I would like to start New Business in Thailand.
My wife is Thai and I have been married for 18 yrs with 2 sons aged 17 and 15 years.
I would like to open a shop Selling Computer Parts and Repairing Computers( A Business which i am already presently doing in my country). For my wife i would like to have a Counter inside the shop that sells Artificial Jewellery.
I would like to know the process to start this business venture with my family like setting up a Thai Ltd Co and other paperwork and formalities required.
This Business Venture will also enable me to take up 1 year Visas and consequently apply for Thai Citizenship.
Kindly tell me the best option that requires minimum investment in my case.
I would like to know the fees structure for setting up a company and yearly auditing charges, yearly tax paying amounts and charges in my case to make me eligible for Visa extensions for 3 years.
A Detailed reply will be highly appreciated in advance....

I intend to buy some property in Phayao as my wife already has a house there.I was looking for a place where I could open my work, preferable not a very big place. Preferable areas would be just opposite the Kwan Phayao River or near the Veyang Market or near Muang District Phayao.

Well, Thanks !!!
I was wanting to know if I ca n have a 3 month extension in Thailand itself without showing any money in the back or money coming into my account.

I have applied for a Non-Immigrant "O", Single Entry Category VISA from the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi, INDIA and I get it as my wife and kids are Thai nationals. This lets me stay in Thailand for 3 months.
I wanted to know if i can apply for the extension for this Visa before it finishes for another 3 months.
Also if i can apply for extension will I require any other documents besides my Thai Marriage Certificate and my wife's Thai Id. These are the only document that I submit to the Royal Thai Embassy in my country to get this VISA every time I go to Thailand.
The Embassy in my country is not able to clarify this as they say that this information will be available only in Thailand with the immigration authorities there.
Kindly advise me so I can plan my trip accordingly.
AND A BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCE FOR REPLYING !!!!!

Can a person apply for Thai Immigration from his country of Residence like it is done or USA or Canada where you submit all papers for Immigration and then wait for your number to come. The process in these countries takes a number of years.
Do we have a similar Immigration process in Thailand where a person can file papers for Thai Immigration from his country and await his turn for Approval ???

I mean importing a motor vehicle from Thailand to India and not from India to Thailand.
-
My Wife is a Thai National staying with me in INDIA for the past 17 years on Valid Visa Extensions.
I want to know :-
1. Can we import a car from Thailand Duty Free into INDIA ???
I think that foreign nationals who have been staying in another country for a long time are authorized to import a motor vehicle into that country Duty Free.
Everyone's Suggestions will be Highly Appreciated........

Don't we have an Authorized Taxi Point at the Arrivals Exit. It would be problematic taking Luggage of 3 passengers from one point of the airport to the other.
Logically there should be a Prepaid Taxi Stand at the Arrivals Exit point as in all Airports.
Going to the Departure is OK as long as there is not too much baggage or Traveling with Family else it is cumbersome.
-
Thailand Airports have changed now!
The Big Question is where to find a Prepaid Taxi run by the Thailand Authorities at the new airport or rather where to go and look for one at the new airport.
Previously at the old airport which I have been a number of times it was easy as the location of the prepaid taxi was just outside the exit door of the airport.
They used to give a Receipt for the money that they took. It was approved by the Thailand Authorities.
There are a lot of Taxi Guys at the airport so it is very difficult to find the Right-Legal Taxt Service who will not fleece you.
I would appreciate if the directions to go to the Right Government Authorised Taxi Service is given, as the last time I went to Bangkok, I was picked up by a relative in their car so I have no clue as to their whereabouts.

Three yearly extensions make a person eligible to apply for Thai Passport.
Is that correct????

I am married to a Thai National for the past 16 years and obtain a Non I migrant "O" Visa whenever I travel to Thailand with my wife and kids in case I decide to stay there for a longer period of time. A Non-Immigrant "O" enables me to get my Visa extended beyond the normal 90 days, but this is something which I have never had the need to do.
This time I want to go to Thailand with the Non-Immigrant "O" Visa. The clarification I want is :-
1. If I stay in Thailand and get a 1 yr Visa Extension and come back to my country after taking a re-entry permit from the Immigration Office.
2. I apply for 2 more yearly extensions over a period of 2 years from Thai Immigration by traveling yearly to Thailand.
Is it necessary for me to stay in Thailand after getting my yearly VISA extensions or can I come back to my country after taking a Re-entry permit ???
Clarifications are required please.....

It seems a bird told me not to worry and be happy, so I have stopped thinking now.

I would like to know what category of Visa should I apply for when I come to Thailand next month :-
1. Non-Immigrant "O" Single Entry
OR
2. Non-Immigrant "O" Multiple Entry
considering that my Wife and Kids are presently holding Thai Nationality whereas I am holding Indian Nationality.
My basic purpose is to stay with my Wife and Kids in Thailand. I already have take Non-Immigrant "O" Single Entry 2-3 times previously, but my stay in Thailand was only for 2 months.
Now we plan to stay together in Thailand for a long time.
a. Which Visa category would be better out of the two taking into mind that I would need to extend my Visa time after time without doing Visa Runs ?
b. On which Visa category can I have yearly extensions with least botheration and paperwork ?
Also, someone told me of a person in Bangkok who can get me Yearly Extensions without my Bank Statements i.e. without money showing up in my bank for a certain price (Baht 20,000/-). In this case it would take 3-4 days for the passport to be delivered to me in Bangkok area & I would be required to show up in person at Immigration Office in Bangkok after every Three Months without paying any money. This person has been doing this for various clients for the past 4 years. Please let me know what you make of this ?
I have spoken to some people who got a similar thing done i.e. arriving in Thailand on Non-Immigrant "O" Single Entry and then getting a similar thing like me done thru this guy for a price(Baht 20,000/-). Their Visa used to be for 15 months after this guy helped them (12 months from Bangkok Immigration + 3 months from Thai Embassy in Delhi + reporting to Bangkok Immigration after every 90 days which was free of charge.)
Also, please clarify that whether I would be eligible for the same if I applied in person myself to Bangkok Immigration in the first place, because I am hesitant to hand over my passport to some person.
In other words would the Immigration give me 1 year Extension without showing any money in my bank like this guy is promising and has done it for various people ?
Everything is legal both ways i.e. either I go to Immigration myself or let this guy do it for me.
Another thing in my mind is that the Embassy here tells me that I need to have Baht 40,000 every month or Baht 4,00,000/- yearly in my name in the bank to be eligible for extensions - How come this guy does it legally for clients without showing any money in their account or rather not even showing their accounts ? Whereas money is a main criteria for Extensions as far as I have heard ??
Also, he has told me to to apply for Non-Immigrant "O" Single Entry at the Thai Embassy in my country rather than Non-Immigrant "O" Multiple Entry because if I took Non-Immigrant "O" Multiple Entry Visa than I would have to leave Thailand after every 90 days. How far is this true ? Would the Single Entry fees be cheaper compared to double Entry for Extension purposes ? This could be a reason why he is telling me to opt for Single Entry so that he pays less money as fees to Immigration at the price(Baht 20,000/-) that he has quoted me.
Kindly clarify all details for me as it would help me to do all my paperwork in order.

Firstly get a Birth Certificate where the child is born. Then get it translated in the Thai Embassy or Consulate. After this show the mother's passport at the Embassy with the newborn's birth certificate.
This would enable you to get a passport for your child. Do not get the child's name endorsed in the mother's passport as you would have to anyways get a seperate passport for the child on growing up. Whatever gets sorted out in the first place is better.
I got a passport for my younger son the same way.
Congrat's for the soon to be new arrival.

I have friends coming to Bangkok very frequently in a month for shopping or purchasing purposes. I could take cash from them and give them Bearer cheques of my local bank in India which they could withdraw when they go back. This way I save on the expenses of Wire Transfer and also possibly my bank in India does not have Wire Transfer.
If I was to deposit a Cheque or Draft, it would take a long time to reflect I have seen it happen before.
What do U say .....///-----

Clarification for Baht 40,000 ///----
1. Does it have to be deposited every month in my Thai Bank Account on the same day ?????
2. How does the deposit have to show up in my account ??????
3. Interbank deposit or Wire Transfer or Cheque/Draft deposit or Cash Deposit ??????

Well.
If you bought your T60 at 95,000 Baht then you have overpaid for it in the first place.
Secondly, if the T60 motherboard is available at Baht 8500 it is definately worth it.
Lastly, if you are still unable to locate the motherboard, do let me know. I will organize it for you.

Economical Lawyer In Bangkok - Pahurat Area
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
I am looking for an experienced lawyer in the Little India - Pauhrat Market in Bangkok which is inhabited with a lot of Indians.
I would like to seek the services of this lawyer to process my Citizenship papers for Thailand.
I am an indian married to a thai lady with 2 thai kids for the past 15 years with my thai marriage certificate from my local Amphur.
I have searched for a lot of lawyers but the lawyer fees are very high and in my case, I have a genuine citizenship case(being married to a thai lady and having 2 thai kids) so the fees has to be considerably less.
I will be coming to thailand next month and would like to use the services of a lawyer in my case.
thanks .....
