even more against it.) Partly, it’s the belief that Ukrainian democracy is a Biden/Obama/Hillary Clinton/”Deep State” project, all the more suspect because it’s related to Trump’s first impeachment.
