My main reason to ask this question was to see of this kind of work entitles you to fall under some kind of Thai visa category.

I mean does working online thru your computer selling goods entitle you for some kind of a Thai visa. There are people who work online without disclosing it as they might to afraid to ask or tell about their online working, but this a Very Interesting Point which people have to face. Well, if this kind of working entitles you for a Visa, then the folks doing this kind of work are legally entitled to fall under a particular Thai visa category and the reson so many folks who are working online without showing are afraid f the consequences, but just look at theotitive side of the picture - all these people would fall under a particular Visa category as denoted by Thai Immigration.

Is it possible to get a non immigrant business visa by working online in Thailand. I do not know if this kind of working would be categorized as getting a visa.

In this case the person working would not be able to show any documents from his employer if he is working freelancing online thru some online selling sites. The only proof would be the Paypal payments received by him whenever sales are made online.

There has to some kind of category under Thai Immigration that this kind of work falls under so as to enable the person to obtain a Visa legally.

Somebody already has done this procedure before, I read somewhere on the thaivisa forum only. The intention is to stay with the old parent an take care of her and remove all the hindrances that are there with being a foreigner in Thailand.

This process has already been done by one individual, I read on thaivisa some time ago but am not able to trace it now.

According to me it is possible so I would like to gather all information that can be sent to me in this regard.

Well, this is something that has to be foreseen before it happens meaning there have to be provisions in the visa rules before a mishap pending takes place. If a country like Thailand which is rock rolling on torism then this is a valid point that has to be considered when things go bad.

I'm am giving a valid angle to this whole issue. Just image a foreigner who is married to a Thai lady for many years suddenly loses his wife and he already had given up everything in his home country as he wanted to live the rest of his life in Thailand with his wife after marriage.

What options does he have in this case --- he cannot go back to his own country as he renouced and wound up everything there after marriage and what options do Thai immigration give him.

This is a sore but a valid point that has to be dealt with when ur in Thailand......

When u are staying in Thailand on visa extensions a lot of questions come to ur mind all the time.

Something that crossed my mind ..........

What happenens if someone from outside Thailand staying in Thailand on yearly legal visa extensions loses his Thai wife due to natural death ????? How will that person get his visa extended if his wife passes away ? Has thai immigration thought of this angle in a persons life not in their immigration rule book.......

My younger son wants to undergo a technical coursE thru the thailand dual vocational system where anyone who has finished class 9 can undergo these kinds of courses offered in Thailand with on hands training while studying.

The way i do it is :-

I send a self addressed envelope with a 10 baht stamp and my name on it for the return acknowledgement paper.I photocopy all my stamped passport pages and send it to the 90 day reporting.I send them a tm 47 form, a copy of my tm9 card, and the original receipt received last time i reported for 90 days.

The envelope addressed back to comes back in about 10-12 days and i stick the piece of paper i get from thai immigration in my passport for my next time 90 days reporting.

its simple if u do it the right way.

You will need to setup a company. Easiest way would be sole proprietary company in your sons name. Apply for import/export license in the companies name and register it for VAT. For importing process use a freight forwarder.

Well, my main concern for a lawyer in this case (I WANT TO ACQUIRE THAI NATIONALITY) was so that i can get all the paperwork in order and i know it is a time consuming process but i did not want to mess up things at any point of time.
